The response to the previous edition has singled MO:DEM out for hosting one of the most exceptional line-ups on the festival circuit: so we fly with the same strategy this year; delivering a finely-researched music program that brings you sounds that are fresh, high-grade, organic and truly underground... Of course, we return to the same location - which is off-the-scale-beautiful! A spring-water river and natural green space make it immense for swimming, trekking, rafting, exploring... It's one of many reasons we will preserve it more than ever by dedicating the festival to the theme: Ecology. Ideas and visions for ecology and well-being will be inspired by a special program for workshops, therapies and practice sessions that include yoga: all taking place down by the river and next to the Art Gallery. Along with many other improvements over last year, the camping will be much more spacious, and for those that do not like the hill, a shuttle-bus service will transport you between Chill Out and Main Floor! 2014 is proving revolutionary for many of us: it will be a very special season indeed... Hey PsyNews, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. Why does it seem that there's so much hate towards the Full On genre? (Most of you guys just seem impartial to it from what I've read on various posts. And maybe some of you ignore it...) I've only known of Fullon as the face of Psytrance. Anything else tends to have a tribal sound. Which is definitely cool as hell, I would just consider it tribal music, and not Psy. But that's just me. I'd like to know your guys' opinions if you show hate to Fullon, and either if you do or don't, which genre is the "face" of psytrance to you? Or maybe it's a certain sound, kick, beat, vocal, or whatever that does it for you. I've just been curious. EDIT: Some Psytrance sounds like industrial/futurepop

And when she says I love you back (Hooponopono), well then, you know you've found the one. Ovnimoon is Hector Stuardo and he runs the Ovnimoon label which has given so much. I mean c'mon, they seem to throw a record out there like every three days. But we forget that he's also an accomplished artist who walks that fine line between psytrance and progressive. Walks it? He backflips across that motherf*cker. Floating and drifting melodies, thumping beats, thick layers of lush atmosphere, and a pair of goa tracks that he shoves right in your face. Yeah, get some! But it's not just two tracks, the goa imprint is all over this. If goa was mud he just tracked it all over you f*cking living room. This is how you do psytrance. Hell this is how you mix goa, psy and progressive to make a brilliant album. It is so utterly rich and detailed you can throw out the old playbook because this is next level. The old rules and cliches no longer apply. This is Tales of Heads awesome and easily one of the best releases of the year 2013. Cue mic drop cause this is a game changer. Psyshop Mdk

Last Call I'm perplexed because this isn't dynamic. Ronen Dahan at this time still had his feet stuck in the muck that was the minimal sounding boredom present at the beginning of the millennium. It's very boring without any surprises. Melodies are scarce, there is no power, and if you were driving with this in the deck you might be on the wrong side of a car accident. Imagine high speed drone. Hard to imagine that even in 2002 this was on the cutting edge, but there was a time and a place for everything I suppose. This mix was originally supposed to be something else entirely, but I deviated from that position when I simply couldn't find any psytrance of those styles that I liked enough to play in a set. So I am back with another "chapter" of my high tech full-power psytrance series with a second mathematical submission. You can find the first one here: Fractal Geometry. I named this one after calculus because calculus is confusing, and so is my flow and some of my mixing decisions.
