Hei trippers and trancers, this is a label announcement with news + updates on whats going on within KER. discogs: https://www.discogs.com/label/1393052-Kali-Earth-Records bandcamp: https://kaliearth.bandcamp.com/ Kali Earth was established as a new label on the 28th of December 2017. The first release was on the same night. The release is a single track by Material Music (a talented artist) given to the psytrance event organizer Love&Magic, in 2015. It was only now let loose, just the way it is. A proper Record label, i think we most agree on is a label that publish and release physical formats (CD, Vinyl) as well as the new digital formats like i.e FLAC and Wav. We've chosen a tad unconventional way of starting up the label in these new times. Therefor we use mainly Bandcamp but we will when things are more ready and steady move onto other distributor pages as well to be more accessible to the general wider public. Right now, we only offer a CDr/Files of our debut release (KER001) . And the single is a grower, so expect it to get more tracks added soon.... Our aim is in general great psytrance and chillout music, and we're not afraid of pushing the envelope or to creating a new style on the way. The label name Kali Earth Records is in direct inspiration to the legendary label, Shiva Space Technology (SST). Hi everybody Since I discovered Psychedelic Trance, there are approximately 1-2 years I have never ceased to observe what I had observed in the Hardcore scene, Industrial, Rock,...etc : there are so many styles and sub-styles that it becomes a mess to find a way and we sometimes end (or even often) to nonsensical debates about how we will appoint or not appoint, define or not define, this or that music or this or that style. So I decided there are now more than a year to create a doc in PDF form gathering all styles of Psychedelic Trance and their characteristics without making pies of texts to infinity and beyond. http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/2901243725316.jpg It will be a little more than a year (or almost, must take breaks anyway ) to skim all anglophone and francophone forums, searching the most representative artists of every style, and recovering some information and definitions stuffed with spelling mistakes on Wikipedia, clumsy repetitions, discount translations all straight out of the English version of Wikipedia passed under Google Translate, and other calamities, and to correct then to complement them. Obviously, if you find an ugly lack of agreement/spelling well hidden in the bushes, an incomplete definition, or one of your prefered style/artist thatsmasheseverythingbutreallyeverything that is not referenced, feel free to sh*t in my face please let me know, it will be corrected in the shortest possible time if need there. Hello Everyone! I used to have a thread here with DAT Records update but well, I have no idea where it has gone, so I thought I could start a new one anyway. I have been extremely busy in the last months because I was working on a lot of things, some of which were properly announced and on some others that are still secret and waiting to be told . Let me start with announcing that finally I have updated the website of DAT: http://www.datrecords.it/ I have added the News where I will always have the 3 latest pages and then there are proper sections for all that I do with the label: Releases, the Mind Rewind saga, the T-shirts (yay!), and the Vinyl crowdfunding, which really needs your help in this final stage. Every other page has been updated as well so to make it look better and v2.0 so please, have a look. Then speaking of releases I am happy to announce this week, on the 4th of April 2014 the 2 newest singles will come out, and how good they are, really! You'd hear soon enough... Virtuart & Symbiote. Then I can tell you that the first VA on DAT will come out in the near future and will be called Analog Dreams, it's part of a trilogy that hopefully will have a release every year. As soon as I receive the last contract signed I will announce the tracklist on another thread and boy you don't wanna miss this one. Then after that there will be a 2CD Album, something really unexpected (not yet IFO guys) but that will be a blasting surprise, I can promise you that...
