Merci
  5. Hi everyone, This is my new project that I've finally decided to make public recently. It is not genre specific but I decided to make sure my first official release will be a Downtempo track. Also, it's worth mentioning that I composed this music to video, so you can argue that it is somewhat cinematic as well. As some of you may know, I stopped producing Goa trance some 2-3 years ago and was devoted to exploring other genres since (predominately hybrid orchestral and symphonic music). If you'd love to stay in touch or follow for more music down the line, I kindly invite you to follow some of my pages listed below: Facebook Bandcamp Soundcloud Spotify Thanks for listening!
  6. This is a track that I have been recently working on. The melodies/chords are simpler than my other work, but I tried to go for a hypnotic approach with lots of repetition in a "outer space" themed track. Note: I use FL Studio's step sequencer/channel rack only. Not playlist mode. I prefer the step sequencer because I can make the track feel more natural in a "live" way when I record. Criticism is wanted!
  7. Man, it feels like I haven't been on here for such a long time. Anyhows, I've been listening to some Jazzy stuff and also to some stuff from the 80's. I've got to say, there's a lot of good sounding music. What I am asking is if anyone else has found songs, artists, and/or albums that feature a space like ambiance along with some nice sounding saxophone melodies/leads. This track for example has been one of my favorites. I prefer tracks without any vocals and mainly instrumentals. Also, would be awesome if any folks can recommend tracks that are similar to these two tracks: What I enjoy with these two tracks is all the 80's elements, from the synths, bass, and the great saxophone portions. If there are any songs/albums that are focused on these specific elements (again, with no vocals), be free to post them!

Our chronicles mention that about 500 years ago our people began to explore beyond the ocean star, reaching out in three directions towards the brightest lights in the sky. As one colony matured, another fleet journeyed on. It is our belief that our kind have traveled roughly two hundred years of light, spawning from the OceanStar. Our group, it is told, has traveled to the farthest reaches, towards the pinnacle of light, the top dot of the map. It has been many cycles since our kind have had contact with the other commons... Have they perished? Have we ventured so deep into space as to isolate ourselves or has a dark tragedy erased our proud past? Far beyond the farthest light is the domain of the galactic empire, hailing from the deep valley's of the ocean star, flowing down the river of time through the raise and fall of civilizations. Ocean Star Empire is a psychedelic goa trance act touching three dots on one map - Nomad Moon fromPortugal, Bachanalian Bass from the USA and Faxi Nadu from Israel. Communication was a path to a vision, vision ionized into action, and action was transposed into music. Traveling the sonic wormholes through the golden times to the space age, with a deep respectto the hypnotic goa giants of history and an eye blink towards the timeless future. Bacchanalian Bass Kyle Ramos from the U.S.A. joined Ocean Star Empire after the first album, The Purest Form. Bacchanalian Bass produces a strange form of trance that is not exactly Psytrance or Goa, but more influenced by Deep House sounds and gray Ambient moods inspired by his surroundings of pine trees and American history and love of archaic romanticism, gaslight-illuminated night ambiences, and all things surreal. Nomad Moon Nuno Muacho from Portugal, loving and producing psy since 2006. Into the fusion of the old and the new from goa to fullon and everything in between. Defender of the truth and of planet earth, Nomad Moon waits patiently for the day of first contact and is always ready with some goatrance for the coming visitors. Faxi Nadu Yaron Eshkar and Oss Vaisband, citizens of planet earth and living in Israel. Producing music since 2000. Faxi Nadu music features philosophical musings presented through varied psytrance and techno stories. Exploring human nature and the interaction of past and future - part space explorationand part forgotten elven bard songs.
  11. I find myself wondering about this oftenly when i'm looking to the stars from the ground i'm standing and bring to my mind the vastness of space with the infinite of the celestial objects, the suns, the stars and the planets. That the place i'm living in and the ground i'm standing on is also a part of this whole «space», that this ground spins around a sun inside a solar system which lies inside a galaxy and that it's a quite tiny piece of it (lost in the perpetuity of time). The only thing that separates the ground from the the void is spheres of atmosphere that is layers of air. When i'm watching the fullmoon, i try to approach it with my mind, to measure the distance, to see the moon from a closer point, a closer distance. I also imagine to observe the night sky from other stars and see the starlight of the earth too. I see that the perception of «space» and the awareness of the position is mostly missed to a dimensional missconception. The misunderstanding is that the sky is being perceived as something like a dome (or a flat screen) with decorative lights· the moon is being seen as something like a big lamp and the stars as something like LED lighting. It's like living in a hollow earth, where inside is the whole universe, the whole creation, and where outside there's nothing or nothing happens, there's nothing serious or important, or there's nothing to see. . . . . P.S. So, someone might ask, is there any moral here? Any deeper meaning? Myths may have many levels and states of solid explanation and deeper understanding, and this observation may stand as an allegory of the platonic myth of the cave. So, the real exposure here, behind the dimensional missconception, is a worldview missconception.. ..The question (or the quest for) of the constant awareness of our position in «space» and full awareness of our existence.

  14. Another clip from the new Ocean Star Empire album Dots On Maps. Ocean Star Empire -3 Dots On A Map (Faxi Nadu Remix) Taking the original tune and jacking it up a few notches, with a pumpier groove and additional new melodies, sounds and flow. The track uses a lot sounds from a Yamaha An1x, both in the original and the remix. A Moog Slim Phatty is also doing a bunch of new things on the remix, as well as more sounds from Scope's Modular. The clip combines generative graphics with a smeared images of a psytrance party made with legos. 19. Krusseldorf – From Soil to Space 1. Geometrics 2. Boxing 3. The Cell 4. First Blood 5. From Soil to Space 6. Click 7. Deep Fulgin 8. Tokyo Nights 9. Soe Doe 10. Deep into the Bowl 11. Choclop 12. Zyclops 13. A head under the Towel After having reviewed Krusseldorf's second album, 'Bohemian groove', I was certain that this was the pinnacle of Simon Heath's career, he could never release an album that would top it. This was the perfect album, there were no flaws, no bad tracks, no mistakes, everything was meshed into something extraordinary. This album was Simon's fifteen minutes of fame, I told myself, and to be honest, how do you top something perfect? Well you can't really top it but you obviously can do it again! And perfect a second time around, is surely good enough for me. The first thing you recognize is Krusseldorfs amazing production skills, it's crisp, acidic, snappy and the composition never feels misplaced or unconsidered. The composition is worth mentioning, it's a more daring one. Simon is pushing the boundaries a little bit into a more glitchy and at times crazy approach, reminiscent of 'Smokers lounge', only this time it is executed exceedingly better. What is also apparent is the dark, gloomy touch. 'From soil to space' does not have the same emphasis on melodic content as Bohemian Groove did, which was a very colorful album. The color spectrum on FSTS is towards a more brown and gray one, represented on the cover art. Here the center of gravity is the gloomy atmosphere and the glitchy composition. A good way of describing this sonic gourmet dish is the merging between Simon's other project Atrium Carceri and Krusseldorf. So there's not a ton of melodies but they do appear from time to time. Although not as to make the music veer away too far from it's gloomy tendency, at most it sounds contemplatively beautiful with an edge of sadness. I think that this was a conscious choice from Simon and a good one at that. This album was never meant to convey something happy or elevating. It adds a mature touch, and it makes me regard Simon more as a great composer than a good downtempo producer. Music can be art, and very much so on FSTS. Every listen I just sit and “watch” the music, looking at it from different angles, letting it give rise to different notions and conceptions in my mind, there is always some little detail I didn't notice before. I would like to hang it on the wall but this is of course not possible, it's a piece of truly abstract art. It might be true that a picture says more than a thousand words, and I feel inclined to submit to you that a good album says more than words can ever describe. And this is surely the case with 'From soil to space'. If you like this review please check out my Blog at http://thenoseisperp...r.blogspot.com/

Free download! www.simpleman.hu ALBUM TRAILER -> Psychedelic music shows abstract, special emotions, feelings. We can forget the boring days, matters, ordinary feelings and reality. Simple Man places the music of universe, intelligence and a dark fantasy into this style. He starts a „big jumping” from reality, opens the space, time, shows the wonders and the galactic monsters. The music is fast, energetic, tunes are varied and high in special effects. Sometimes chillout and ambient atmospheres, tempos fly into the foreground and bring us into the endless, unknown… Simple Man’s Art is an anthem to the Intelligence, the Knowledge, the Mind, the Unknown and the Universe. Simple Man’s style is specific: he mixtures the elements of trance, progressive goa with the traits of psychedelic minimal and chillout and the result is the well-known „Simple Man Sounding”.
