  1. I also like Moonweed a lot, one of my favourite is the track "Jaunt" but I am not sure there are too many 303 lines in this track, which is indeed a rare thing with Moonweed. Telepath (original) is IMO better than the remix, because it is more psychedelic, I wish they remastered the original instead of the remix to include it in the album. But anyway, recommended album. These are real 303 lines no doubt Fun track. Green nuns of the revolution - Ring of fire, is an old classic but still one of my all time favourites in the genre. Miranda - Gnocchi 2004 is a very fun track. Sure it is not goa anymore (the original was) but the acid lines are real there and in your face. Listen here, starts at 29:20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2y2GJ1P4oA
  2. Yes a few days ago I actually noticed 2 accounts, Ultimate experience and another one Kris Sylven. I went out to buy some popcorns but looks like the accounts have been deleted. On a serious note, I have listened only the tracks available on youtube and I am seduced by both Waking up to chaos, and Crossworld. UX was never too much my cup of tea but I recognize the talent and their style grew on me a bit.
  3. Album worth having for Lightning Bolt alone. One of my favourite tracks of recent years, the melody at the start sounds so goa in the most mystic way (reminds me Battle of the future Buddhas - Domestic bliss, intro and outro there is a similar sound), killer track. And great album overall, congrats Arronax.
  4. Acid trance that is psychedelic, I guess Shamanic tribes on acid. But I am warning you, lots of bad tracks (4 albums released, MdK will agree with me). But if you dig, some interesting ones, for example "Alice in Acidland" which is damn intense and perfect for underground rave parties. "Drugged to the eyeballs" is pretty cool as well: Also there was a track I recommended before and posted in another thread, it is "E-Max - Culture of human beings" I listened to it 500 times at least and I still love it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9alvq9Wjxfk And last but not least, "Intoxication - Flight 303" These 2 tracks (E-Max, and Intoxication) were both in the compilation Cyber trance 5 that I bought when I was still a teenager, good memories... To this day, I still think Intoxication - Flight 303 is the best acid trance track of all time edit: after listening to both again, for me best acid trance track ever still belongs to E-Max - Culture of human beings (lol haha, but it is close!!) And by the way, don't forget "Synthetic progress - Acid future" released by Harthouse, a 12 minutes classic. Really good track IMO.
  5. That is a very good topic, and indeed the only I can think of are Dimension 5, even when including other projets Hunab-Ku and Electron Wave. I could also say Orichalcum, but they did not really produce a lot of tracks. And perhaps Elysium, I am not in love with everything but I think 95% of his work suits my taste. Big lover of Chi-A.D. but I can't include him, especially because of the album Eyes of Gaia, which was not terrible, but pretty average and lacking some inspiration. Pleiadians and Etnica also release a lot of disappointing stuff, the full on album 7 Sisters for example.
  6. 2 more: Shidapu - Paradise (under 5.30) and darker psy: Satori - Liquid sky (6.20).
  7. Total eclipse - Psychedelic terrorist (if you don't mind the drum n bass touch)
  8. Yes not sure why I remember perhaps because I feel a bit the same way. I prefer Syb Unity Nettwerk, but UX album remastered in 2012 has grown on me, sometimes I am up for this kind of music, so this is definitely good news.
  9. Good news! But I remember Anoebis you write a few times in the past that you did not like UX, too noisy for your taste and not your cup of tea. So am I guessing this album is more morning, different style to Ultimate experience? Are samples available anywhere?
  10. Not as enthusiastic as most members here, especially about Dancing Shiva that I find boring (I actually had to double check if I was actually playing the right track that everyone else was praising), but still the album has good moments for sure, not denying that! Maelstrom is some sick wicked stuff, this track is ridiculously GOOD (how come not released earlier??!) and certainly different to anything else released on this label.
  11. This is the version on A Blueprint for Survival. My favourite outro, but I am sure there are many more, please post some quality outro (goa, psy doesnt matter).
  12. Really excellent
  13. Technically not ambient but since I see Shpongle and Mystery of the Yeti mentioned, I have to mention Wombatmusic's album "Shameful silence", very good and certainly underrated.
  14. Elysium - Live Set (Oslo 2004). Just perfect!
  15. Probably not in the top 3 but if we are looking at the last 5 years only then I think Jikooha - Sirius rising is one of the most psychedelic. Listen to track "Mindgate to the hyperspace".
  16. Yes, the big majority of tracks in Intergalactic are psytrance, and on Synergy at least 2 tracks are, Fluoro funkster and Turn on tune in. On topic, very saddened by the news of a man leaving this world way too early. X-dream mentioned by Nemo (Radio) is one of the best psytrance albums of all time I reckon. Very well produced and a milestone in the scene.
  17. Dark Soho - Sleepwalking Not literally of course but had a very short sleep last night Great track by the way
  18. Most of ambient music has no voice, as far as i know. For example, Thom Brennan - Satori (70 minutes track), or Mathias Grassow - Bliss, just to name two, but I am pretty sure if you go through the whole Steve Roach discography (it is huge), the big majority of the music has no voice. Steve Roach - Mystic chords & sacred spaces is a great album, 4 hours long.
  19. Sandman - Tripulogic
  20. Still play this regularly! Nice polished sound great for home listening. I guess we can call this psydub. Anyway, any recommendation of similar sound would be greatly appreciated. Very rare to see the Swedish masters delivering something subpar, was certainly not the case here. Brilliant!
  21. Do you remember this track? 303 lines, happy hardcore, trance, dance vocal music, jungle... all this together in a 4 minutes track>
  22. So about this one, still no hope to ID it? It is catchy and spectacular.
  23. Very pleasant track thanks for sharing
  24. It is important to have some "Balance".
  25. How the hell did I forget this track? It is at the very top of the genre (I don't fancy this genre by the way but some tracks are exceptions and this one is a strong exception). I used to think Iridium 12.000 suns was the best downtempo goa track, but Ra - Ascend surpassed it, in my book of course even though both tracks are really different, 12.000 suns is really pure psychedelic goa, Ra - Ascend is more gentle, sweet trance, less psychedelic, magnificent nonetheless.
