not clear instructions in the op. psy isnt really fair, because of the generalising, i would most happily tell you for example Psytrance (commonly referred to Psy), Goatrance, progressive and fullon. psy way too broad. this is not a critic but i cannot answer until that is cleared up. If you do mean psy as in the psytrance style of pystrance; then i dont have any "best ones". The closest would probably be IM - BP.Empire - although thats too far into Goa, to be considered real psy. In honesty, VERY few artists make music that are just "psy" as in more cases or not - they can be anywhere from dark forest to progressive psytrance. I hope I was clear on that the question wasnt complete. By the way - how in the world would someone consider etnica and cosmosis??? etnica is (for the most part) goatrance, and their lastest albums were indeed psy, but that is STILL not a genre. Cosmosis has never produced any psy, what so ever. He has made goa, progressive, fullon. Vibrasphere for example is progressive goa and progressive psy. so asking favorite psy album i suppose you meant ALL psychedelic music and not just the "psy" style of a handful of artists. And in that regard then yes, planet ben trippy future garden comes to mind, so does Noosphere - Radiated.

treble feels better now. still lacking excitement in the top range of the spectrum. but i will give that a rest. cant wait for the gamma goblins mix and starting with space cat sounds very interesting! and if you can pepper in noosphere-carpe noctem in there, it would be for ME - something truly truly enjoyable. can also see Digital sun -into the sun make an excellent addition. Dont get me wrong, im most definately not dictating what you should do, this is just thoughts form a fans perspective, and wishes. go with your feel and chose tracks that you want, of course! just cant help to suggest some tracks, as I would LOVE to hear them coming from a dj mix from you.

custom design in what regard? as long as it is something in gold and/or platina and can be fitted in a nice glass casing - then a medal per se is probably not the best. its not like he is going to hang it round his neck, but instead on display on the mantle or whatever.

many reasons: 1. the love of psytrance 2. surprisingly alot of intelligent people here 3. people here have mostly very good taste 4. many people here are very knowledgable on the subject, whatever the subject might be 5. its fun to share favorite tracks with others and equally fun to take part in the sharing of others favorite tracks 6. its a "nerdy" thing to discuss the many subtetlies of goatrance, why one track is better than another and so forth - and that is just very entertaining. 7. the mods are great 8. i feel at home 9. i feel comfortable sharing my opinion on things even if the opinion might be strange or against the norm. i.e people will not "attack" others for having different opinions. So basically, a friendly environment. Its even better over the past years. 10. its just a special place for me in general, but thats personal and has little to do with psynews as such, but still a very strong reason as to why I, choose to be active here. Regarding the very few haters and "trolls" - its such a small percentage and its rarely even seen. And when it do happen - its always handled in a proper way. Might have been different in the past but its only the now that matters.

finished the set for the second time today, and its very good. i love how you mix the tracks in a unique way so that they sound different than the originals. but still think you cut out too much treble from the tracks, but then again, if that is an artistic direction and active choice - then i again must applaud, because like i said the way you mix the tracks (mix as in eqing) make them sound unique. regarding the actual djing - its flawless. please make more morning mixes, as the tracklist on this one was very interesting i cant wait which tracks you might choose for the next one. And if I might be so bold (and who knows, it might help you, too) try to begin the mix with gamma goblins 2 - and have that as the feel of the mix, as I can foresee you making something really epic. but of course thats just a humble suggestion from a fan. of course you will choose what you feel like.

that just goes to show that you have very high ambition and want to make the next track you make - the best youve made yet. And thats awesome. being a tough self-critic usually brings out the best in you.
