  1. great news suntrip! seems goatrance is still to hit its peak! truly awesome! what about khetzal - any news?
  2. its awesome richpa that you have expanded your creativity when making album covers. they are alot better now than previously and this is also a very good one. Imba- how do you do it? You spit out tracks in the same pace i make comments on psynews well, almost. for an artist to put out complete tracks in that pace - and STILL have the feeling that the track is indeed complete and not just a hasty project - is truly rare and very impressive. You definately hit your stride and im very proud that such a funny and active psynews member also release top notch goatrance. would be an honor to make a collaboration with you, when im on par with your skill level.
  3. he should be a member here too! its great to have artists engage in discussion on this forum. i understand they dont have much time but its a very nice addition to psynews to have such amazing artists engage in the discussion. we have alot already and more will definately not make it worse
  4. the first and second tracks are no doubt the best. alot of vibes and influences from so many artits make these two very nice tribute tracks for me. thanks ali, for these tracks!! and thanks suntrip for recognising the talent and releasing it, of course. this will of course also gain further benefits since the bar is so high now - the next filteria album whenever that might be - and jannis always tries to better himself in every album - will no doubtedly be his best album yet, too. Just have that feeling that jannis is also an artist that will continue to grow until the day he decides to stop making music. cause every album since sky input has been alot better than the previous one, and i still think he has yet to put out his best album. Khetzals next album is also something i truly look forward to, and obviously, another artifact303 album. although i think artifact303 already hit his peak if he decides to go back and make another goa album. but, who knows.

    RIP Nemo

didnt know the guy but its indeed a tragic loss from what ive learned about his involvement on this site. thanks for everything dude!
  6. Interesting, didnt realise Coke made its way to psytrance. But it doesnt surprise me if "talented" cokeheads produce psytrance. That generic sound might appeal to the high of coke. No idea never tried it. But its definetely something that indeed could have influence. Oh well. Doesnt matter. There are plenty of good psytrance to go along Just re-discovering Whizzy Noise is a real pleasure. Fractal Glider too and while Ananda Shake might be a bit cheesy at least they still have their own soundscape, while the music itself might be a bit generic. I just love the party vibe they have when performing the remix of spiritual healing on this video: the smile of the girl and her genuine dancing just makes me smile too. Also the fact that that one guy mimes the sounds with his mouth is just a telltalle sign he is really into it. Also love the way he dances ^^ too bad most of the croud sucks. but ive seen worse. Also Liquid Soul is still great. And nothing beats Neuromotor at ozora completely epic and that track is definately built for large PA speakers and for high goosebumb factor, also compltely love the croud. they are tired as fuck since its his last track but still they go like "OMG this is sooo good" dude with black shirt and dreads seems like a really awesome guy for some reason and the dude in no sheart and a cowl really has his two-step trancedance down
  7. wanna recommend heroes of the storm. Its free to play and also not pay to win. you can buy heroes and skins if you want- but there is no reason other than if you want to. there are free heroes to play and they rotate every week. you can also buy heroes with in-game gold so if you play alot you can get heroes that way. you get very little gold from games and you get gold rewards after hitting certain level. getting enough gold for a hero takes a few hours. also getting high level doesnt make your character better or adds any other benefits, other than it unlocks skins and stuff. so you can start fresh as lvl 1 and still have the same chance as everyone else. if you are serious about the game you can unlock ranked games but it wont unlock until you own 10 heroes and is level 30. all very possible with just in-game gold. i started playing yesterday and already decided to buy a hero with real money cause the hero was not in the free heroes rotation, and the hero was just too fun to pass up 10 euro well spent imo in-game gold was 15.000 for that particular hero, and that would take days to accumulate. alot of heroes are 2000 and 4000 gold though and quite fast to get. its very fun actually, even if you dont like other moba games like lol or hon. the players are generally friendly and there is very little chat overall, and most say gg after the game. in contrast to lol where spam, trolling and lots of childish behaviour is excpected. mechanics are great, and its just overall really good. getting in nice skillshots and killing blows are very rewarding and feels great. not many games feel as rewarding as this. considering the game playstyle its good that its free, cause it makes it alot more accessible to casual players who would otherwise never try it or play it if it cost money. it does however feel like a very polished game. it doesnt take long to get to know the game, and to get good at it. id say about an hour or so, and youre already comfortable with all of the gameplay. thumbs up blizzard!
  8. i saw the martian and the revenant. both great
  9. Oh - Didnt even realise Slide was not part of UX anymore. And yes, it was definately Slide that made that special sound that made UX interesting. btw whatever happened to mindfield :/ he would have been awesome, if he was making music now. My absolute favorite old school artist or in the very very top at least edit: I just realised I was refering to Mark Allen, and not mindfield per se. so it really wasnt the same thing. i had remembered mindfield to be mark allens solo project, and not a joint effort. but now i remember that i dont particularily like mark allens solo projects, so just scratch the fact i even mentioned it.
  10. I still listen to this album and discover new things. I still have 50% to go I feel like
  11. I critisize only what I love. To paraphrase the great Starkraver.
  12. who does the mastering? Nope! It was definately one of the best covers yet Im pretty sure he was refering to the fact that people claimed his initial album cover for this release was amateur. That is how I percieved it, anyway. I could be wrong.
  13. I meant tele. The 6mm jack. and yeah I can see the usage for an unbalanced mono cable I guess - although it would seem better to use a balanced cable instead, for all those purposes. and if not - ive still to know why that is.
  14. yeah i know what he meant but it sounded just incredibly childish, i had to question his sincerity.
  15. Label: Goa Madness Records* Genre: Psychedelic Trance Style: Goa Release: March 2016 Neogoa: Awesome artwork. I know ive critized you alot in the past, and it has been justified in my opinion: this one is great. I really like it. Nova Fractal is my absolute favorite Goatrance producer. His sound is often unmatched, and rivaled only by a few. The tracks often tell a detailed story - of both the artist and the creation itself. This is the best yet, from Nova Fractal. And thats not saying little! His album debut was amazing, and its filled with well placed tracks, and not a single album filler. Connect was however, my favorite track previous to this release. But this takes the price. As good whiskey ages and becomes better over time - so does natural art aswell. Music is no different. Some artist though, only decline after their debut, but Im happy to say that Nova Fractal is not one of them. He only becomes better. Mystery of Life is a hard hitting wonder. I just cant believe my ears. How does one come up with such tracks? The creativity and the talent is like I said unmatched and rivaled only by a few. The track goes into the absolute soul, and core of goatrance. It touches deep within and makes you feel true joy and love. Its such a perfect track I feel like Im struggling to find the words to explain it. The melody creation is true genious and Im marveled by the beauty. It makes me reminiss about what I love about goatrance, and I soon realise its a feeling Ive not had in a long time. And thats a shame. But it doesnt matter. All that exists now is cosmos, this track, and happiness. This track is MDMA in a song. But not even that. Its not narcotic or "druggy" its clear, clean, and truly coherent happiness, that you dont feel wierd about afterwards, but instead quite the opposite. The Wheel of Time continues where Mystery of Life leftoff. Mystery of Life opened up your mind and Wheel of Time continues to burrough down deep throughout your inner universe. The melodies in this track is amongst the best if not THE best ive heard yet. Again it amazes me to be alive at this point in time, to be able to hear this track. Its extremely rare to find such music, and I can honestly say Ive been a music fan (all genres) for almost all my life and still consider this track to be one of the best tracks there is. Not even for Psychedelic Trance but for music in general. I cannot wait to own this album and I realise the review might be a bit hasty in time, but since Ive had the pleasure of listening to Wheel Of Time for such a long time I feel confident enough to review this. And while Mystery of Life is new to me aswell, I barely had to hit play on that one to realise how good it is and that its better than anything he previously released. Im still struggling to put Wheel of Time ahead of this, or "more favorite", but Wheel of Time has without a doubt created something truly otherworldy and should be recognised as the One track of goatrance. That said, Mystery of Life is my current favorite, and listening to it on repeat for hours on end STILL makes me wanna listen to it for hours on end;) This is something spectacular, and while I was extremely happy with the latest Mindsphere album - this just completely blows everything Ive heard lately from other artists away. When I heard Feelings by Artifact303 the first time, I had a similar reaction - and have not had this reaction until Mystery of Life and of course Wheel of Time, but like I said - thats not even in the stratosphere on how good that is. Mystery of Life will steady climb the charts for me and its slowly reaching Legendary status and its not even released yet. The Ephedra remix is great, but its not unique enough to justify its own chapter in the Nova Fractal saga. It is however, a great party mix, and a more dancefloor friendly approach, to another perhaps cosmic and more profound approach, that the original brings. This is an essential piece of art, and I wont even give it a grade. 10/10 doesnt do it justice. This is better than anything. This is the very soul of Goatrance, and the absolute best.
  16. by the way, regarding christianiy: heres a mind twister: if god disapproves of gays; which some christians claim- then why did he create homosexuality? ontopic: what was the purpose of this thread other than to display your ignorance? it wasnt even funny. and believe me, im the first to appreciate a good troll but this was just bland and boring. it wasnt vulgar enough to be funny at shear face value - and it wasnt intelligent enough to be funny in a more subtle way, either. had you used the word "faggot" it could have been funnier. but probably not. also, youre about 10 years late on this particular wave of trolling.
  17. saywhat? edit: oh. got it. im slow.
  18. unreleased and secret of course! while i love it, its a shame he went that route in terms of soundscape. it sounds too generic and crisp. but i dont really mind. i will love mwnn just as dearly even if he started to put out rubbish. but thats very unlikely to happen. i also love to see him live, he is so humble!
  19. really interesting tracklist. very interesting. will have a listen in just a moment. edit: and this is why listening to something from a really good dj is fun - doesnt matter if you heard the tracks a million times; hearing them in a well put together and skillful dj set is a brand new experience. im especially looking forward to z-plane sunrise, kitchen sync, and star above parvatti. very interesting tracklist indeed!
  20. yeah i thought it already came out. and i wasnt very ecstatic over it quite honestly. same with the dimension 5 and etnica/pleiadians re-releases. etnica/pleiadians are different though, and i was ecstatic for very different reasons than just musically.
  21. the fact that you use software makes me even more impressed. that new one was wonderful too! alot of aes dana influence in the bassline, and i like it alot! also love the way you mix your percussions to sound like they are from a 808 and 909. it is indeed obvious that you didnt just start making music yesterday. really refreshing sound and ive never heard anything sound like this before, that fact alone is big enough to spark interest - but the fact that you are incredibly talented and should have a record deal makes it over the top. im just a bit angry at psynews for not appreciating this as i am 1:31 is a complete winner though. Just wow! definetely suitable for a release and a full lenght album in this style man. pursue it cause you will get it!
  22. didnt that already came out remastered? or am i confusing it with another release in any way, look forward to hearing new and unreleased stuff from ux and hopefully Slide too Alien hitmen is still one of those really good old school tracks.
