since im a cubase user for a very long time i can chime in simply by saying theres a quadrafuzzz version 2, but ofc it is not the same sound as the originial. you can still run the original as a 32bit plugin using jBridge. as far as the synthesis discussion go i wont say much, but i would be surprised if you couldnt dial in that very sound in alot of different synths? i mean even between you, you seem to not agree that it is either vb1, es-1 or anything else. seems like you can make that sound in many different synths ^^

I think thats your question pretty much? And I think its great to mix alot of different flavors within one set! Caters to different people but also brings in new energies.
