  3. Bummer! I'm guessing that you've asked Antony Koppenal already but if not, you could try writing him: http://www.frontierfonk.nl/?page_id=517
  4. Pretty cool tracklist, I don't know a lot of those so it will keep me in suspense. This is kind of off topic, but I was wondering about it... Koxbox's 'Jungle Walla' is my favorite unreleased track for years now. Since it didn't make it onto MR3, would the artist be receptive to releasing it somewhere else? Or is it destined to remain unreleased?
  5. Real cloak & dagger stuff happening on this thread
  6. Prana - Indigo (remix) has an excellent synth solo from 3:21 to 4:13. I also like the melody in Morphem - Nothing Left from 6:00 to 7:22.
  7. Fractal Vivisection is overlooked, IMHO. One of the more unique newschool artists.
  8. The Joker had always wanted to get his hands on the Batmobile, and one day he learned the location of the secret underground garage where it was parked. Naturally, the caped crusader showed up and tried to foil the theft, but Joker came prepared: releasing a swarm of biting insects, he was able to distract the Bat long enough to make his escape. Later that day, in the Joker's chop shop, he was arguing with his mechanic about the possibility of taking the Batmobile apart and reverse engineering its technology. The mechanic said that he didn't know, something this complex was above his pay grade. Joker, annoyed at the mechanic and wanting him to start work as soon as possible, replied:

  11. The deeper the better. And this is very deep ambient trance indeed. Not many hummable melodies herein, but they would be beside the point. Kohlbecker and Le Mar have always been about subtle notes and dreamlike atmospheres. It's not like the music can't be heard through, ahem, other means.
  12. Sorry, that one isn't available any more. It is a classic! I still need to really listen to their 3rd album sometime.
  13. The clips sound good but GAT DAMMIT artists need to stop using that one speech from Hellraiser. It's a cool sample, it's just been run into the ground by overuse. I'd disagree with that, but it really depends on what you define as goa.
  14. I wonder how many entries we'll see? 17 isn't a lot, but there is another 1 1/2 months to go...
  15. I like all Ankrosado tracks but this is his best one so far. It has an early Ozrics/Children of the Bong vibe that I can't get enough of.
  16. It's all part of the cosmic unconsciousness
  17. OK, hold it right there. You can't dictate how people listen to your music. You cannot. Whether people listen at home, in their car, in a warehouse, or deep in the woods is completely out of your control. You can claim "for home use only", but that rule is impossible to enforce and only serves to alienate a large part of your customers. And Youtube takedowns don't work. They only hurt the artist. Consider that I've spent thousands of dollars on music that I never would have even known about if I hadn't found it on Youtube first. I don't like piracy either, and you have every right to make a living off of your music. But you won't secure that living by threatening to sue people. Treat your audience with respect and they will respect you back. Don't, and they won't.
  18. It's like asking for psytrance without hi-hats. You might find it, but it's such a common element that if you only want 100% instrumentals this probably isn't the genre for you.
  19. Downloaded. :/ I can see VAs being difficult to master... all the tracks have to play nice with each other and not keep you reaching for the volume. But if it's going to degrade the sound quality of the tracks to the extent that the artists complain I'm not a fan.
