  1. Its crap just like Static. God knows what happened .They lost the power over the vocals which they exercised so well in non zero sumness. I always find it extremely bizarre how quality falls to such levels with bands that 'seem' to know what was it that made them click so well with the audience initially. Guess they didnt afterall .
  2. The filteria cover is out of this world!!!! loving the samples too !
  3. Nobody mentioned contact the living?
  4. Very nice compilation, true goa music straight from the heart!!!! 10/10 Highlight : Asirion!!!, i remember enjoying his track not so long ago on some other compilation, this one packs a punch as well. his production has that unique touch just like artifact303 . good stuff
  5. just thought id drop a line about the new Marcell dettman here . Very singular , minimal moody techno .
  6. +1 The classics become classics because people generally agreed with each other about how good certain acts/ tracks were because they were representative of what people came to love about goa trance from the early days but i still dont know what entails a track becoming a classic. What is the objectve criteria ? Doesnt have to fall under a particular pattern of production or is it some unwritten rule. I say this becuase the so called classic acts like Hallucinogen / Pleidians dont move me at all as opposed to less vintage magnum opus acts like Darshan , Psychaos , tandu , indoor which for some could be more classic than what is perceived to be classic today . But in the same breath I would also say - Pleidians doesn't move me at all when i hear it at home but i bet under different circumstances it would be a mind blowing experience. Its all about the experience like Proycon said
  7. wow thanks for sharing!! but no download available

  9. hey Proycon , not to mock your beliefs or anything , but how can you communicate with spirits and that too have an entire book written by a spirit through your communion with him /her .. have you done so ? what is the procedure ? is it some skill you pick up by being under training with a divine master ? to me these are subjective beliefs that people impose on themselves to be a part of some group , have a sense of belonging / comfort and have themselves believe automatically what other people talk about with authority on a particular subject could be true if you are already predisposed towards believing something of that nature. my denial also probably stems from the fact that i have never really believed anyone who says they have spoken to a spirit . you could feel them , sense them but to have an entire conversation jotted down in the form of a book ? i dunno .. hope you done take it personally. Assuming if it were true and i do believe in what you go on to say later on about having to pay our debts for which we don't really need to get in touch with the spirit world as i guess everyone at some point in time has this moment of truth since we are all spiritual beings trapped in a human dimension - its a hopeless scenario where one has to live out entire lives in misery just to pay the debts of some previous life . when does this vicious cycle end , what is the true path to salvation that precludes having to life another life of misery if the previous life didn't fulfill the desired "paying your debts objective" ? not everyone can be Buddha . aliendna99 - its a really painful world out there I agree but you have to realize/understand who you are in the given scheme of things and play out this act (life) that doesn't compound your problems even more. often that is the most difficult path/task and the unfortunate part is no one can do it for you. even your own loved ones can be harsh at times which is the last thing you want to see unfold before you. its impossible to undo the mistakes one makes in life and often one needs to atone for the sins in this life or the next. hope you are able to ride out this time by not being too harsh on your self and adjusting to the situation in the best manner possible .
  10. good post dolmot, i always wondered myself what makes an artist underrated. Where are the official ratings? Toi doi for example is discussed a lot as you rightly pointed out. overrated is easy to point out , but not underrated . Speaking of well established artists anyone that isnt spoken of enough doesnt automatically qualify as underrated objectively speaking since they could be much more popular outside psynews or are we talking psynews specific underrated ?
  11. yes ! vince is also probably one of the most genuine guys out there. back in the day he sent me a cd with all his unreleased tracks (hard to believe) just because i expressed an interest in his music on some fora. i never asked for music per say , i just said i really liked what i was hearing because it was different from what people were releasing those days. really talented and innovative artist in every sense of the term. what was amazing was i didn't need any more music for the next 3 months because it was full of electronic music covering all hues and spectrums. i cant imagine anybody going out of their way to do something like that for anyone these days . more power to the man
  12. Thinking about my best friend who has gone to Argentina to salvage his relationship of 4 years with a GF who does not love him any more. They were running a restaurant in Goa and had shut shop since the season got over. She had gone back to Argentina to visit her parents. He has lost his parents, brother is an alcoholic and the only person who matters to him doesn't care about him anymore. He spent his last dime on air tickets and is returning day-after, hopeless. She refuses to even drop him to the airport . women can be such heartless creatures, they will dump you at your weakest time. i know her , and she didn't seem like the other women who are there just for the money and the good time . Such is life.
  13. with a peculiarly long nose! would be nice to trip there on some mushies
  14. Arent hills like that everywhere ? you drive a Mercedes but seems like you dont clean it very often... not good!
  15. Ok my bad , go right ahead with the topics you want to post to make the forum interesting, dead as it is . All im saying is you need to surprise us with something new. you're getting too predictable!
  16. Radi you need to broaden your horizons beyond roads mountains and skinny chicks yo! This is probably the 10th post on how good the asphalt is and the shiny doom 3 crash barriers which you forgot to mention this time. i dunno if others here feel the same way
  17. Great choice Paul Eye !! I absolutely adore this track. Probably the most emotionally sublime , ethereal, melodious piece of music i have heard in goatrance thus far. Sadly there is no track that i have heard till now that compares or comes close to the magic post 3:00 right till the end. its like a fairy tale love story that I wished went on forever . you could give mindsphere , afgin and liquid flow a shot . not sure which tracks exactly but the sound aesthetic is more or less similar to goasia's . happy discovering
  18. That PSY dude is way too popular for us underground folks to worry about.
  19. yea scared the crap out of me too!! i could sit through the last scene of [rec] but had to switch off this one to get a breather.
  20. Not sure if he is officially releasing the music but you can check out his soundcloud : https://soundcloud.com/voyagerlab https://soundcloud.com/ocean-project
