  1. I wish he'd have kept that as the only sample in the track (and perhaps used only half of the repeats) because it actually works and goes "with the beat". The rest of the samples sound like they're just randomly dumped in there with no thought. That being said, this is definitely an upgrade from Akasha Connection (which eventually wasn't particularly good if you ask me). This is the kind of drive I expected from the first album after hearing Syslit Joint (that came out before Akasha). Now that drive is here on this album, and it's fortunately taken a turn towards the darker (although with all this "dark"psy around the expression has a bit lost its edge) which is always a plus in my book of goa trance Currently I'm leaning towards Cell Connections as being the highlight of the album, but I need to take some more listens. Unfortunately this arrived too late to be properly dancefloor tested this summer since the outside party season is basically over and I'm on a well earned break from gigging for now.
  2. What do you mean "no longer on Ektoplazm", here it is: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/kadasarva-steamagination But yeah, this is for the lack of a better expression an incredible album. Nasty, relentless, full of cybernetic mayhem, and contains absolutely no sunshine or your typical cosmic goa fluff. At least one track from this album tends to find its way into every darker goa set I play these days Absolutely 250% recommended. One of the best albums of this decade. And so on.
  3. Nope, that's actually The Lone Deranger But yeah, I've always been wondering where the basslines are on this album. I mean, I know they're there (of course) but they're like woven into the material so well that they just disappear, but still they're there doing their job Of course this doesn't apply to all the tracks (Jiggle and Gamma Goblins mainly, and Deranger to some extent have quite distinct basslines). Edit: and Snarling too, so that's the 2nd half of the album. And also, there's something going on basically all the time, constantly shifting and slipping in and out, especially all those little background layers that you might notice only after a few dozen listens
  4. 20 years later, still the best goa/psy album ever made.
  5. 1000 plays this weekend, thanks and hugs for listening
  6. There are still some clicks on Interstealer Dawn which, looking at the images on Bandcamp seems to be named Interstellar Dawn on the CD, maybe this was originally the intended title? Maybe I'm jumping the gun here. Let's see (hear) when the CD arrives.
  7. I took a quick skim through the tracks and basically only liked what I heard on the Shpongle and Dickster remixes. The rest were on a scale from meh to fail. No need to waste money on this one. I still stand by my opinion that Far Too Loud's remix of The 1st kicks the living crap out of anything on this CD. But then again, basically nobody here likes psybreaks so whatever :DD
  8. Bought it. Listening to the Bandcamp download now. Clearer sound than the original (that's a given). The only complaint I have right now is that while on the original the tracks flowed into each other, here most tracks end with a crude fadeout (which leads to some rather questionable starts on a few tracks). While not a huge failure, I still hope that this is not the case on the CD.
  9. Well this was a pleasant surprise. I'm definitely liking what I'm hearing
  10. Bought it, listened to Emtpy Branes. The intro sounds suspiciously like ...And The Day Turned To Night and while it's nothing particularly groundbreaking, it's still way better than anything on Museum Of Consciousness. Hopefully the whole album is a return to a more organic sound (Empty Branes certainly is).
  11. Well, my expectations are just about as low as they go after the disaster that was their last album. Still, for completeness sake, I'll get it anyway.
  12. Unfortunately I'm not coming this year, can't afford it
  13. You mean "this" as in "what we have today"? Because that set itself contains music from the past 15 years. And thanks, of course
  14. 2000 plays today. More hugs to everyone <3
  15. Whoa Did they get rid of the annoying clicks that plagues Interstealer Dawn on the CD?
  16. I'd take Trinodia over Filteria any day of the year.
  17. Sounds like a remix of Saiko-Pod - Magnetic Force, can't tell you anything else :/
  18. I don't even want to know what this is.
  19. Hmm. I really do hope they include this (but I doubt it).
  20. Well it's dead obvious you're doing everything you can to keep our dirty hands off you label's precious Discogs entries (and you still don't seem to grasp the fact that it's not how that site works). Don't even try to deny it, anyone can read the edit histories and figure out the rest. You've already harrassed me on Facebook about this (and even tried to bribe me with free unreleased tracks into staying off editing your label's Discogs submissions, don't even try to sugarcoat it) and now you're doing it here. What next? This still isn't Discogs, if you have a problem or question about a submission, do it there, not here. CASE CLOSED. Can we now please get back to talking about the music/release? Any further problems with me, you can always send me a PM, which I can happily ignore :DDDD
