  1. Both Iboga CDs have been taken! sorry to all who didnt get 'em
  2. Nice work! Wish I not only could do that, but also that I had pics like that to work with! (I gotta get a tripod....)
  3. Trk 2- Dreambody just began. Thanks to TranceChick (I think it was you!) who recommended this, after I mentioned that I enjoy gosub20.
  4. Only one left, and I have someone interested... VA-Psycho Cell (Discovalley) RESERVED Thanks to all who made a trade, and sorry for all who didnt!
  5. thanks Time Trap! I always wondered...
  6. look for his remix of Fluoro Neuro Sponge, its around here somewhere...
  7. well I was listening to VA-Symphony of Surgery (Cannibal Syndrome), but I accidentally ejected it.... <_< next up: VA-Frightmarez (Psybertribe) :D Oh yeah, and thanks, Nik! (if you come around here, that is.... )
  8. Do you mean Frantic Noise-The Nordland Orchestra? Frantic Noise is 1/2 of Megalopsy. Looks like you may be out of luck, it must be good because I cant find it either! Also, Megalopsy is good but not really melodic. I hear also that Xyla may have an album soon!!!! Xyla has some of the darkest trance Ive ever heard, and not in the "ooh Im a black metal head, I ate my drummer" sort of way. Her stuff is also very melodic, darkly melodic.
  9. ooh, SummerTime!!! goes sSO well with the music Im hearing right now (Protoculture)!! Great work!
  10. Protoculture-Sweet Fine Crystalline (Circadians 2006) love it or hate it... I love it. but thats me.
  11. well I think it all goes perfect with weed, usually this is the only thing I do at parties. For acid: FRACTAL COWBOYS. Seriously. Saw them last June on 3 REALLY good liquid hits... I couldnt even stand up, it was so trippy, and my tent was right in line with the stage monitors so I got to hear all the madness just fine. Definitely my most intense LSD experience! Thanks a lot, Dylan and Quasar! Mushrooms: Ate a ton at Symbiosis, tried to enjoy the trance but it wasnt the best thing for my state... For mushrooms its gotta be atmospheric and chilled. Shulman, Bluetech, stuff like that. E: Protoculture, saw his live at Symbiosis, didnt take any pills but its definitely what Id like to hear when rolllin... 2C-I: Tshitraka Project 2005, MDMA+Absinthe+2C-I= dragons flowing from the top of the tent as the psychedelic madness flies over me (I think it was some kind of fullon, late/early in the night/morning...) On a combination of E and LSD, I heard Bamboo forest-Tristeza, and it was just amazing... But, at parties I dont like to get so fuckered I cant function, usually just weed and beer or wine for me. I prefer to take psychedelics in a comfy, cozy, personal space without a ton of fuckered up people all over. I get scared sometimes, seeing people going gagagaga on E, I get this "Oh fuck the world is completely fucked, we all took too much and none of us are ever coming back" feeling...
  12. Cosmo-Killer Stuff (Gravity-Insomnia 2006) lots of people dont like Cosmo's glitchy ba bada ghdgh boom boom badabada style, but I dig it. Its fun, tongue in cheek, humourous!
  13. Tikal-Trigon (Beat-Ific-Spirit Zone) Polaris-Music Vibration (CaCuBo-Solarsiv) 4 Winds Circle-Feedback Decoded (Love Sound Devotion-Spirit Zone) Skulptor vs Spectral Skunk-Anticlockwise (Universe-Mandala) Penta-Looking Good (Acidsport-Vertigo) Desert Dwellers-Higher Sensory Perception (remix) (Geospirit 1: Virtual Vortex-Geomagnetic.tv) thats a few of them! ;)
  14. Tetraktys-Interstellar Overdrive (Motion Remix)  (laughing in pure happiness! )
  15. It always seemed to me that Horror Place is more cartoon-horror-trippy, while the rest of his projects are just cartoon-trippy, but thats me... Saw Horror Place live, and it wasnt bad. His style of bassline can get old for me pretty quick... Also check out KukuRuku, a join with Stranger, who adds a bit of depth IMO. Some of my favorite Zik tracks: Zik vs Stranger vs Kindzadza-Tris Treloi (Kindzadza and Friends-13 Dimension Connection-Insomnia) Zik vs Orestis-Crackle Circles (Generator Operator Destroyer-Temple Twister) Horror Place-Buttered Toast (Hobyah-Insomnia) best track on the album IMO. I agree that most of his projects sound very similar. He definitely does his own thing! Lots of really good stuff in this style coming from Greece these days. If you like Zik, try Metallaxis, Stranger, Claw, Cymazz, Orestis, Polyphonia, hell just go and get VA-Greekedelia (Noize Conspiracy), I guarantee its worth it!
  16. Psytrance is far from ruined for me. What does make me sad, however, is all the people who claim that anything released after 2001 is automatically dogshit. I can understand, you have your opinions. I respect that! I would appreciate it if the sentiment was returned. I can find something to enjoy in pretty much anything at all. Its all in your attitude! If you listen to a track and all you think about, before and during, is "This stuff isnt as good as this other stuff...", you really need to open your mind a bit more and listen without expectations, without any prejudices. Let each song make its own impression, without comparing it. Also, its funny to me to hear people call certain labels "commercial" (I heard someone say that about Iboga...). It may be common where you're from but where I live, its not very common at all. Its funny to me to hear people talking about what I would call commercial American artists as if they were intelligent and little known (no specifics...) when over here its chav music. Same thing! THat doesnt mean its commercial, just popular in a certain area, usually by virtue of never touring outside that region. And one last thing: Your scene in your country may be full of djs playing favorites, crap push-button-and-forget lives, and scummy chavs all over the place, but Ive never even seen such things at parties in the US (I did in Germany though, the chavs, not the poser lives and crap djs). I hear people describe what "the good old days" were like (usually in a lamenting tone), and I think, wow, thats what its like over here! Well, not everywhere, down in LA Ive seen some pretty shady individuals at psytrance parties, but only a handful, and they werent that bad, just a bunch of macho gay dudes... And too, I havent seen all the different and diverse scenes across the country. But I can say with confidence that the scenes here are far from dead, and far from scummy. You wanna see scummy, you should come to some of the raves around here... Full of wannabe hardass gangstas starting stupid fights, spraying pepper spray, getting way WAY too fuckered on E and various other drugs and boozes, generally making large and obtrusive asses of themselves. Im going to be throwing parties in the area this summer and one of the things Im dreading is that these chavs will find out about them...
  17. quite a collection of tracks! diverse! Cant d/l at the moment (satellite uplink costs 10c a meg, and its the work connex...) Will give it a listen soon, however!
  18. I prefer unmixed, so I can mix it myself! But its also nice to hear what other djs like to do, and get ideas. Sometimes its nice too to be able to throw on a cd-quality mix and relax without having to do all the work myself... Mp3 mixes online are nice but nothing beats a studio recording.
  19. Baphomet Engine-Superputrefaction (NAbi 2006) I know a lot of people have trouble appreciating such releases, but IMO, for this style, this is some seriously good stuff.
