  1. KinDzaDza-Water Memory (Tempus Viator-Tantrumm) He just keeps gettin better and better. Much more mature sounds lately! Way to go Leo! THis song reminds me of the style of Ritm Corr, though this one is much better IMO, Ritm Corr was a bit chaotic, and a bit glitch-heavy for me. Tantrumm releases are pretty quiet too.
  2. Yeah Vertigo cds are always this way, easy fix, just up the trim on the mixer, or crank it on the stereo. Im not sure its mastering per se, maybe just master gain, everything else seems to sound fine. I know what unmastered stuff sounds like, I make it all the time . Insomnia seems to have the same problem. Maybe its something to do with Russia... Night Tribe is a good release, no matter how quiet it happens to be. right now Im listening to Jaia-People Speakers from Akropolis Avenue on Moonflower recs.
  3. THe Nommos-Idee Noire (Vertigo-The Night Tribe) thumpa thumpa...
  4. no scratching with the cdj-100. Are you playing psytrance? Ive never heard a psy dj scratching... I dont think it would sound too bad, tho, done right. Id recommend the Pioneers of whatever model you can afford. THe cdj-800 has nearly the same stuff as the cdj-1000 for less money. The cdj-100 is all you need, though, its pretty minimal but it does the job well, reads scratched stuff, and won't skip. Im happy with mine! $450USD on ebay, 2 cdjs and a mixer with a case. Im sure you can find something similar.
  5. anyone have a lineup for this party? Im just curious who I saw and who I didnt, I was pretty n00b back then. And pretty out of it from bumming around Germany. And... well, stuff...
  6. no copyright applies. Thats all you need to know. Im sure those samples have been used in many things since 1969. So, if NASA had wanted to sue anyone it probably would have already happened. I dont think theres any intellectual property there anyway. keep looking, keep searching. It takes a while to build a good collection, but once you do, the possibilities, oh the possibilites...
  7. well I was bored when I saw Hallucinogen. And bored when he played a Shpongle dj set. And you, Radi, have never seen me live so how can you know Im boring? Im not being rude, simply stating my opinion formed from experience.
  8. Perfect Stranger-Dr Feelgood (Learning = Change-Iboga 2006) KIlllar... wait a min.... Smoooooooov.... Like a ninja creeping around the disco.

the thought of putting in and taking out earbuds while mixing... sorta like a gangbang for the ears...
  10. now its perfect stranger-dr feelgood (iboga) Another
  11. www.wirikuta.at has some strange "dark" ambient, sorta industrial stuff.
  12. cds for me. Vinyl would be nice but heavy. Plus turntables are more expensive than nice cdj's. Digital downloads only if its lossless. But, as was mentioned, those damn things are so easy to just erase by accident. I love to show support for the labels I feel release the best stuff, no better way than to buy it! Plus with cds you get the little extras that only come in the cd case; artwork, stickers, etc. Too bad cds are plastic made from hydrocarbons. BUT! Whatever can be made from a hydrocarbon, can be made from a carbohydrate! Corn-oil cds? Yes please!
  13. Emok-Da Shizzy (Dawn-Summer Collection vol 2- Iboga)

  16. HAH! yeah, and the original Mortal Kombat song was freakin hilarious as well!
  17. yeah, but it still sends a chill down my spine to hear it so loud... Love the song though.
  18. Im listening to a mix I made to listen to at work, and guess where I am... tracklist Bluetech and Shulman-Midnight Bloom (Aleph Zero) Behind Blue Eyes-The Epitome (Iboga) Ticon-Rip It Up (Digital Structures) Jaia-Rouge Marine (Digital Structures) Electrypnose-Bzoum (Ajana) Alien Mental-Mental Blues (Dropout) Tetraktys-Interstellar Overdrive [Motion rmx] (Groove Zone) Antix-Quiet is the New Loud (Iboga) Liquid Soul-I get a rush (Iboga) Ryan Halifax-Give and Get (Tribal Vision) Liquid Soul-Tagtraum (Iboga) Triac-Concrete Waves (Ear Peaks) A mix of progressive and chill/ambient/downtempo, with Triac thrown on the end just for the love of techtrance. Liquid Soul-I Get A Rush just started... BA boodoot doot BA boodoot doot ....
  19. I get pretty much whatever I like. Which happens to be a lot of Russian, Greek, and American darkpsy, Danish, German, Swedish, Australian progressive, South African and Australian fullon. Especially progessive these days. Im a lover of the oldschool trance, sometimes even the cheesy stuff. Sorry but I cant help liking what I like ! And I also get psy-chill/ambient, and techtrance from Kino Oko to Triac (I agree there should be more techtrance, and if its not psychedelic, well, if its good, its good!)
