  1. strong coffee and gabber!
  2. its all just a form of electronic music.. this is real donkey trance:
  3. yes and as you put it yourself you were foolish to do it that way so i gave you a suggestion of a different method...
  4. lol on topic: why dont you key tracks with a normal sounding preset from a vst and your midi keyboard if you have one? probably takes just as much time.
  5. how much do you need? maybe we can all put in a few bucks to keep it running.. on the other hand i wouldnt mind a few banners by psy related ads... otherwise i prefer to pay..
  6. there is a few topics about free vsts here.. do a little search and you ll find. lots to choose from and play around with. good luck!
  7. of course there is nice fullon and i have definitly found some. I am just talking about the general direction. Not individual acts. More and more fullon releases seem to be heading for the tiesto trance/ hardtrance cheese direction soundwise. We have already had infected on a commercial festival here. Just wondering when the others will break through. When you ll hear a paul van dyk playing a perplex track fe..
  8. is fullon getting lots and lots cheesier (eurotrancier) than before lately? or is it just me?
  9. an awful lot of dutchies in there to be ashamed of too
  10. just raise the tempo a little after you have made a mix. Could be done in a break but that is not necesarry if you do it slowly. 1 bpm difference doesnt have to be heard.
  11. hypersonic has to be the winner... i was a fan of the psydrop stuff... but hypersonic just struck the wrong cord at the wrong time at the wrong place.. man what a horrible cheesy bunch of droppings.. UNBELIEVABLE and i dont like being negative............ (just cant resist here)
  12. haha man you need to get some reading lessons (no offence)... VA downbeat liquid --> kumharas 4 (not sure if this was 2006 or 2007) --> va - midnight soul dive (not that great though)--> but thnx for the effort! :clapping:
  13. thnx for the recommendations but some of you have to start reading better midnight soul dive was decent. but not above average imho same goes for khooman, tajmahal circus, nagual sound experiment, sync 24 will check out cosmik chill orange already have or will get downbeat liquid asura evan marc/ emotion ecology chiller vol 1 sundial aeon apotheosis
  14. did anybody hear some good recent chill out? say last 6 months? i have checked alot of albums and most are horribly boring. Standard emotionless albums.. (not talking about the younger brother) Any recommendations would be appreciated. thnx!
  15. just got a tc electronic konnekt 8. Working like a charm after shit and shiiiiitloads of problems with m- audio audiophile usb 2496.. Also got a new pc.. Quadcoreee :clapping: Now i need to get my powercore fixed a new midi keybored and possible a new synth.. but thats for next year somewhere.. some tunes need to be made first.
  16. could you add prices please?
  17. i prefer musicalitly above sound quality. its like a tristan vs standard fullon album. I'd dance my ass off on a set by tristan which isnt very well produced (last album for example) but it will definitly make me dance. On the other hand i 'd go fetch some beers if it is another well produced but musically boring fullon act. would be great if both are excellent And some level of prod quality is necesarry to get released... edit: @Drew05 the post production is usually not in the hands of the producer/ musician so he or she cant change a thing about that. the learning curve now is already alot shorter than it used to be. You only need a pc now to produce music. No more need to understand midi etc. You only need to understand cubase and use the presets of your friends...
  18. if you look at psyshop you ll see fullon releases being many many more than prog. There might even be more chill out releases than prog. Also in line ups here (Western europe) you ll def find more fullon than prog.
  19. he must be gay.. he even has naked men on his cd cover: and he is holding a big ass dildo! on a more serious note: good (and famous) dj's usually have the next aspects: 1) good musical choices 2) good technique 3) charisma 1) the style of music he plays is purely a matter of opinion. Cant argue about that. 2) his mixing is shite. so on this matter he seriously sucks and doesnt qualify for being a good dj. 3) appearently he has some charisma. havent properly seen one of his sets so i dont know. Although his ego seems a little too big (based on rumours and gossip). That sums up he doesnt really qualify for being a good dj. Sure you can argue whether these are truely aspects of a good dj or not. But i think they are valid. All in all: if people like his sets let them enjoy it. I for sure will not make any efforts to go and see him.
  20. isnt it? would very much like to see more prog and fullon stuff there.. its only dark recently
  21. i disagree. its not the best compilation ever. But there is definitly some tracks that rock. the jey n ex track is nice. They have made better tracks imho but its surely not boring. the odiseo track has a very nice vocal sample. I dont like vocals but this one is good. Besides the sample is just funks. And funk is one of the main ingredients of the echotek track. Pretty sure i ll be using that track in one of my sets. flowjob track in the end is a pretty good track as well. Ok its not an earthshatering compilation. but its worth the dough. Pretty glad there is still people making an effort to release music :clapping:
  22. Maybe its the same composer? Did you check who made the reason track?
  23. ok.. response: dont like it much to be honest. you played too much with the color settings so she shapes of the objects change and the contrast becomes too big. You can see the edges of the girl fe. Its a little too 90's for me. Doesnt look like its been slaved over at all imho. The other fractalish pics are nice but not very special. I do like the second one but it is definitly not a finished picture yet.. It needs more things to make it interesting. Dont let me pull you down, i am just one opinion Maybe check out psygarden for some inspiration and tips. Good luck!
  24. defenitly one of the best ambient labels out there.. dont buy the releases blind. But almost.. I got about 10 of their releases for the shop i am working at. They look damn good in a cd rack all next to each other. Defenitly different than the rest. Good stuff! and nice people.
