  1. Its growing on me more and more with every listen...I can tell its one of those cds that won't leave my cd player and that i'll listen to over and over and over to. Intelligent psychedelic trance music at its best. He was supposed to play a live set in nyc this past weekend after me, but the cops shut the party down in the middle of my set, so he ended up playing his live at a small afterparty to about 25 of us. It was amazing. A very nice guy as well, he introduced me to a lot of electro/minimal techno I had never heard before (this is what he usually djs).
  2. I'm loving the cover art...I'm loving the track listing... Awesome job Jesse! Can't wait to hear it!!
  3. ok...bumping this topic up to the top again to see if there are any new recomendations......
  4. It was futile for me to try to out-cheese him. so i tried to de-cheese him with a voice of cod track, but it was useless. sadly i lost the fight, and returned to my room
  5. Some israeli dude from brazil is spinning in my living room. I was playing vs. with him but then I ran out of tracks and my head started hurting from his cheesy full on so i came back here to go to bed.
  6. if you looking for another dj to do a mix of the tracks...let me know
  7. This just made my day!!! Very good news indeed cell..huvanetwork..sync24...aesdana...solarfields...holbaumann... etc etc etc ... :)
  8. I think the old is good...I think the new is good...His live sets made me dance in 2004, they still make me dance just as much now...the older stuff is quite different from the newer stuff, so yes, maybe he doesn't quite fit into the "better and better" category...but then, I'm totally biased
  9. A few names mentioned that I agree with... -Kindzadza -Tegma -Electrypnose -OOOD -Artifakt Add to that list -Talpa -Gappeq -Onnomon -Penta -Grapes of Wrath/Syntax Error -Pondscum -Neuron Compost A while back I would have also mentioned Sun Control Species, but sadly, he's fallen into the Iboga black hole...he's still making good music, its just not as unique as it used to be sadly... Also, old ticon definately beats new ticon...unless you like that whole electroish vibe...I really liked the old ticon 12" with the blue cover, maybe has a drum on the cover..don't remember...but now if we're talking Ticon Track names, well, those of course just keep getting better and better... /coffee rant
  10. 2005 Eclipse Festival you mean...he definately didn't play in 2006...
  11. I heard the album in its entirety on friday...and bits and pieces of it again on saturday...I promise you, it will be well worth the long wait.
  12. And what are the odds of you guys taking a side trip from the Europe visit to come play a few gigs in North America? I am totally in love with this album......
  13. yup. that's the livest i've ever seen. Psysex, DarkSoho, and Son Kite are worth mentioning as well....
  14. + Annarchy Kaliflower *Christine*
  15. please post the video to this thread when you do!
  16. maybe not so much progress, but definately more of refining the same
  17. I dunno....I really do listen to this cd every day.... It's *that* good.
  18. I was just listening to 'The Chase' last night...one of my favorite proggy tracks. Saw them play live in nyc a few years ago...Antix makes some of the most hypnotic trance music around...I still haven't given Twin Coast Discovery much of a listen...i'm not so much into the proggy house thing (except on a sunday morning dancefloor in the rain). But for sure its all about tracks like 'Bad Behind', "Wanna Be', 'Drift', 'Flipped'.....
  19. AHA! This peaked my curiousity the other day...but I have not given the samples a listen yet....is this chillout or progressive or a bit of both? (I'm doing major catch-up myself on the progressive releases of the past two years right now.... )
  20. Agreed. But the music is some of the best progressive I've heard in AGES...that its very easy to overlook. And besides its such a relief to me to hear some proggy stuff that's not sampling "All I really want is you....don't tell me what i gotta do....etc etc etc...." or some similarly lame female vocal line....
  21. wow...cool idea to do with all your pictures...looks nice
  22. not like i haven't already mentioned this in another thread....but... Tetrameth- Psychological Pyrotechnics (Zenon) (yes I'm listening to this NON STOP for the past few days...) Triac - Mean Between (Ear Peaks) Mantrix- Universal (Sub) Loopus in Fabula - Fat Ladies Bingo (Fabula)
  23. yes, I agree...Also, if you haven't already, you should check out the Ololiuqui Rmx of Segment- We Sold Our Souls on va- A Day After on ZMA (this was probably my favorite prog compilation to be released in 2004
