  1. KIIIIIIILLLLLLAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHH "Best guitar album of the year." You heard it here first folks.
  2. Definitely a great oldschool track. So so much going on there. Not three layer bean dip that makes you fart.
  3. Ah ha ha ha... it sounds sooooo BAD. How can they release this? This is truely pathetic.
  4. Wow. He took so long because he was perfecting it apparently.
  5. I remember thinking Trust in Trance was very psychedelic at the time...
  6. I think they should try something new. Perhaps it can't be done after all these years? The new album will likely have the fullon baseline which is sad. Their old releases had such great melodic energy. Often imitated, rarely, if ever, duplicated. They have such great talent and experience. I would love to see them make a chill out album or a melodic progressive album... or whatever.
  7. Just randomly checked the Saikosounds homepage. Scanning scanning... oh look some more full-on, oh I see pongle finally released another one, oh look some weird obscure flash in the pan label released some poo, more full-on... wait! What's that? Jaia? ... JAIA!!! :-) :-) Listening to samples right now. Guess it's time for another order. Very cool. I'm really into this kind of sound these days. So much more refreshing and mature sounding. Kinda a bit like the latest Antix. Anyway. Sounds super.
  8. Yes poonokol used to be a great label with great artists and great compilations. So so so sad. I don't even bother listening to the samples for their releases anymore. Just shit. Pure shit. Maybe this stuff sells in Israel?
  9. Shpongle. Good, but soooo over rated.
  10. 1) Nano 2) Dragonfly No clear third choice for me...
  11. Tandu - New Aura <---- great oldschool track, perhaps my fav. with a starwars sample. You would think there would be bunch of cool starwars samples in really awesome songs, but I just don't think there are that many (well few really well know ones). Perhaps it's too obvious. Back in the day, there were many Dune samples, and more recently, there were so many Matrix samples. Start this thread: tell me all the tracks with Matrix samples. Would go on forever

I could not say it better. The results of this poll are conclusive.
  13. "Must hear Killaar. Need full on now."
  14. Hippie: Excellent review man. Your passion for the album really shines through. As for me, I listened to the samples and was very impressed. Can't wait for my copy to arrive. This style is what moves me lately. So much fresher than all that music with that baseline. Where do they get that baseline from anyway? Do you get one with each BigMac you buy or something? La di da...
  15. I would mostly agree with this. My rating would be: 9 10 7.5 6.5 Hmmm.... not hyped about this at all. Wish I could be. The samples don't inspire... me.
  16. True. Not highly psychedelic or minutely detailed, but very smooth. Pure beautiful flowing progressive with just the right touch of energy. Super. Two thumbs way up.

I agree... Too each their own, I suppose though. Those Yotopia - Point Blank samples sound goooood.
  18. Never been a big fan to honest. Melodies are too obvious and the samples are... lame and irritating. Yet you can see the potential. Almost like they are so close to a masterpiece album, but not yet there. Those remixes might be good though! I like all the artists mentioned above. The combo could produce just the right mix. I will check the samples for sure... whenever that is available?
  19. My vote goes for Freq, but there are many other goodies on your list basi. A much better list that the other.
  20. My vote goes to: Freq - Strange Attractors How did you come up with that list?!
