He only ever had 1.5 good albums. I didn't need to listen to the samples to know it was dreadful, but I did anyway. Horrible. A disgrace.

Hey... was browsing Saikosounds... and found: http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display...ase.asp?id=6384 Prosect is one of the artists behind it and the samples sound pretty good. Not your usual full on crap and sounds melodic. Anyone have this? Would you reccomend it?

Well, have had this for a while now. Like many, after SA, expectations were very high and I straight up ordered this without even listening and that is very very rare for me these days. My thoughts are that it has a different overall feel but the quality if there. No doubt about it. SA had a way of having a huge impact in a very subtle building sort of way. This album is a bit more psy and bit less prog??? Something like that. Great dance music. Very smooth. Beautiful production. Crisp. Bright. Groovy. Fucking wicked. My one and only issue (and this is being very nit picky) is that every track does not move me deeply (SA was that good). But this is still solid. No regrets and my respect goes to Freq. Keep up the good work. Don't rush the next one and make it just as good. :-) P.S. relaxing right now on a Friday night with a cold beer listening to track 7 right now. Awwwwwwwesome!

Transwave - Helium... classic. Pure gold. If it was $50 or less the I'd say it was worth it.

This album is pure magic. People can fly!!!

I thought their last one was bland. Underworked. Lacking spark. This one I got for old times sake with no expecations. I was pleasantly surprised. Over the last while, I have grown to like elements of the newer styles but mixed with tweaked out effects. Now to be fair, this album treads dangerously close to that Israeli fullon line in parts, but it still has a little something more in my opinion. Overall, I quite liked it. A good blend of some full on elements but with a bit of oldschool touch to it. I imagine that certain tracks would go over well as parties too. I give this one a solid 7.5 (maybe 8?) out of 10. No regrets on buying it.

Expectations were high for this one. You could sense in some of his more recent singles that he was losing a bit of inspiration. This album confirms that. Nothing new here, but, I don't regret getting it. Nice for home listening when you're in the mood for something light and not that challenging. If you liked his first and are looking for more of the same, this is a pretty good bet.

I am just listening to the samples. Sounds interesting but not very psy. Might get it... might not. I'd like to see some reviews first.

Thanks Israel for confirming that all your established psytrance artists suck ass. In the rest of the world, we were wondering, but now we know. They all want to be pop stars. They all want to be a crisper version of the shitty new IM sound. Buy this now.

Blue Energy is an untouchable classic. I listened to this again a few weeks ago right through in a dark room and was (as usual) blown away. The new album is half of the old Jaia and it is different. I thank god he wasn't corrupted by the cheesy gay full on wave coming out of Israel and South America these days. If he had to be influenced by a new sound, let it be prog, and it was. This album is still awesome for me. It's not psy, but it has enough complex elements, that I can still appreicate it. Solid release. Well worth the money spent, which is hard for me to say these days. I give it 8.789 out of 10.

Mid range standard issue stuff here. I love certain Logic Bomb tracks and this just doesn't touch the magic those two can create. It doesn't make my ears bleed but it's not inspirational either. My fav track is the last one. Otherwise... I give it 6 to 7 out of 10.

This album indeed skates very close to the cheese barrier in places. The tracks combine elements of this with the now standard issue smooth prog sound. The results work sometimes but not always. I got this based on samples and some of the more positive reviews above with hopes that it would be good. It's allright but nothing I'm compelled to pull out and listen to often. I think I'll sell it if I ever get the time to put a bunch of stuff on Ebay. As a DJ tool... maybe. I'm not qualified to judge on this point. For home listening... not outstanding but listenable. 5.5 to 6 out of 10

I must agree with the comments above. Really smooth album with great power. Not much hype around this though? Actually, the comment above about Silicon Sound - Pure Analog is what made me check this out. I got it and can't say I'm dissappointed with any tracks. It's all good. A great album to listen to start to finish. In my opinion, it's not like Silicon Sound, but if you like that sound, then you'll probably like this, if that makes sense.

He has many great old singles. His best album has to be Moment of Truth, followed by Teleportation, which is not a pure album really, more a collection of his songs, but very good.

Exactly. If you show up to a psytrance party in a track suit and try to intimidate everyone... people won't be impressed. Hell, people probably won't even notice.

A mix of very different bands. Could have worked I guess if you had good DJ's that could make the tranisition between styles, but it doesn't sound like you got that. Too bad. Still, I'd like to see Son Kite live one day.

I never got it. The samples made it sound like an aggressive attempt to recreate something I never really cared for --> the Gathering. In my HO, totally completely overrated.
