Progressive: Iono Music Goa: Suntrip Records

Yes, we heard about him first in the autumn 2013 I think, thanks to his Petalic Vibes Remix. And he made a break through in 2014. He's going to improve on mixing, that's always a difficult issue for those artists who have a lot of layers and screaming sounds (remember Filteria 10 years ago ?)

It's a good album, full of ideas, very psychedelic.

Exactly 15 years ago, Children, young frenchman started goatrance.free.fr, which later became Psynews! For those who didn't know, it aimed at replacing a failing UK website called "TRiP" which was focused on reviewing Goa Trance music releases, on CD and vinyl. A group of enthusiasts from all over the world quickly joined Children and brought their own tributes by reviewing their own albums. A few months later, goatrance.free.fr got its own domain and became Psynews.org. You can check the full Psynews history. After lots of adventures, Psynews is still there, some of its early contributors are still very active in the scene. Thanks all for your support!

I searched in my archives, and all I have is a book about trance music production... I find a lot of so-called esoteric videos though. What comes to mind first and is pretty close to what you're lookign for is the Goa 20 years book which exists in German an English. http://www.goabook.net/ https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/60389-goa-20-years-of-psychedelic-trance/

I don't pay attenton usually, as long as it makes me move, but I checked your examples and that's right: if you want people on the dancefloor to look like Indians circling around a totem, that's THE bass to use! It gives crazy feelings

Yes that's because the [media] youtube links are rewritten with a static scheme (http) whereas the rest has become https. So browsers complain about "unsafe content". There's 2 solutions: - either update the content rewriting rules with https (I'll do what is possible) <= Edit: it was possible but I need to rebuild all the posts now - or ask your browser to display "unsafe content" on psynews (on Chrome, use the little shield on the right of the address bar).

They do have nice releases. But I don't think they ever produced any Daniel Lesden stuff.

How does psytrance music explore the notion of Space?
mars replied to spoke's topic in General Psytrance
Hallucinogen's Twisted album, even though one might argue that it's the exploration of the mind -
You know I hate full on, and yet I own this ablum. It's pretty intelligent for some fullon music and enjoyable, with a notable effort on melodies. Much better than the previous album by the same artist. I like it. Let's say, that in the ultra-stereotyped-and-not-so-well-produced fullon landscape at the time, it sounded rather fresh. So, imo it's must-have for fullon lovers and an interesting experience for those digging into psytrance archives 7/10

Yes, they're preparing v4, I have access to test boards, it's looking good. But as usual I'll wait till other forums have suffered from the shitty migration issues and bugs.
-
That's indeed superb music, but I didn't know they'd released a second album, where did you find it? (ooooh I see, it's on ru*****er.org)
-
None, really. Noone who partied around the 2002-2006 period can like him.

As someone pointed out, even when surfing on the forum via https, some parts of the board were falling back to plain http (eg messaging). We can switch IPB to https by default but then you have to always connect via https or you'll have issues with accessing messaging, and so on...which is not good when you're surfing from bookmarked pages (and don't really care about https anyway). Our board, IPB is not the best when it comes to SSL. We'll see how it improves with the forthcoming v4. In the meantime, I've forced the use of https throughout the board for everyone. If you request any (even bookmarked) page via http, it'll automatically redirect to the same page in https. If you don't undertsand this post, nevermind, just enjoy surfing on psynews in a secure way

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StartCom#Limitations_of_StartSSL_Free http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StartCom#Response_to_heartbleed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StartCom#Criticism Interesting, but as usual I'm more concerned about having a reliable service than a free service, for, time is more vluable than anything else.

Yeah, that would be much welcome!
