  1. I used to study while listening to goatrance. That was kind of easier to memorize some things.
  2. It's not my site, I handed it over 5 years ago. OK it was not BS, it was verbiage.
  3. Please someone knock this BS down.
  4. Mine used to be around 11K€, but I have sold 2/3 of it now (for ~7000€, so the estimate was accurate).
  5. Raising hand too ! 39 years old, French, into the scene for 21 years, on psynews for 16 years, and naturally severely grumpy. Besides Goatrance, I think there has been a bunch of good FullOn (eg Xerox, XI) and Progressive (Symphonix, Suntree, Ovnimoon...check IONO records) albums in the past years. Ambient too (Ultimae records). Though I believe the level has decreased in the past 3 years due (imo) to more time spend by artists on facebook and less in front of their machines...
  6. ...NOT. He has another account with zero messages, so that doesn't count. 137 messages with this account with one single IP. No VPN here, it's legit. Not everyone is looking for undue fame.
  7. Right, there's similarities. Well spotted.
  8. Anything by Alien Project, Safi Connection, Atomic Pulse and Astrix. The very music that made parties very very annoying back in 2002-2005
  9. Before anyone else notices... Crossing Mind - Beyond Duality - SUNCD42 - Sep 2016 http://bit.ly/SUNCD42CD RA - Earthcall - SUNCD43 - Oct 2016 http://bit.ly/SUNCD43CD I'm about to send both to the mastering
  10. For lyrics, you have to try Infected Mushroom. Anything since 2003.
  11. Since I've had a kid, I listen mostly with headphones. But decent ones (AKG K240 MK2 at home / Creative Labs Aurvana In-Ear 3+ at work). Before that I was listening on an equally decent hifi system (Cambridge amplifier + my good old Jamo loudspeakers). Nothing too expensive because like everyone else here my audition isn't mint, but decent and not bassy (or it hurts after a few hours). I miss using the hifi system BADLY. Sometimes a track is good at the vibrations it gives and headphones, now matter how good they are, can give you the feeling. IMO that's the way to go for "curation".
  12. By the way, Merr0w wrote me, he completed his studio setup in his new appartment and has already sent me a new very good track called Odysseus !!! He wants to change the album name too, and make it eponymous.
  13. So, "Will there ever be a successor to Apsara ?" What is that supposed to mean? Both on the first and on the second level... This is naive at best...unless this is plain crafty. Aaah Ward, how to tell you ? Let's assume I didn't write the above post. Works of art are like a kaledidoscope over the world. You're looking at one point in a system you don't really undertsand and can't control, on which you have no idea how the people will react. One second passes, one degree shift, and the image you're looking at has completely changed. But you might still be pleased at it. Others might not. Or might?! Trying to recreate a past image is vain. Would you suceed, you have no guarantee your audience would like it to the extent of the effort you put into it. My favorite Suntrip comp is Temple of Chaos (note: this statement may change over time). Did I ever think of making another one like that? No, didn't even think about it once. Because the kaleidoscope rolls. We go with the flow. Artists lead the show. We are like photographers, we take a snapshot WHEN we can, IF we can. And in the end our job is similar to devloping the photograph under the red light.
  14. Ward, we caught you red handed, we have written evidence you slandered about us on our backs. Repeteadly. We had a talk about it, you and me, in 2014, remember? You didn't even deny it. There's been so much mud spilled that other people like Psychedelic Alien have noticed. So please stop making a fool of yourself with your smileys and have the decency to keep a low profile on this. Before you start denying/arguing/whatever, remember: we never tried to do any wrong to you. Because after all you do release Goa music...and at this point I know I'll never be tired to say we are more powerful for our cause altogether.
  15. Go and check here : http://www.suntriprecords.com/releases/ But right, Nova Fractal, Somnesia, PharaOm, Space Elves, and a lot of other balkan artists are also worth listening.
  16. There is http://www.di.fm/
  17. That's exactly how I would have worded this review. A tremendous album!
  18. Or directly contact Hector Stuardo Ovnimoon on FB.
  19. Well, the conditions weren't met to make music in decent conditions. He's was living in a 25 sq meter appartment with his wife, baby and studio. Though we had updates once in a while. Tracks were being reworked, chopped, rebuilt, reorganized... Now they just moved to a bigger place and we can expect more regular updates and improved psychedelia thanks to a more peaceful environment. So, no ETA at the moment, but this is becoming very positive.
  20. Nah. No need for that, really. And the scene needs you by all means necessary. Initiatives from everywhere in the world are necessary. It's clear the Croatian scene has spared no effort already. Be sure there's no forgetting that. Over Facebook I told you this story of the interview of the CEO of my "daytime" company. Things don't always add up perfectly to fulfil everyone. We don't have/need a PR dept and I am still convinced our Goa world is better with this interview than without. You know I don't get out often because I can get tired very fast, but this summer I'll be out. We'll have great opportunities to promote the music we love. As far as I'm concerned, I'll try to prepare some keywords and some speech, so the appropriate good words are sent in every direction.
  21. Exactly. But let me tell you something: at the Connection festival last year, Anoebis and I were staying at the far end of the camping area. On the day I arrived, it struck me it took us 45 minutes to reach the dance floor. Why ? Because people kept on coming to us and asking questions about artists, releases and Goatrance in general. Even though our strolls aren't quite peaceful, this is a golden opportunity to "hammer" about our movement. And not only about Suntrip : we're true to our DNA; no label is "forgotten", no country is "forgotten" if need be during the conversation. Like it was in the complete version of that interview. What I mean is: after 12 years, at last, we have enough momentum to participate to such events. You can trust us to spread the good word about Goatrance! And you should do the same when the time comes!
  22. Richpa it is utterly surprising to see you use the word "biased", twice. What on earth could make us biaised about Croatia ? Well said. Goatrance is still striving to get coverage. Such an interview was unthinkable only 4 years ago and we should be thrilled by the sole fact it was done. On the other hand I sense a rising concern that a certain range of artists all produce similar music (yesterday someone called it "the new full on" in front of me). Just like you, Richpa, we are doing this out of love for the music. Our money goes to the artists. We both know how hard it was to rise this movement from its grave. So instead of jumping hastily to conclusions, we should fight for only one cause: to release quality music and promoting quality parties more than ever. Without borders. Without boundaries. Together. If there is the slightest remnant of bitterness here, we're ready to talk with you about it.
