  1. Add psy tekk/tech trance and that'd be comeplete sortof
  2. This is pretty good. Any links to other sets of yours?
  3. Darkarbiter

    abasio

    Update the links please!
  4. That track seemed to be... reasonable... so many cheesy breakdown sounds going on constantly though . Could definitely be in the running for most rise up swishy sounds in a psy track. There's quite a few tracks with themes... what about infected mushroom-release me... or psysex-come in peace?
  5. Are those head phones even sitting properly
  6. The intro on that track is so freaking good Other then that... baphomet engine 2 (the album)!!!
  7. Well raja has been around a while, as has GMS. So while the project might be relatively new... they are veterans. Hardly the vanguard though.
  8. Now that is what minimal techno should sound like! Some recomendations: Jeff Millz-The sleeper awakes for some power minimal techno/ambient Chris liebling stuff generally maybe? Joey beltram has already been mentioned.
  9. The mist isn't sci fi, just because there's a sci fi explanation for monsters doesn't mean it's particularly sci fi.
  10. Alienn is pretty great, thanks, haha. In terms of good older sounding (2007 or earlier i.e. not 100% cheesy crap) full on check out Aphid Moon-Super collider
  11. That is a good track indeed, I'll check out some of the artists mentioned by you and muzi
  12. Yep, the last track (and many others, not so much the 2nd and third though although they're still pretty good) was absolutely amazing too. So much powerful stuff. Makes me truely believe in darkpsy. p.s. bump
  13. On discogs it had an average rating of 2 (one 3 one 1). Wtf. It's the perfect example of the harder psy that actually makes sense. Especially on the second half.
  14. So, clearly since we haven't had a darkpsy thread in a while we need a new one. So anyway, I'd like some darkpsy recomendations and here's a list of albums I like: ! next to stuff in particular Aku Aku-The ceremony Attoya-Based on True events! Baphomet Engine-Baphomet Engine Baphomet Engine-Baphomet Engine 2! Cybernetika-Atropos Cybenetika-Nanosphere Dark soho albums (although they're really more psy tekk)! Derango-Tumult! Electrypnose-Le Tireur Des Ficelles Entropy-Purple people but not the third album Furious-Uncanny Beats! Furious-Supremecy! Far East Ghost-Welcome to Psychedelic Hell! Far East Ghost-Emperor Gorump Peyya-Changes Horror Place-Time Travel Isentropic-Heavens gonna burn your eyes Iron Madness-Slaughter Shiver Para Halu-The world of peace Para Halu-The future sound of Para Halu! Penta-Funraiser, gonna have to check out the first album some day but the later stuff wasn't quite so good although reasonable Psychoz-Pschotic epiphanies (the first album wasn't very strong) Psykovsky-The Budet Psykovsky-Debut! Silent Horror-Nemesis The Nommos-Primal Meltdown Wooden Monsters-Warriors of the acid forest! Xyla-Esoterica Xenomorph stuff! Compilations: Multiple personalities series Beauty and the beast! The Invisible hand Kali Yuga Double Trouble! So anyway, can anyone recommend some stuff? I don't mind hard and abstract so long as it's atmospheric(in fact some of the really hard facemelting booming bass stuff is quite meditative), the warriors of the acid forest album in particular being a good example of some nice sortof avant garde stuff. The sortof slow horror stuff is also good, but yeh, you can probably see what I like from that list, so recomendations please? The industrial stuff is always good too.
  15. 36. It's good for listening to on loud harley motorcycle.
  16. 27. It's great for having sex to.
  17. Drugs is a useful long term investment in consciousness though!
  18. Velvet acid christ actually deliberately copies goa trance though. I didn't like his stuff, it's like ok... it's goa... with a minute and a half breakdown yet the tracks only go for 4 minutes. wtf. I think it's more that EBM influenced goa trance AND a lot of ebm takes heavy influence from euro trance. And they're both sortof dark... so you end up with some similar things. You could certainly mix some EBM stuff into a goa trance set though. Suicide commando's 90s stuff is good btw.
  19. Hmm, tracklist please(for the trainspotters around)? The track 2 minutes into the third part was pretty cool.
  20. Well there's lots of good stuff on his list (lots of ok stuff or stuff I can't quite get into as well though). And Kali Yuga was a fucking excellent mix. Also lol @ him being like psytrance parties improve work productivity. What a good way to justify them. That's a bit different to the traditional hippy message.
  21. Darkpsy seems to be pretty well respected here. It's not a safe haven if you like full on however. Besides, it's usually several of the oldschool lovers who like darkpsy as well... it's not like there aren't plenty of goa topics.
  22. Well you see I'm actually an incubus, so I like music that matches my penis (cold and hard)
