  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmIiFFH3YT4 Gasper noe mentions the gay community's reaction to the gay scene (in irreversible) briefly in this. Regardless he doesn't seem to hate gays.
  2. Well I wouldn't, but I don't like going to the movies that much (big tv and nice speakers can sometimes be better). Or maybe check to see what else is coming out/out. I'd read some reviews on imdb and see if that's the sortof thing that sounds good. Maybe do what I do with music, see what the reviewer has said on movies you have seen, and find one that you generally agree with who has seen source code.
  3. Yeh, I mean you might like it. It's worth seeing, maybe not if you're a starving student and you only can afford one movie every 2 months though.
  4. If they make a massive profit from the masks, that'll allow their music to be more underground if anything. So long as the music is pure, I don't care what stupid or overpriced accessories go along with it.
  5. That's actually a good idea, hopefully less "image not found on server" pics from when you view a post from a year ago.

    Source code

Pretty crappy, like a cross between a rip off of twelve monkeys, and a rip off of inception. I mean it was done alright, but it didn't really have anything unique about it and just generally didn't feel like it had a point that hadn't already been made by other movies. I'm not sure what the main sticking point was, the concept wasn't that profound, if it was about the sadness of the main character his acting wasn't good enough to carry the movie.
  7. Yes it is. The director mentioned how it's the most colourful city apart from las vegas, and he hates las vegas.
  8. I'm a bit lost as to what the homophobic scene or character was. Could you briefly explain it to me? I guess there's no "spoiler alert" code here so maybe PM it to me, I tried reading a couple of plot descriptions of the film again and that didn't help me identify it either.
  9. Well there's plenty of random techno/non psy sets in the dj promotion section. Regardless... I don't really care what section it's posted in
  10. So with so many metal fans, I really think someone should post some metal sets in the dj promotion forum. I mean Death metal djs exist suppsoedly... and I want to therefore download their sets. I would if I still listened to black metal as much as I used to.
  11. Suffice to say yuck, simpler songs and lyrics. No chance.
  12. I agree, how are the brutal cannibal's of wherever not savages?

  15. I watched this one a couple of days ago, what an insane movie. Very different style to anything else I've ever seen too. Highly recommend to the folks here and I'm highly surprised you guys haven't mentioned it yet! I'm also scared by how much like the main character is like me and how much like the movies patterns are like my thought patterns sometimes. I'd suggest just watching it without watching the trailer, suffice to say it's trippy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI89ovR36r0 here it is anyway. It also has wicked fractals in some parts.
  16. How has no one mentioned the milkshake scene yet?
  17. Solaris (1972) is insanely good, just watched it the other day.
  18. Well I don't really know much about the 3, so I'll leave the vote up to others. p.s. as much as I'm not a fan of the "you have no life" insult... that definitely applies to eiko
  19. Those two are real psychedelic
  20. Ha, that sounds like every electro house song that's played all the time on the radio here, only with dubstepish percussion.
  21. It's funny how they manage to make something so abstract look like a stoned guy's face.
  22. Don't say that, the techno from the 90s crowd will get angry!
  23. Wow, a track in this thread that's actually good, go shiva chandra (didn't like their 2007 album though)!
