NEMO.BOFH Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 Genetic - Transmission (cops don´t knock rmx) This is one of the bestest tracks ever, the incredible choirlike intro which can be heart at the end is very hypnotic and scary and psychedelic and beaitufl, the main melody is one of the most euphoric ones, way better than any Astral projection melody, the TB303 sounds are real TB303 sounds with a bit distoration added, just beautiful, the original transmission song is not very good and this song has almsot nothing to do with it. It is a oga masterpeace and i have no clue why noone mentioned it ever. It is way better than hits like people can fly, another world and so on. It is at the same level as mahadeva maybe even better, no, it is beter than Mahadeva. Maybe nobody mentioned it, cause it is 15 years old? (Well, I had it 15 years ago at least) NP. F.U.S.E. - Traintracs but at least it is real goa trance, so much stuff in that time was not real goa trance, no acid, no real strings and choirs, no euphoric melodies which get followed with cool sounding answerlike melodies. simon Posford, Martin Freeland and Paul Jackson made the best music back then, Paul jackson with his little project Kaaya made very impressive tracks, too. but they are mentioned less, people mention projects like Transwave, california sunshine, shiva Shidapu, which are all not that goaish compared to those guys. Dragonfly records kicked the ass of phonocol and most other labels, flying rhino was very nice also. Tracks like Plaiadians - zeta rediculy are a must have but dragonfly was the bestest.
