  1. Entry #29 https://www.discogs.com/Various-React-Test-Four/release/2724 The trance tracks shine, the rest is average.
  2. Entry #28 https://www.discogs.com/Various-React-Test-Three/release/77504 Too housey I'm afraid. Pass
  3. The albums included are slightly changed. Now, in tru Digital Reprints fashion, everything included has not been released before on a physical media
  4. Entry #27 https://www.discogs.com/Various-Reactivate-10-Snappy-Cracklepop-Techno/master/67787 The year 1995 and we reached the 10th addition to the Reactivate series. There might be the word techno in its subtitle but you will only find Trance tracks here (and from now on). And all of them are at least decent with most being great. A solid release.
  5. I have been impressed as well. The truth is as long as YOU are here the project will be as well EDIT: By YOU I mean all the people that back the projects
  6. Entry #26 https://www.discogs.com/Various-React-Test-Two/release/39681 Fast forward 3 years. Gone are the years of the Belgian anthems. Here we have a mix of Techno, Trance and House. Feels a bit disjointed which makes sense since the React Test series were samplers with tracks from various releases of their catalogue.
  7. He is And as long as the support is there he has many more releases waiting
  8. So many artists out there that I would love to see their music printed on cds. But it makes it so hard for me to put them on a priority list because for me all of them are on the same spot, first place. So, to make it easier for me I decided to change my way of thinking slightly. It is time to surprise people, go back to the roots, to the artists that started this music genre, the legends. And the next project is a Legend. He was creating Psychedelic Dub when it didn't even exist as a genre. He worked with The Orb, Youth, Killing Joke, Derrick May, Juno Reactor, Juan Atkins and in groups such as Dub Trees and Celtic Cross. He has been involved in too many projects to list. He has used many monikers to present his musical creations, Dubsahara, Subsurfing, Metasurfing, Waveshaper, Alien Soap Opera and more. At this point everyone knows that I am talking for Mr Greg Hunter so any more words are unnecessary really. The 4xCD box set will include the following releases: CD1: Dubsahara - Geonosis CD2: Subsurfing - Frozen Ants, The Number Readers, CD3: Oïd Mü - The Back End of Nowhere plus his most recent collaboration with Organismic CD4: Organismic - Primordial Super Fly This is our chance to bring something really unique and proudly present it on our music library. Very very soon.
  9. Entry #25 https://www.discogs.com/Various-Reactivate-Volume-3-Tranceteria/release/88094 Another solid release in the same year.
  10. Entry #24 https://www.discogs.com/Various-Reactivate-Volume-2-Phasers-On-Full/release/34477 Second addition to the series and another strong compilation. Every track is a gem of that era. Those covers though :D:D "You will be Robotised"
  11. Entry #23 https://www.discogs.com/Various-Reactivate-Volume-1-The-Belgian-Techno-Anthems/release/145699 Let's see, I did downtempo, I did Psychedelic, now it's time for some proper oldschool rave I think I will stick with that order for a while. Having started listening to electronic music in 1994 the first sounds I was exposed too were coming from Rave (in the very broad sense). Even if it was only for a couple of years (while transitioning to Goa Trance) I still have fond memories. However I was too young to have any kind of income at the time to buy any releases. So, in the recent years i started collecting some of the old material (the cheap ones, let's not get crazy) and hunt down the tunes that I loved. One of the most influential labels was React. And here is its first CD released. Proper oldschool Belgian techno. Every track is gold. P.S. If you have any compilation series to recommend I'm all ears.
  12. I agree with you 100%. In order to minimise that on my projects each pledger is allowed only 1 copy but there is little else I can do. On the other hand the buyers can do something, by not buying in ridiculous prices
  13. Entry #22 https://www.discogs.com/Artha-Dream-Telepathy/release/9402679 Hmmm, that cover, and especially that font. It doesn't bode well. Thankfully, I'm wrong. It isn't the Artha you would expect from his debut album and EP, but once again he shows us that he is one of the few artists that truly get the feeling of oldschool Goa. My only complain is that some tracks feel a bit underdeveloped or forced to complete them in time.
  14. Entry #21 https://www.discogs.com/DJ-Inada-If-I-Wasnt-Human-Id-Be-A-Trance-Track/release/5286348 WTF? I had to check my phone to make sure it wasn't the 90's (I wish). This compilation sounds like it was (expertly by Dj Inada) compiled 20 years ago. More please.
  15. Thank you for the mention You can currently get the Cosmosis on discogs IF you think the price is worth it. I'm sorry I cannot help you https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/11631048?ev=rb
  16. Entry #20 https://www.discogs.com/M-Run-Some-Run-Just-For-F…/…/3948484 Let's start with one thing that won't make me a very likable person. I do not like NeoGoa. No matter how much I try I cannot enjoy it. It sounds too mindless and purposeless compared to oldschool Goa/Psychedelic. Too much noise for nothing (how many channels do you need to make a modern track?) Their sole purpose is to be played in a club or an outdoors festival (which is great) but with Goa, home listening was always an option. Having said that, 90% of those releases I do not like. This is the case with M-Run's album. Sorry.
  17. Entry #19 https://www.discogs.com/Portamento-The-Port…/release/3089702 Funny how our perception of art depends and changes with era, time, personality, mood, even the time of the day. I do not know anything more subjective than art. When I first heard Portamento I was blown away. I remember thinking that's how NeoGoa should be made. But I did't get that feeling when I re-listened to it. Whether because I heard it so many times, or it didn't age that well, or I just wasn't in the right mood I do not know. But it is what it is. Still, a solid album.
  18. There is nothing more subjective than art as clearly my next post demonstrates
  19. Entry #18 https://www.discogs.com/Various-Erta-Al%C3%…/release/2776370 Boom. The bomb has dropped. Pure acidic Goa Trance and an excellent cover as well. For me this is where Cronomi Records peaked.
  20. Entry #17 https://www.discogs.com/Artha-Influencing-D…/release/2253740 Another gem from Artha. Nothing else needs to be said.
  21. Entry #16 https://www.discogs.com/Artha-Fluori-Dolby/release/2137690 F******* Great Goa Trance.
  22. Entry #15 https://www.discogs.com/Various-People-Walk…/release/1671912 Second compilation release and 2nd quirky title. I guess in festivals you do see a lot of people walking around in ways fit only to alien forms of life. Acidic Goa with many great names, more mature that then first release and....ohm, welcome Artha please everyone :)
  23. No idea to be honest. Have a listen, well worth it. http://www.cronomi.com/#Freebees
  24. Posting about them helps me keep on track. Gives purpose. As long as people post a comment here and there
