  5. The Algorithm - Brut Force. Expect something really different. And what a difference! This album is a masterpiece of complex rhythm and equally complex blends of Progressive Metal/Djent, Chiptune, Synthwave, Ambient, Trance, Breakcore and IDM. You MUST check this. Seriously. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAbm7PPYHa4

  7. Rejoice and reengage. One of the best Industrial Metal bands of the world is back. Circle of Dust is back.
  8. Now AAC is preferable. The quality of a 256 kbps AAC file is equivalent to a 320 kbps mp3 and your ear will not ne able to notice any differences above.
  9. It's for everyone. And talking about production techniques may leave a lot of people on the lurch (including myself). However the problem could be solved by creating a page dedicated to the technique. But I'm going to need help because I know almost nothing about it. This document assumes that readers have already learned about Trance, Techno and others. I have placed clickable links on genres names not belonging to the Psychedelic Trance that I mention so that readers are redirected to the corresponding wikipedia pages. I don't think so. This substyles that you speak about are not different substyles from a technical point of view, but they are in the way that "instruments" (this word don't fits about software production but you see what I mean) are used. I know the Techno stage and I know that Techno has been more influent on the "classical" Psytrance (the one I talk about on page 9 of the PDF) but I think that's more in the "classical" Psytrance bloodline than in the Techno one. Yes, that's why, for example, I said "Psybient is an Ambient style that can be attached to Psychedelic Trance" and not "Psybient is a Psychedelic Trance substyle"
  10. Yes, I also read that some time ago on the internet. Like Synthwave with its multiple sub-styles (Vaporwave, Darksynth, Darkwave,...etc). It's a recurring problem of the electronic music stage but we can also find this derivative in the Rock/Metal one or more moderately in the Hip Hop one.
  11. Have you any favorites one ?
  12. Hi everyone, About two years ago, I discovered an underground style of House called "Witch House". A style strongly influenced by Industrial Music, Dark Ambient and Hip Hop chopped and screwed. Currently, it's one of the darkest music styles I've been given to hear, any kind of music confused. Usually I rarely listen to House but I find it quite atypical, fascinating and sometimes even hypnotic compared to other House styles. What do you think about it ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3771eNVXkos http://blvckceiling.bandcamp.com/track/i-might-be http://wowbobwow.bandcamp.com/track/whenuwannadie
