  1. Drinking coffee and wondering if my toddler son will sleep thought tonight after being up & down 7 times last night until I had to threaten to cancel his birthday unless he stayed in his room. Then I was so tired this morning I had an epic fight with my wife. Actually I'm also listening to a load of Bedrock Records tunes on my headphones & getting off on ModularGrid.
  2. Is it insane that I just spent $1500aud on a eurorack case? Not only that but bought a few modules for what will ultimately be a $10,000AUD system? And this is just the first of 2? On top of which I also have laid out $6,000AUD on audio interface, mixer & monitors? Next year I'll buy my keyboard poly synths, mono's and a few drum machines
  3. I understand and to an exten agree with what you've said. Apology is more than I expected and I thank you for that. Yes most times I am able to ignore stuff as web silliness but a few things get my goat so to speak. Anyway carry on as usual and if I ever comment again maybe we can converse as adults again. Have good day and yes Dr Spook should keep to his um specialty & leave Timewarp alone.
  4. Why did you feel the need to say this? My brother worked at a hospitals in S.E. Asia treating a lot of victims of the rampant paedophile culture that exists there and let me tell you it's no laughing matter. You could've left it mature with no comment on Hector but I just want you to know I at least found the further comment offensive. Btw this is a great compilation, different to the first but much better than most in this scene. Keep up the good work
  5. Really exciting. Does pre-order possibly include digital download? Thanks!!
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q32_uegzWdU some voaclly housey kinda stuff. dunno about genres anymore
  7. Some nice stuff here. Anyways Pulsar Recordings I must check out as I didn't think this style of trance was anymore produced, I assumed it was all ASOT stuff, housey trance commercial shite that made me sleep. Cheers for the tip.
  8. Furious 7. i wanted a movie that was over the top, a complete escape with reasoanble looking chicks, crummy EDM & hiphop. The ending was the icing on the cake with a very pleasant farewell to Mr Walker. I wouldn't reccomend it unless you're in the mood for something so OTT but it's good if that's what you're after.
  9. Anjunadeep06 Unmixed And some beats Boshke style...
  10. When I saw the track list it blew my mind that a release could be so lazy. Then I'd hoped for some amazing remixes such as some downtempo or broken beat as described by Lemmiwinks but nope just really basic nu Goa style that left me wondering how low can a label go? Suntrip had gotten quiet (sadly) generic in sound and this just proves it 100%. Nothing original or inspiring here.'Movemalong folks, really night in to see.'get the new NeoGoa releases, they're much more awe inspiring.
  11. Just curious as to what others like... 5. Metalheadz -'forever the elegant but deep sound of drum n bass. really takes me back to the London vibe in the later 90's. 4. Anjunadeep - I can't listen to much trance anymore, Psy or otherwise, but outside of psy this label satisfies all my trance needs. 3. Balance Music - I find this label fun as it's basically getting a mix tape from some top dj's. Can be a bit hit n miss but the Henry Saiz release is just so amazing. 2. Ninja Tune - amazing label that I've loved from the start. Just so much fun and goodness. 1. Bedrock Music - Digweed's label just covers all bases so well. Coming from a house n techno this label is just elegant and deep beyond compare. So much fun to mix as well. Currently listening through my 455 tracks from this label
  12. Sadly Equator refuse to distribute to my country. After months of huffing and puffing am gonna settle for eithe some EVE Audio or Adam monitors later this year.
  13. Meh was quite dissapointed really. They were good but not mindblowingly so. There is so much good new talent out there, time these oldies retired. I"m also hoping that with his USA touring Simon P might forget the whole psychedelic aspect and put out some really good dubbed out EDM/breaks. It's all starting to sound a little to cheesey to my aged ears.
  14. To some it up this was what I mostly heard style wisein Goa in 2004, lots of minimal and prog stuff and as a local friend said "Goa is a place, not a music genre. Forget the past and embrace the sound of now". I took a lot of things that night after him saying that to me during our vs dj set and had a wonderful time. I think Goa can be used to describe what is played at a destination. There are many cities that have a defined style of EDM attached to them but often having travelled there that style may be the majority, but it is not the only one. Let go and enjoy the sounds before you get to stifled in life.
  15. Wow well done. I'll buy this for sure, first time Suntrip or any of the modern "Goa" labels have release something i really like. A compilation of this style would be wonderful. Brings back great memoris of around 1997-1999 for me the best psychedelic time.
  16. Controversial I know... OMG OH NO IT SAYS GOA BUT IT ISN'T!! MUST DIE NOW!!! LOL!!
  17. Ok y'all I'm looking to purchase 4-5 compilations (no artist albums) from Zenon bandcamp. The only thing required is they must have. 2 second gap between tracks. Tips please?
  18. Hasn't Yellow Sunshine Explosion been doing this isnce like the turn of the century? Anywho it bothers me not at all as I'm going to get the Goa Sessions series from YSE in a few days. I get more gigs playing prog psy than playing actual psy or goa. And I have to say cuter girls dance in tight & short clothing which is mor fun as a dj to look at than dirty hippies.
  19. Green Nuns Of The Revolution Doof Shaolin Wooden Men Xenomorph Sandman Tandu to start
  20. hehe this is one of my fav old Dutch trax NSFW that's the way we like it!
  21. Not really. Currently doing lots of vinyl sets of old Warp & Ninja Tune vinyls. Getting actual paid gigs!! I'm building a pretty simple live eurorack system for live performance of psychedelic techno. It'll be built around the Drumdokta 2 for percussion & Intellijel Metropolis + Atlantus. add some fx modules ' maybe a MakeNoise Maths & it'll be fun!!
  22. Digital versions inc. full tracks, some shopping from CLR Records:
  23. Digital version of course so get the mixes plus the full tracks...
