  1. 1000 plays today (or maybe yesterday)
  2. No melancholia thread is complete without this one:
  3. Yep. The track is (unsurprisingly) named "Eat Static"
  4. Or why is goa acceptable on bigger festivals usually only if it's oldschool and/or played by veterans?
  5. Ah, the album I have a nice love/hate relationship with Depending on my mood and so on, it can be either absolutely brilliant or utter crap.
  6. Uh...since when have we thought of NHJO as anything else than (at least apparently) one entity?
  7. Not if you ask me How about (in no particular order) Cosmosis - Cosmology Transwave - Helium Morphem - Out Of Focus X-Dream - We Created Our Own Happiness Prana - Cyclone OOOD - A Live Miranda - Phenomena Space Tribe - Sonic Mandala MWNN - Moment Of Truth MFG - The Prophecy Doof - Let's Turn On Total Eclipse - Violent Relaxation for a random dozen of 1996 albums better than Alien Protein
  8. My own FLAC encodes, no idea what format they were in originally but I assume WAV/AIFF Ultraviolet: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a1p55yexjiwyq97/Darshan%20-%20Ultraviolet.flac?dl=0 HammerFace: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fojioex11tbr19f/Darshan%20-%20HammerFace.flac?dl=0
  9. I wouldn't exactly call the first Mystery Of The Yeti a "compilation", more like a concept album as it's all done by Raja Ram + Simon + Total Eclipse (and Graham Wood on the last track). The second one is more like a "concept compilation".
  10. Does Decadent Sympozium count? One kickass track on Dimensional Gateway 3: and one Lunar Dawn remix: And I bet nobody around here except for Richpa even knows who this artist is/are.
  11. 1000 plays today. Hugs to everyone
  12. I have 2 Darshan tracks in my random tracks folder. Might be the ones you're looking for (seeing as I apparently downloaded them when this thread was new). Does anyone remember the track names?
  13. Oh, this again Almost forgot about this already (and I don't have the MOS track). Maybe some day...
  14. Basically my thoughts concerning Skyrim Especially modding it wrecks your sanity. I have it uninstalled for now, but somewhere in the back of my head it still keeps tempting me to come back.
  15. Uh...what's the thing with Paps? I remember I bought the TIP.World Halluci:Nations comp back in '99 and basically hated every single track on it, especially the Paps and Tripiatrik tracks, but in general this was one of the CDs that basically turned me away from psytrance and towards more downtempo.
  16. What happened to Lapsus? He released a few kickass tracks and has been silent for years.
  17. Well I actually haven't even heard the Kiriyama album but if you want some funky playful forest, this should be good: Download the entire album here: http://alexmusic.se/gorm/ (320k mp3 only)
  18. Took a first listen today, with a slightly tired mind so not exactly optimal initial conditions. Still, I don't know what some people are complaining about. This is relentlessly in-your-face and majestic start to finish. Further listens surely will reveal more details, but for now my favourite is In The Mouth Of Madness that has an absolutely lovely Cydonia vibe all over it <3
  19. Yeah well I'm unfortunately quite lazy when it comes to listening to people's mixes :/
  20. Yes of course, I didn't mean to imply that it was your doing
  21. Took a listen to this the other day. Some ups, some downs. The most notable down being (assumedly) Tactical Groove Orbit - Dragon's Hunt (Quadrat Beat Remix). Anyway, it's the track that samples the opening theme from Ghost In The Shell, and to me it's a track that's not to be abused in this way. The only acceptable way to use the track in a DJ set is to play it purely on its own without it being sampled and mashed into another track. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine. On the other hand, thanks for including the FTL remix of X-Dream - The 1st. I adore the original track and this remix is right on par with it. It'll surely go into one of my sets as a surprise number. Overall, a little bit more variation would have been nice, but this is psybreaks, and psybreaks is what it delivers so I don't really see a reason to complain
  22. Well if this didn't make my day I don't know what does.
