  1. They look interesting. I've often read that to get a proper seal, one has to insert Etymotic in-ear-monitors so deeply into the earcanal, that they're rather painful to wear. How comfortable are these to use?
  2. Etnica - Intense Visitation http://youtu.be/F4Xsv0Pe-eA Got Mind Rewind 2 two days ago and hadn't heard it before then.
  3. Yeah, no. I treated it as such, but it would be better if one didn't have to, in order to get it. It should be left to the buyer to decide if he should buy a CD or not and samples are the best way to provide him/her with the necessary information for that decision.
  4. I think I played around with FL 3.0 a looooong time ago and can remember that sample. Is version 3.0 still available for download anywhere? If not, there's a very slight chance it's rotting away on one of the old hard drives I have lying around...
  5. I observe, that Veracohr's expression, that he considers driving in fog a "Nebulage", puts him into a "Nebulage" with radi. (if you're confused about this posting, please check the word-of-the-day thread )
  6. "Nebulage" as in: such a nebulage / we're in quite a nebulage. combination of nebulös (foggy/blurry) and Lage (situation). ...= difficult situation.
  7. JBC Arkadii - Cold As Ice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaVPBOFNyPA
  8. Even though I'm hardly familiar with dubstep, I agree with everything you said. Almost. Because voicing frustration can have its merits, too, if done the right way. It's just another valid form of expression and communication in general imo and when it comes to this particular thing, dubstep parts in psytrance sets, in my experience, it doesn't work most of the time. The foundation of trance is repetition and continuous flow, and as far as I know dubstep and going by what I've heard of it, when worked into psytrance tracks/sets, it always breaks the trance/flow. I know that there's stuff like twilight psy/night full on/whatever you wanna call it, which has breaks and builds towards "drops", too, but it still feels different for me from the way dubstep teases one with an imminent "drop" that's delayed again and again and again.
  9. No, I never attended Samsara festival. My only slightly bigger festivals ever were the Sonnenklang and Spirit Base 2004 or 2005 and then Spiritbase 2010 and 2011, I think.
  10. I guess I have to check out Goasia... I read the name a few times before, but they never really made it to my ears. I have to say, for me Lost in the Wild is a bit above the rest of the genre as well. Patience for Heaven is really good too and comes very close for me, but everything else I've heard so far doesn't. In fact the only other remotely more recent album that came close was probably Steamagination, even though it is completely different from the Filteria or Mindsphere sound. Steamagination could probably be called neo-oldschool-psy if that genre existed, but I was (and still am) really impressed by it. I don't think this is possible at all. If, hypothetically speaking, something like IFO or The Lone Deranger, or whatever really big classic album, wasn't made back then and would have been produced and released just recently, it still wouldn't give me the magic feeling of the original goa. It's not 1996 (+/- whatever) anymore, I am different, the people are different, the music at large is different, the moment 2013 just feels entirely different from the moment 1996 and in this context nothing can make the impact it would have made, had it been released in 1996. And I'm not necessarily talking about the amount/quantity of impact, but actually more about the quality of impact. Old school goa was magical as a whole for me, not one single release was magical on its own. They all were special in the context they provided for each other.
  11. Thanks! =) I have 4 midimiliz albums and blast food by spirallianz, but it's my first the delta album. I fell in love with the Minusman sound right away and very quickly knew, I had to have this in my collection. edit: there are actually only 3 midimiliz albums in existance.
  12. The Delta - Minusman Just received it in the mail. http://youtu.be/uGuT5Lg2L6I
  13. 1. Juno Reactor - Labyrinth http://www.discogs.com/Juno-Reactor-Samurai/release/49918 http://youtu.be/mAWy3_bP0Gc No idea about 2 & 3, since 3 can't be Green Nuns otR - Ring of Fire...
  14. They said it's ok [for me to upload the mix to soundcloud and/or other parts of the www], as long as the mix isn't downloadable. If anyone wants to have the original .wav, please contact me per PM.
  15. http://www.mixcloud.com/Psyankali/psyankali-jules-verne-djmix/ Can't find a way to download it, though, even when signed out. edit: I guess mixcloud doesn't offer a download option, but apprarently soundcloud is not as useless, as I have started to think. They didn't make it clear in the copyright notice, but they sent me an e-mail to point out that it's only the Banco De Gaia track, they object to. So I'll just ask discogeckorecords to allow me to publish the first 7 and 1/2 minutes of their track as part of my mix... I'm kind of curious how they're going to respond.
  16. yeah, that's nice (not): " I bought all the tracks included in this DJ mix and mixed them myself, using my own skills! So now, let me upload my sound! This is a very common misconception. Unfortunately, when you purchase a track, you are only actually buying the right to listen to it. Your purchase does not give you the right to remix the track, or include it in a DJ mix that that you publish on SoundCloud. If you want to do that, you’ll need separate approvals from all relevant copyright owners." What's up with that? Any recommendations?
  17. I'll upload it in 44.1kHz/16bit wav format to soundcloud. Let's hope it'll be downloadable as .wav, too.
  18. I have read the term ASIO before, but don't really know what it is.
  19. I have no idea why your connection is so unstable. Have you tried to ask them to do something about it?
  20. I don't know much about the DAC1, except that many seem to like it. In case you aren't aware of it, there are different DAC1 models, so make sure you'll be fine with the one you get... http://www.benchmarkmedia.com/dac/dac1-series-overview
  21. The super-high-pitched tone in Etnica - Starship 101 at 5:13 http://youtu.be/0HOPfUfrn-I?t=5m4s The glitchy stutter-effect in UX - Master of the Universe at 3:25 http://youtu.be/dhwyT_VzwNI?t=3m14s
