  1. On the go: iBasso DX100 into Beyerdynamic DT250-250 At home: Cambridge Azure 640A + Acoustic Energy Aesprit 300c or Violectric V200 + Audeze LCD2 from Marantz CD5004 or Creative E-Mu 0204 Right now I have to live without my DX100, I hope it comes back from warranty repair in china soon ("our capacities to china are exceeded right now" - our postal service hasn't even managed to get it out of my city, and that's since 16th of may ).
  2. To get rid of toxic situations? Entirely depends on the situation of course. To prevent toxic situations: Be aware that everybody (consciously or not) creates their own social microcosmos where they spend most or almost all of their time. Talk about conflicts when they arise or as soon as possible. I guess even a hermit is going to have to deal with unpleasant situations occasionally, but a person that is already out of balance is going to have more trouble staying centered than someone who is still mostly in their center. As long as you stay in touch with your surroundings you'll adapt to them changing and won't suddenly have to deal with something almost completely alien."
  3. My avatar is a picture of Audeze LCD2 headphones plugged into a Violectric V200 headphone amplifier. It's the setup I'm using to listen to music at high volumes when I don't want to piss off neighbours, like late at night or very early in the morning. Usually I vastly prefer the freedom of movement and naturalness of sound that speakers provide, though.
  4. I took notes when I listened to the video the second time: gonna check how many I got right. edit: messed up a few numbers because of taking notes in real time, but scoring myself I got: right approximations: 3, 18, 28, 36, 50 (total: 5) almost right: 23, 29, 41 (total: 3) completely right: 5, 6, 9, 30, 37, 39, 44, 47, 49 (total: 9) I really love track number 18 but haven't listened to it for quite a while so the complete artist-track-title evaded me when I tried to remember it
  5. Shango is my favourite album by Juno Reactor. When I listened to it for the first time, relatively shortly after it was released, I was very disappointed because I had different expectations (I had listened to their Bible of Dreams tracks mostly till then), then, on the same day I read a review from someone raving about the album on the old psynews site, listened to it again with a fresh mind and liked it very much. I like all the tracks for what they are, Badimo, Nitrogen Part II and Solaris are easily my favourites, though. Best moments on the album are when the glorious Masters of the Universe starts after the super-dark Badimo and when Solaris starts the calm ending part of the album after the hard and powerful Nitrogen Part II.
  6. Goa: Pleiadians - I.F.O. Psy: Infected Mushroom - B.P.Empire I don't think these will ever get old for me.
  7. Color Dox - Maximum Psy my try at embedding the youtube vid: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ZDW_HWPr4AU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> edit: maybe simply pasting the link works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDW_HWPr4AU
  8. So many contenders but the first track that jumped to my mind was "Mind Altering Drugs" and I think this one is it for me. It's so powerful.
  9. Excellent communicatin and packaging and quick shipping. Thank you, Anoebis!
  10. edit: deleted - posted in the wrong thread (sorry! )

  12. Hello, I haven't received the physical media yet, but being provided the download of the zip with mp3s+flacs+art anyway is great! Looking forward to receiving the actual discs. Thanks a lot so far & best regards!
  13. Marjolaine Piémont the pic i wanted to post couldn't be linked so I hope you don't mind me posting this vid http://vimeo.com/5099586 this video is "safe for work" btw...
  14. transcendence combined with trance, nonsense, zen, dance simple but effective... or not.
  15. Thanks for the responses. This seems to be a different case than with mind rewind then... If anyone cares to explain to me what's the point in doing what was done with mind rewind though please feel free to PM me, as it would be offtopic here and i would like to understand the motives...
  16. Sorry, but I don't get it. What's the point in creating artificial scarcity by limiting the release to 300 prints? I don't see what's great about people not being able to get the album because there'll only be 300 printed!? Background: I'd have loved to get Mind Rewind, but my paypal wasn't working when it was released and when I had things sorted out it was already sold out (as you probably know it was limited to 604 prints).
  17. I play games since the akanoid/wolfenstein/dukenukem1 era and used to play quake 2 competitively (won all 1on1 tournaments in vienna/austria for 2 years) on pc, then i more or less stopped playing games apart from diablo 2 from time to time or heroes of might and magic series in hot seat mode. then, 3 and a half years ago, i bought an xbox 360 and now i just love sitting on the couch playing on a big tv instead of in front of the pc. I still like shooters a lot (I enjoyed dead space 1, played really lots of borderlands in splitscreen, recently got rage and like it) and I don't mind playing the shooters with the controller at all for solo or coop modes. Originally I got the xbox 360 because of soul calibur IV, which i still play a lot with a friend. I'm also into rpgs like fallout 3, fallout new vegas (which is a really great game), dragon age and now skyrim. Although I have to say I pretty much always play mages in rpgs if possible so in my case they're a tiny bit like shooters also (while of course you don't have to wait for your mana to recharge in shooters ). Also I never connect my console to my wifi. I think the real strength of consoles lies in playing multiplayer with the person next to you on the same screen without having to have 2 pcs. I guess playing over the internet is just too unpersonal for my taste.
  18. Goa Head Vol. 3 and Chakra Red, the first 2 goa compilations I found back in the days... also certainly the 'dream creation - the sound of freedom' compilation
  19. Psysex - The Beat of the Year Psysex - The Evil Turkeys Amanite FX - Maximum Psy (good song IMO, but still funny because it tries so hard)
