  1. It's "Dog Days Bliss". The "F" is a typo on the bandcamp page.
  2. I'm looking for a track with this sample. It was very groovy, probably around 142 bpm and I think it was off an artist-album, but I just looked through the reviews section around the early 2000s but didn't find a name that I thought could be it. Any input appreciated. Thanks!
  3. found the one I was thinking of: Hallucinogen - LSD (Doof Mix) 1995sample starts at 1:58 and goes till 2:11 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OArNfwhYqiQ
  4. I think I'm hearing the sample in my head right now, but I currently can't remember the artist or track name. As far as I can remember the sample goes "lsd" once every two beats for a while, but not really for the majority of the track... ?
  5. Somehow reminded me of Tok Tok vs. Soffy O (2002). None of the tracks seem to really fit your sample, though, except for, maybe, Day of Mine, even though it's much slower if that's really the track you seek... http://www.discogs.com/Toktok-Vs-Soffy-O-Toktok-Vs-Soffy-O/master/126625 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WC9pXj2aYW8
  6. A long time ago I read somewhere that they derived the name Psysex from Sysex. From english wikipedia: "System Exclusive (SysEx) messages are a major reason for the flexibility and longevity of the MIDI standard. They allow manufacturers to create proprietary messages which provide control over their equipment in a way that is more thorough than is provided for by standard MIDI messages."
  7. When playing video games instead of "teleport" i like to say "telesport". :D
  8. My most recent favourite: Some people don't seem to get it though, which puzzles me a bit...
  9. Astrojax (check my youtube channel: rawland604) and to some extent my dj-equipment (2x pioneer cdj400 + a&h db2), but djing is a bit less personal for me compared to juggling, because, even though everyone has their own style and preferences, one mostly combines preexisting material rather than creating something completely new from scratch, + it's less immediate.
  10. Psysex are one of my very favourites. Expressions of Rage, Hardcore Blastoff and Come in Peace are really neat albums. I don't really know their newer stuff, though. If it's of similar quality and style, somebody should let me know.
  11. I was just trying to say: You will feel better and be able to concentrate better without cigarettes (since that currently is your source of nicotine) when you are used to go without them. And: Once you're used to not smoking cigarettes you can still take nicotine to improve your performance in certain areas or general well-being. I don't know what the best way to deliver nicotine to the body is, though.
  12. Yes, nicotine does have its positive effects (see http://www.gwern.net/Nicotine for example), but I'd recommend you to just stop smoking altogether, get through the time of withdrawal with its unpleasant symptoms (shouldn't be more than a few weeks) and never look back. I stopped 2 1/2 years ago (after smoking tobacco/cigarettes for about 9 years) and don't miss it at all.
  13. I am very picky when it comes to sleeping locations. The most important thing for me is to be able to lie full-length, because it's very hard for me to fall asleep when I have to bend my legs and I'm not well-rested at all after sleeping in a position like this. A good mattress is also very important for me and the pillow should be quite slim, but not too small, unless the mattress is really good, then I can sleep quite well without any pillow at all. This might be one of the main reasons why I hardly ever go to festivals, and if I go, then only for the last two days, so that I don't have to sleep there.
  14. My approach to matters like this is sorting my personal problems out, so I can better help the people around me, which in turn should help everyone (and everything/the world) they have to do with. Here are some more problems to worry (or not worry) about: http://www.exitmundi.nl/exitmundi.htm
  15. My words! Every sound perfectly in its place. Just got "COP - Urban Alien" in the mail today. It sounds almost exactly the way I remembered it - only even better than before! I haven't been that impressed by listening to one of my old-school (re-)purchases for quite a while. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxEQQDszFk8
  16. Chain Reaction - DMT Server (Loud remix)(240p only, though ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igyuY-R8fGo
  17. everybody loves psy... ...deal with it!
  18. Saugstauber (instead of Staubsauger =~ suck-duster instead of dust-sucker) - more like word of the decade for me, though.
  19. I'd say the term "satire" describes it quite well. Playing with cliches. Understanding german helps, obviously.
