The older I get (haha, being 21), the more I understand that there is no best anyone. There are just guys making something and at times you appreciate what they are doing more, later you don't, but you remember how awesome it was and you want to repeat that. Not sure you got my point hard to tell, really. I can only say that atm I'm totally tripping out everyday when I hear birds signing (thank God I live in 50m next to the biggest park in our city). When listening to ambient (Elve/Ishvara) I can't tell is it the music or the flying dudes in the window. Wicked

I find psytrance psychedelic (I put my own meaning into this term) and I find neuro trance neurodelic or whatevargh. Making names stupid, people say. Saying making names is stupid, is even more stupid, in my opinion.

I'm not sure Khetzal needs a special appreciation thread — it's just really hard to find someone who doesn't like his music, and that's fair, because you receive as much as you give... and that's why he was voted #1 in 2005

Dloading samples, dloading samples.... IMO, SCS together with Sensient are the best in this genre, everybody else just lost it... but this is Iboga, anything can happen. PS I found interesting, not interesting tracks with nice moments and totally not interesting tracks here. I think we'd get more edgy stuff if he released it somewhere else, I liked what Iboga did some years ago, but now we're having more and more generic stuff (it's moving to that direction) though I'm sure this one's going for the prog album of the year. Too pity you have to balance between selling and music, too pity there are too few brave man in the scene today.

same with "psychedelic trance", what's so psychedelic about it?

For the first time I heard this term in 2005 when a one dude was describing CPC's first album I also think neuro trance fits better for this sub-genre than dark psy.

Baseline suxx and that's for sure All in all, this album is too chaotic to get into after the first listen, but I have to say I expected much more after reading all these comments. UPD: 15th track is pretty cool, once I began my set with it and it worked very good with some Talpa afterwards. And again: change that bassline, dudes!

I didn't like this album, listened to it like 4-5 times and found 2 so-so tracks. Benza > Retrofuturism >> Schwarze Something

Exactly I can't get into trance with continuous breaks and climaxes, that's why I rarely listen to full on. Trance is about 'inner' breaks, isn't it? Music has to lead you somewhere and when you're ready - you reach the top Lately I noticed I like it almost with no breaks, only small 'gates' Breaks are for dancing, not for tripping. imo

You expected something else from Tribal Vision? Haha...
