Whatever happened to organic instruments in goatrance?
Penzoline replied to Penzoline's topic in General Psytrance
Whaa, I can't be the only one here who thinks organic instruments and chant samples give goa greater dynamics. Or can I? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj26kAfB-Lc -
I visited that Gric's site. Such good stuff, I just wish there were options for people with less money.

It brings great variance and organicness for goa, which are things it needs imo. -
What think you? http://www.arabesque...d=2869&Itemid=1 They've really gotten far from their roots for sure. It doesn't sound half-bad in regards it's unique and their production is top notch, but for the love of god.. vocals. I wonder.

Soo Etnica and Pleiadians are back. Kinda.

I think it would breed non-neccesary negativity, which would bring unneccesary bs to unreleased releasing business. -

Yeah it actually is too much work for the average person to just throw a party. I'm trying to figure out something but what can I do? No money, no connections.

Samples 90% of the time I'd guess. -

I've been listening to old school the whole day and it keeps popping to my head that where are all the organic instruments? Old school had tons. It wasn't all synths. New school has them but very little! Bring back didgeroos and sitars and start mixing! Also more tribal nature tracks on top of that! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sCL50zLGqo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfA70HHRItM -
Nice review I mostly agree, though especially on the "what is that smell.." What was he thinking??? Anyhoo, this album has some artifact303/liquidflow/astralprojection-elements but it is far less refined and mature. Could have used more time in the oven. A couple notable tracks but that's it.

Schallusion - Morphologic Tales (Free Album)
Penzoline replied to Till Eulenspiegel's topic in Free Music Promotion
Yes the cover does no justice to the innards! This is amazing goapsy. First track kinda reminds me of Jikkenteki with the long duration, it keeps evolving. -

Listening to first track and I'm pleasantly surprised! Good stuff here! Edit: Wow this is detailed and damn finely crafted goapsy. Crossover is faking epic! -
I'd buy one dedicated just for goa of the 90s. Someone should make one!

Penzoline replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
Ah yes! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAiTXxzQ47s I love the rawness of Sky Input synths. Heliopolis had some nice ones, too. No other synths have made my hair stand up like Sky Input had. It was like orgasms in my ear. -
Let me get back to you on that! I need to do a few more test prints.

Ahead of it's time? Timeless. Never having a time - always being in a time. Many of the old school compositions will never wither because of their incredible depth and complexity. Not at this rate anyway. I almost believe some of it was from another star cluster. Pleiades? Who knows. It's unfortunate, or fortunate, that not many will witness what we have. Or maybe it's just a bunch of electronic noises and bleeps and we are just crazy. I don't know.

Not a bad idea. Let me forward this.
