  1. Thinking about Pete 'Tetrameth' Hayes ~ Quite a lot of 'lyrics' in there anyway truly unique sound. Hey Pete: I've been thinking about you ~
  2. Agree with northern Germany for this one, disagree with year 2000. Could be something from https://www.discogs.com/label/33676-Plastic-Loop-Recordings or maybe some track on this one: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Cosmic-Flight-Germanys-Psychedelic-Trance-Vol-1/release/137107
  3. The 'problem' here seems to be the extra-fancy ALAC format. Of course Apple had to create their own thing instead of going with FLAC. I suggest you ask for advice on some audio forum what to do exactly. Anyway it won't be that tricky i guess. On windows you can simply use foobar plus add-ons for the job and there's probably a suitable software for Mac as well.

    80's pop

Interesting link i say, because in my opinion exactly this artist's hit singles marked the beginning of the end of quality mainstream music. Luckily Hip Hop still had a long way to go back then, so in the early 90's it was the N.W.A guys and Hijack from UK plus a few others who produced inspiring music that was slowly moving towards mainstream. Who with me? Great topic, let's keep it alive. Cheesy? Haha, maybe. Cheesy and excellent.

  8. Check out https://www.discogs.com/Bodh-Gaya-Ayahuasca-The-Trip-To-The-Fountain-Of-Culture/release/238542 and maybe albums by https://www.discogs.com/artist/1535208-Merkaba-3
  9. Hey there. Please name classic goa tracks ('94-'99) that stay below 133 bpm. Yeah i know, Screaming Butterfly of course. What else do we have? Thanks guys.
  10. Hip Hop is almost more important as a genre than psytrance because it's what the kids like. When i first listened to Run-DMC's 'It's Tricky' as a kid i felt like this was the best music i ever heard till then. Few years later i thought that nothing could ever beat Hijack's album 'The Horns Of Jericho'. The story continues, Hip Hop will always live.
  11. Those are quite tough requirements, so i'm being moderate. Old: Etnica, Koxbox, MFG (no need to introduce them to anybody around here) New: Merkaba (organic/tribal progressive full of heart and soul)
  12. Yes, just like that. This really is a proper way of doing modern goa trance. Check yo self (Cube) , leave some space inside the music for active human brains, stay away from overproducing your tracks. Some tracks almost sound too minimalistic on this VA at certain points but just almost. Excellent music, keep em coming Zion604.
  13. Globular albums for sure. https://globular.bandcamp.com/ Nothing beats Are You Shpongled of course but this guy has made some great albums so far.
  14. Bee Gees - You Win Again. Pure magic, makes me think of the whole human project and why it shall go on and is worth to fight for. The video also fits perfectly in my opinion.
  15. nope ... i guess it's hard to find. it was on some mixtape from 2000 or maybe even earlier i guess. maybe it actually was an officially released mix, one of the thousands back then. i never got deep into this style but there are many great trance/hardtrance tracks form that era. let's try to keep this topic alive.
  16. Wow, cheesy! Hah no, the track i'm looking for is more Tunnel Trance Force style so to say. Thanks anyway
  17. Nice topic. I'm still searching for some hardtrance track with a female voice saying "into the sun" or "under the sun", really a simple and cheap track actually, should be from around 2000-2004. Has a very simple and catchy melody. Yes it's a track ID request but suitable for this topic i guess. Thanks.
  18. Pretty good album indeed, Universal Bus and Fish are probably the best tracks. Nice job.
  19. Hmmm, tbh this is exactly how the album sounds like, in my opinion. Of course it's technically perfect and well produced Goa Trance and also i have no doubt that this guy Ali has some great skills and knows what he's doing when it comes to music production. But where exactly are the magic moments in this album? Ok, this album somehow 'works' if you're in the right mood but what exactly is so special and excellent about it? After reading the promo text and other users' first impressions i had big hopes for this album but to me it just sounds like typical modern Goa Trance which is nice anyway, but yes... 'Best in a long time' and similar statements seem a little over the top for me.
