Let make a list of all the amazing looong tracks.

criteria - should be at least 15 minutes long. No mixed albums!

(not a thread of 15+, but only the very best of 15+)

Jikkenteki owns this space!

1) Jikkenteki - Symplicity - 31:06 and what a beauty!!

Nice thread Stark :)

I still have not listened to Jikkenteki, I know I should!

+1 for the Qiujan track

There is a track that I find very good and unusual, it is Psyko Disko - Te loco https://www.discogs.com/Psyko-Disko-Psycho-Disco/master/33915

Don't know why the track stops at 10 minutes on youtube. The track has 2 parts, a high tempo psychedelic part and a dark beatless dark part. Very good and unique (experimental) track (terribly underrated).

New Born - The observer is pretty nice, a bit repetitive and empty but good morning track to chill out.

Talamasca - Odyssey is pretty good as well:

Zirrex - Hollystrerius has a slower tempo than most tracks on the album.

Still one of my favourites in the album Lost in Time.

To this day, my personal favourite still remains Fragletrollet - Manik 11

I am not a expert of this style, I listen to some very occasionnally but this track is so impressive, it has something most tracks lack (the sample used fits the music perfectly, the intro is beautiful, the part before the 10th minute mark is amazing):

Also I think there was a nice track posted by Drosophilia a few years ago (around 18 minutes, in the thread "rate this track" (lazy to look for it now, Drosophilia if you read, my memory says it was you but I could be wrong!)

Edit: Ok I found the track https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/64749-rate-the-above-track-fun-game/?p=1051935

Krussedull - Alberts Journey

PS: edited my post, I found the track posted by Droso.

PS: Listening to Fragletrollet right now, such a fantastic track :o

I love a long track.

I remember buying Goa CDs blind I would look at the cover and the number of tracks.

The fewer tracks the more likely I was to buy it and I honestly had a very good success rate of buying great albums.

The longer tracks really allow the artist room to allow the music to breathe, flow and evolve.

Some great tracks mentioned here already, already most of my uptempo favourites already mentioned; I think there are less long uptempo tracks because they are more difficult to do which goes to show how talented some of these guys are to make long fast music that is still great. In my list I have (tried to) shy away from ambient as there are plenty of long long (30 or 60 minutes plus) that are really good but still all of these are downtempo at least

Pleiadians - Seven Sisters

Banco De Gaia - Kincajou (Duck! Asteroid)

Jairamji - Temple

Galaxy - Higher Vibration

(Youtube only seems to have this cut in 2)

M-Sphere - Pulsar ii (noisy rain mix)

(I can't find this anywhere :( )

Pete Namlook & Mixmaster Morris - Hymn

Solar Fields - Monogram

Solar Fields - Air Song (8am Version)

I once recorded an extended mix of Air Song weighing in around 35 minutes but I cannot find that anywhere :(

:@ I missed it!

Also , his best is Symplicity :P He is one of those who has tasted and mastered the art of extremely long tracks. I guess Is kinda natural for him to come up with 30 min tracks now. Sad he hasnt released any music lately
