Artists that manage to stand on their own
astralprojection replied to Taika-Kim's topic in General Psytrance
Process, Xerox and .... eeehhh memory comon now dont fail me.... FUCK have to look up in my library, right PASSENGER for me, these three kinda have that same sound. I dont know why, but I always tend to put these three in the same style. ____ this is one wierd topic. but i like it. .... its really wierd though and I dont get it. -
Deedrah / Transwave Mysterious Goa Track
astralprojection replied to GeorgeMoonstoneD's topic in Lost Tracks
MUST YOU ALWAYS CONTRADICT ME YOU DAMN GUY jk, yeah i guess ur right about filteria. but still, fitlerias unreleased is rarely heard but i know for a fact, being swede and all, that he experimented with ALOT of styles before releasing Sky Input. meh I guess the hihats are a bit transwave-y, but the kick and bass isnt, and thats the trademark of transwave. yeah, what gives? -
Im currently in the mixing session of my remix of Ozaka Oz - Real Nightmare, which Padmapani of the kindness of his heart, helped me find out all the patterns for - so yeah, youll see that in the Free Music Promotion area soon. Its gonna kick ass. the original already kicks proper ass though, so it'll be tough, but I think I can manage making it even better. All thanks to Padi. Damn I love that guy.. But whenever I say that he gets standoff-ish, I guess he aint used to a platonic friend expressing love. And thats cool. So I dialed back on the feels knob, down to about 10%. He knows, so no reason to tweak that knob up further.

bluetech didnt do it for me.. this is my current list, and yeah, it needs to be filled up, most definetely. and yeah, i pirate music. so sue me. i live off of 1000 euro each month how the fuck u excpect me to pay rent, pay off my debt (almost 500 euro each month) eat, AND buy music. but once i get proper money, ill buy everything i pirated and thats a promise.

lol thats asking too much, when it comes to ambient and chill out i take my time. Maybe ill get around to it in the year 2022 or something. I still listen to solar quest - orgisms, entheogenics first three albums, and misc. stuff like shpongle, doof, ott, etc. all from 1998-2005. Im still only 35% into Aes Dana and about 60% into Aural Planet - my two favorites so far. ..but for some reason I dont particularily like Asura. Speed that stuff up to 140+ bpm sure, but the way it is now, nope. edit: sure, I have some favorites from the current time period too, like Eat Static - Sands of time (AWESOME) and alot of other random stuff from Alien Mutation, Grey area, MOS FET, and more.

What music are you listening to right now?
astralprojection replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
ozaka oz - real nightmare (Elerium115 remix ft. Padmapani) -
wow Im still stuck on the Entheogenic sound of 2003 when it comes to chill out. Thanks paul, that list will keep me going well into the 2020s.

Deedrah / Transwave Mysterious Goa Track
astralprojection replied to GeorgeMoonstoneD's topic in Lost Tracks
doesnt sound a THING like Transwave. Not even Deedrah for that matter. Jaia is closer, Talamasca is way off, Filterias unreleased stuff, why not, Really have no clue but I can tell you for sure its not transwave or talamasca. -
the best of Progressive Trance.
astralprojection replied to astralprojection's topic in Other Electronica
most of that is Minimal Trance which incorporates dream trance and just general trance) alot of people seem to have the wrong idea what progressive trance is, and i try my best to educate but seems i get nowhere. -
the best of Progressive Trance.
astralprojection replied to astralprojection's topic in Other Electronica
both true and false, most progressive trance was created from 1996-2000. -

I need more tracks like "Pleiadians - Maia"
astralprojection replied to MrAnarchy's topic in General Psytrance
im happy you felt I feel. That has been my favorite climaxy goatrance track ever since it came out and yeah, i fully agree there should be no debate or arguing going on which is why i felt kinda pushed into a corner by ormions comment earlier, but im hoping i was just over sensitive. but please continue on with my list ive carefully picked tracks that has lasted at least 10 years for me. btw where is padi when u need him , he usually sticks up for me <3 , also starkraver ofc, but without being condescending, the things ive heard from padmapanis brain, the way he can clone melodies and how talented that guy is, he is the one on here i have the most respect for hands down. you guys dont even know.. -
if not, please leave your favorites. Mine are obviously the entire Vibrasphere catalogue - but MWNN - Axis Flip is something on another level. Its a complete marriage between progressive psy and progressive goa. Just like mwnn - space juice. i.e progressive beats but goatrance layers and melodies. So its your choice here: fav progressive GOA (mine : mwnn - space juice) and fav progressive PSY (mine : mwnn - axis flip) 2nd place: EVERYTHING VIBRASPHERE HAS EVER DONE.

First Song 2016 (Hardware produced)
astralprojection replied to Programchange's topic in Free Music Promotion
this is awesome! i dont like the break, but i still think its talented and good. the rest though, awesome! and im always impressed by people using just hardware. its something about it.. please continue making trance like this. this could be freaking epic if you focused on an EP or something. trust me on that. just adoring the 3-6 delays and the arpy goa. bumping my head to this for sure. -
the best of Progressive Trance.
astralprojection replied to astralprojection's topic in Other Electronica
the only person i trust 100% on this forum to know genres is Padmapani, please back me up here :/ if not Ill concede Im wrong about what Progressive Trance is, and Ill go hide again for another year and come back with yet another username. While I know some of you would like that, dont show it - it'll just have the opposite effect. Ill stay even longer and harder. -
Richi M - Wake Me Up (Extended Version) .. sorry about the video didnt find another with better sound quality on the tube Binary Finary - 1999 (Paul Van Dyk Remix) Loving Loop - Wake up Eternity (United Ravers Remix) Planet Fuse - Silent Wishes [borderline Hardtrance] Earthbound - Essence of life (Trance version) [borderline Acidtrance] I have alot more but 5 vids at a time seems to be the limit. * to clear up discrepencies recently brought to my attention about Progressive Trance from Manuser : This is progressive trance. Why? Cause its trance, aka 4/4 beat, with a newfound choice of melodies, different styles of breakdowns, a more evolved version of the "ordinary" trance. Hence Progressive in its literal term. Progressive meaning evolved, "another version", and simply; New. Ordinary trance being something like System F - Out of the blue (Anthem trance) Robert Miles - Children (Dream Trance) ...and millions of other. Progressive Trance is a mix of eurotrance, eurodance, hardtrance, even acidtrance - and its important to know the difference at least if you take your hobby seriously like me. Ive been a hardcore Trance fan since I was 10 years old. I was born in 1982.

I need more tracks like "Pleiadians - Maia"
astralprojection replied to MrAnarchy's topic in General Psytrance
i just did. several. Peak, I Feel, Nothing Comes Easy; but okay, if you wanna be that way.. im not gonna argue.. I love Sinai too. One of the first real climaxes I heard. (Even though at the time I still thought tracks like Miranda - Gnocchi Remix, and chi-AD - eye am the I was way better.) And I didnt just discover goatrance yesterday. I did when it was still very active, AKA in 1995, and in 1998 my library was pretty decent. I tried to keep it civil, and humourus, (the COMOON BUDDY should let you know I was joking around while still being serious about the topic) you know this, but I give up when I notice resistance (for no apparant reason than to just give me resistance) cus I dont want the demon to come back... And if you cant agree there are better tracks with more intense climaxes than Sinai Ill just stop discussing it any further and hope you expand your mind enough to grasp the concept of other tracks that are quite immensly better. Sinai is even a bit cheesy nowadays, for that matter. Oh and the fact that you say "protip" indicates that you are somewhat more "pro" in goatrance than me, and even if that is the case or not , i think its a bit cocky, you really dont know me, and I dont think you should condescend people like that. I came back right this time, and I intend to stay that way, so Ill leave it here. Enjoy my list, OP, and I hope you find some gems in there that you like. And the fact you claim "I cant" is yet another strange insult and I dont know where it comes from, perhaps old grudges. Cheers ormion, I hope you can learn to forgive me also. -
Dj Aries, Malmö, Sweden. His vinyl collection is to drool for and his mixing is flawless, and when minimal progressive psytrance was destroying goatrance, he kept it alive and him alone. For psytrance though I prefer to hear the tracks as a whole. When it comes to Vocal Trance and Progressive Trance, thats another story.

with pleasure; first things first, my very favorite climax all genres, just has to be ; Electric Universe - Peak (start @ 02:44 --> 04:40 ... goosebumbs) and of course Talamasca vs yuman & ben-j - 3 smoking gorillas (start @ 04:10 -->) going back to (oldschool)goa then; (these are more subtle and not in your face like Peak or Sinai - i.e just the way I like em. Micromega and Drums Dont Stop for example - the whole track is a buildup for , for my ears, a very very nice climax) Shakta ft deedrah -lepton head pt2 juan domi jorg - spiritual healing remix mindfield - lets get stoned and watch the freaks crop circles - full mental jackpot (pleiadians remix) talamasca - halloween biot - oxygen orgasm bpc - micromega (bumbling loons remix) manmademan - desire (bumbling loons remix) atmos - drums dont stop gnotr - klunk cosmosis - moonshine digital sun - into the sun p.cok - double doper sun project - I Feel (probably the best track of all the tracks on this list) (easily beats sinai) @ 03:09 --> the 303 that enters at 03:33 beats most. and it keeps going after a small break again @ 5 min mark sun project - space dwarfs infected mushroom - nothing comes easy (easily beats sinai) @ 04:36 -> doof - youth of the galaxy (original mix) miranda - groom lake toi doi - replicant (easily beats sinai) pigs in space - solar x-dream - brain forest (althogh progressive goatrance, still nice climax) yahel - intelligent life (video version) jaia - sillenium shiva shidapu - in dream @ 06:14 slide - alien hitmen gnotr - two vindaloos and an onion bhage and im positive im forgetting about two more. -
Artists that manage to stand on their own
astralprojection replied to Taika-Kim's topic in General Psytrance
i dont quite get the topic. for me almost all artists stand on their own. what am I missing? do you mean they have a unique sound that differs from the rest while still in the goatrance genre? then id say Dado Deedrah MFG (NOTHING sounds like MFG. Not even astral or california sunshine - who is closest) Talamasca Boris Blenn Technossommy Biot .... could go on.... -
adblock plus working as intended here, still showing vids
