  1. Somewhat, yes. For a doctor the right approach certainly is through biology, not criminal law I didn't know you are a med student. That's cool to hear. I was also, 5/6 of the degree done until I quitted med school due to complicated post-war circumstances, something personal. I was attending hum aid work in ex-Yugoslavian splitting war. You have to understand: what I said about the Serbs in the another thread is something I've seen and been there. It was a rough generalisation, though. Kind of setting some more fire to that USA debate. For you all the best luck with your studies
  2. Some references: http://www.livescience.com/10107-freud-incest.html "Incest taboos Cultures around the world have prohibitions against incest, and for good reason. Inbreeding brings together rare mutations that can cause severe birth defects. In the 17th century, Charles II of Spain, the last of the Spanish Habsburgs – known for their inbreeding – was infertile and could not properly chew his food thanks to a congenital overbite. For nearly 100 years, researchers have been split on the origin of incest taboos. In 1913, Viennese psychiatrist Sigmund Freud proposed they exist because we have incestuous urges that need to be repressed. In contrast to Freud, the Finnish sociologist Edward Westermarck argued in 1891 that people have evolved a biological mechanism to avoid incest. According to Westermarck, people who grew up together would find each other unattractive. For the past few decades, as Freud's influence has waned in psychology, researchers have tended to side with Westermarck. Some evolutionary psychologists have proposed that we subconsciously estimate the relatedness of other people, using cues such as whether we've played together and spent lots of time together. If the relatedness is too high, the thought of sex with the other person triggers "incest avoidance" mechanisms, better known as disgust." 3. Nice topic @ Starkraver Goes to forest (look at my profile definitions, ha!) Gubbology Toxic Anger Syndrome Cut The Cheese BOTF Ka-sol Filteria CBL
  4. Yep, highly recommended. i just have a feeling that 2-3 members read these GDR reviews, it is sadly their loss.
  5. Hihi Rich Organic eggs in baked in Croatian olive oil but so that only the whites get baked and the yellows stay raw. That's how the cholesterol in yellows don't absorb but all the goodies absorb
  6. Arronax - The Unknown Helions Guard How many ppl here are familiar with this track? It is the bonus track of remastered Arronax album Crossing The Rubicon. It was an unique collab with a fan (me) and the producer and yep, the track title is by me
  7. Well, what to say..we obviously disagree at major points. I just think if a mom and a child make a relationship as adults there has likely been "the activity" going on in the earlier years..it is not like: hey, we love each other romantically when the child is 20 something. And it is for to blame the mother in sucha case, it is not very healthy growing up of a family relationship. What was said about homosexuality up here is not any relevant. Homosexuals don't make realatioships with their siblings or if they do it hasn't anything to do with the homosexuality itself. Peace!
  8. Ok Ok, I am a psynews addict..I was suppose to be offline but all these ideas of new topics come rolling in my mind. And don't worry..I will be gone soon when my new school starts in a week. But before that I am interested to know how you ppl take care of your physical condition. For me these activities are wanted and wished for: -planking: full exercise and easy to do even traveling - high speed walking in a hilly surroundings: not hurting the knees but still providing full aerobic set - bicycling: both of the above benefits excluding traveling
  9. I often agree with what MDK has to say. Not on this one. This album mostly made GoaTree's coming to play in my party and now that I am gonna have a psynews break this incredible album salutes my way outta here. Awesome album, GoaTree..I love you!
  10. I can take the bullet for him. So please mods re-instate Good Dance Recordings for me. I can go..I am not making proper goa anywayz..
  11. Considering Good Dance recordings got banned (for the reason this time idk) yep..this is recommended.
  12. So basically you are saying that all that does not do physical harm is all right. That saddens me. All mental/spiritual harm like excluded. Think for a second. Could you fuck your own daughter/son and marry her/him if she/he was an adult? I am happy these things are criminalized in the EU. But man, I am disappointed at you @Padmapani. I thought you are an intellectual but maybe not then. Certainly, but based on if the article is right. Don't expect anything. The world is full of by-blows but incest is hell of another thing. Finally: I started this thread so I came to see the comments. From now on, whatever the comments are, I will stick to my plan to stay out of psynews in order to do some studying. Take care ppl, keep the goa music alive
  13. Blah, boring. I am gonna be gone from psynews for the rest of the year: I have had enough of this drama pond for the goa ducks; really have something better to do. If and when you stay: enjoy and don't forget to support all good goa artists and the music
  14. Now that's pretty thick. You don't want my help so leave it. This thread has gone bonkers way back there anywayz. I was the one trying to make some real discussion here before but ppl aren't up to it.
  15. Isn't it obvious: soon page 10
  16. Yep, very sad. And ignorance is sometimes a bliss, indeed. What are you talking about? Slavery? Like sex slavery, or?
  17. Makes me wanna puke http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/mother-who-married-son-faces-incest-charges-for-marrying-daughter-oklahoma-spann-us-a7231501.html
  18. Caster Semenya just won 400 meters women..would you @ SixZero Four4? I don't believe you train every day because you are always online in psynews
  19. Oh, don't you, please
  20. Haha, cool..I still don't know all the tracks by name. That's basically because I have Angels Trumpets in my mp3 player that does not show individual tracks..an old and good model
  21. I know..that's why I am stuck listening at the moment even tho I should do something else Addicting!
