  1. Anything by Frank Klepacki. I'm an absolute fanboy. The OSTs for the various Command & Conquer titles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cAFcnKLf8Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2MZzIhjlpY Hell's March baby ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HUWUtTZvK4
  2. You're in for a real treat. The first one is pretty dated (it actually runs on Neverwinter Night's Aurora Engine, which is clearly showing its age) technically-speaking but it oozes an incredible atmosphere. The second one I haven't enjoyed as much, it felt really clunky and railroaded (and I hate QTEs with a burning passion). I also felt that it lost quite a lot of the gritty atmosphere compared to the first episode and tried too much to delve into a Game of Thrones-esque narrative, plots within plots within plots and all that, but that's just taste. The combat fucking sucks though and that's a fact (especially if you enjoy Dark Souls-esque combat, which I "unfortunately" do) Blaze through it on easy mode just for the story, dive right into the 3rd one on "Deathmarch" difficulty, and never look back. The third one...Ahh. This is the real deal. I'm clocking 80-ish hours on it and I only started the first add-on (and I skipped tons of stuff in the vanilla game). Great story-telling, characters, music (Skellige has forever replaced Skyrim in my heart), vistas. Plus, you get to play Gwent and it rules! Combat is less clunky than TW2 and "feels" better, but it still could be perfected. All in all, for 26 bucks, you simply cannot go wrong. Say goodbye to any other games you might have planned on playing this year
  3. I have very fond memories of the feast that evening, Anu
  4. Aurora Borealis, first goa track I ever heard at the time.
  5. I somehow feel that a little "~edited by GoA SiT" should have made its way on to the "Now playing..." picture
  6. That line cracked me up (and also sums it up perfectly)
  7. You shouldn't do that, especially when it's heavily-modded. Think about the nightmare that will be the (inevitable) complete re-installation/re-stabilization process
  8. Around 1999 here, I think. I was 15 or so. My cousin was at my place for the holidays, and brought some good ole' CD-Rs with tons of mp3s from lots of different genres. I randomly selected a track, turns out it was "Aurora Borealis" by Astral Projection. First time I ever listened to what was called "Goa". It completely blew me away. Next in line was "Acid Air Raid", from Solar Quest, and the proverbial diner was served.
  9. I struggled enough not to make that joke, please don't make it harder than what it already is
  10. Got mine yesterday! Gonna give it a spin asap, even though I did already listen to it on YouTube "Edge of Solitude" really moved me, and I loved "Sabled Sun", with its guitar riffs. Great job !
  11. I'll also be going this year, I'd love to meet other psynewsers in person !
  12. Oh crap. I never noticed but...now that you mention it. What has been seen, cannot be unseen.
  13. Oh man, how could we forget...
  14. It was mostly in jest. Now if I play by the rules it'll go like this (in no particular order) . E-Mantra . Green Nuns of the Revolution . Prana . KURO . Solar Quest
