I also get what you mean - I just don't agree to that The posted tracks are very different indeed, but the first one is goa for me, while the second one is psychedelic techno. Ofc there is a world in between, it's a different (sub-) genre. They're made by the same guy .. and 2 weeks separate these tracks, not years.. Edit: what I wanna say with it, is that you will hardly find lot of innovation on the same genre. They rather invent a new name for it, so listening to 'year 2000 fullon' for 10 years, it will become boring. Absolutly agree to that, but that's more because they guys that add lots of organic pads call it dark fullon, the ones that do a lot of FM call it underground fullon, the ones that do lot of blingbling-shot call it UK fullon and if one doesn't play a snaredrum it's darkpsy suddenly. You absolutly need to leave the known genres / artists if you are want hear innovate sound, same genre won't have a lot of innovation, won't be same genre anymore otherwise.

Sounds all totally the same for me.. because I don't like (and understand) this kind of music, so I don't listen to details, but details are what makes it different. I don't agree with that. It's the case for the 'mainstream' sound, because they want to be mainstream (which is kind of the opposite to innovation). I mean.. I don't think that such people have a problem with innovation on the psy genres. I'm same.. I mainly listen to psy because there is such a huge variety of soundscapes.. from 130 to 200bpm.. from trancey to funky .. from cheesy to experimental .. from funny to aggressive .. you can find everything.. if you want. I only hear ppl complaining about missing innovation, that at the same time complain about that there is no more sound like it was on good old days.. cuz prog sucks and fullon sucks and dark sucks and hi-tech even more. Only thing that's ok is new-school goa.. but it sounds like old-school goa, no innovation.. BOOOOOORING !! :( -.-

Check out switzerland. + There are several parties every weekend, ranging prog to hightech/core + The 'normal' swiss people are a bit strange.. they are very friendly and obliging.. IF you have moneh. If you have no moneh they rather want you out of their country.. Switzerland is kind of the hippie-collecting-point for central Europe, so there are quite a lot of them and hippies are like they are everywhere.. no problem to find friendly fluffy/colorful folks + Just check out pictures and articles about switzerland.. they are in the middle of alps. Beautifully nature with lakes, mountains, ect and everyone takes care about the nature very much. Awesome public transport system, probably half of the country is a national park ( ) There are no real big cities there, although you won't miss it. Zürich feels like New York, but with the size of a village. It's very multicultural.. you can meeting everyone on the caffe-bar down the street .. from the mulit-mio-$$$ bank chairman to the flower power backpacker which just came back from india..

No limit for me - it's the groove not the bpm that matters. Have no problem to dance to 200+ if the synthwork feels like 140..while I do have a problem with 140 that feels like 400

+1 Also prefer the one pushing play on a pre-arrange set (but interacting with the growd) over the one that is busy with his kobs and doesn't even notice the ppl on the floor. (+2 for the ones that make it both together... very few though )

Again, no idea about Ormion, but I made the experience that this is the worst thing do to. For me "relaxing" means "doing nothing" .. and 'doing nothing' means having time to think about problems. That's also the problem with sleeping, I gues thinking about problems is what stops from sleeping. So would rather do the exact oppsite, look for an activtiy that gives you some challenge. Concentrate on something other than problems for a while.

@Ormion: No clue about what problems you have, so diffcult to give an tips.. but I handle problem-related stress like that: There are two types of problems, the ones you can solve and the ones you can't. Do what your doctor say on the first one. If you can rid of the problem, go and do it. No reason to not do so. The second one can't be solved obviously, so stop beeing worried about, it's out of your control. You can't get rid of it, even you are worried TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHT much, so just don't do it (THC / CBC can help on that, that's why I posted it) It's just my way of handling stress... @Radi Haven't read your post, already know what's written there.. have fun with your Trimipramin, Amitriptylin, Sertralin, .. or however it's called ..
