  1. David Thrussel is a fukin' smart man. I've seen him do spoken word and its a real treat. Black Lung is an acquired taste, bloody outstanding though. He has many projects. Snog is probably my favorite, simply cos' its catchy, extremely well structured, and very, very thought provoking. Mc Donalds banned his cover, brilliant! The artwork itself is amazing. Anyway, Thruster plays some nice DJ sets as well. He deserves respect, dig a little deeper and I'm sure you will agree. Plus he's an Aussie.
  2. Heaps of top tunes, heres a few that float my boat lately: Artifakt - Retch Naked Tourist - As well as U dance(Bomb the Bay edit) Procs - Aghast Pondscum - Out put 1-2 Rmx Fungus Funk - Trancefeilds RMX
  3. Squaremeat - Illegal Operation Don't make me destroy you..........
  4. I've heard of such things, remixes of that nature make me cringe. Anyway, its not a remix, and it certainly aint' goa. Its got a tasty sample, "all of which are American dreams". Pretty sure its Rage against.... Its by Peacespect - American falaffel. From Nabi records fukin' brilliant comp, R.M.R
  5. Scatterbrain - Possessed Hail the darkside.....
  6. Kemic-al..... bloody fantastic stuff, very intense. Check Smigle, 150 bpm and loads of LOTR samples. His album is awesome as well Any of the Schlabbaduerst comps are exterme, intense releases. Shift - Redline.... stunning album. I must agree with the Alienated recommendation. Fungus Funk is one o my faves. I cannot believe he doesn't have an album out yet....... WTF? where's the Derango album when you need it....????????????
  7. Always liked a humorous title... the nam shub of enki - noizzzzeee kuntz Ect & Mass - Angry little men (with sharp sticks) Neural Rectifier Syndrome - Rise of the black bin bags Deviant Species - A night to dismember Deviant Species - Spiritual beings in fluoro shirts and... Marchaos - Corollary of flesh Battle o the future buddhas - Battlebong Xenomorph - Silimaki murder tool kit Neuromotor - Fuck the dat mafia trance heaps more also. Non Psy. 8. Greetings N.T. The Delta are a truly mighty act! As are Spirallianz and Midi Miliz, which I'm sure you will have heard. I read your "thunder" post and thought of One way ltd from Spirallianz - Blast food. Awesome trak, has a stormy, thundery intro and is a very heavy tune indeed. cheers.
  9. Have too agree with Lumpi (Psychovader is a nice comp ). Blast Food is very blasting! You should also check Midi Miliz - Antistat. The Delta - Schizoeffective still takes the cake though.......
  10. Witchcraft the magic piece o' art that it is will be re-released on Avatar. Including a bonus trak - Faith. Check Saikosounds for the specifics. I finally got Cassandra on vinyl cos' i was having major trouble tracking her down on cd. Even Mark couldn't offer me more than a burnt copy! This is undoubtedly a classic album. I don't care what people choose to label it, its simply a standout achievement. If you have a background in the heavier side of things, this will rock your world. Many have known this from the beginning If anyone has the Obscure Spectre ep however, I will pay thee a handsome sum.... This is the benchmark for true horror Psy. Many pale imitators have come and gone. True old horror/gore samples, disturbing atmospheres and vibes. There may be dark, evil, tough night time tunes around, and they are incredible in their own right, but nothing, absolutely nothing compares to the mighty Xenomorph
  11. Mubali cheers for your reply. I had assumed that 40 acres and a mule was in reference to that particular historical scenario. I'd been puzzling as to where I had heard it used lyrically though for some time. I dragged out all the old P.E albums and narrowed it down to Fear of... and Apocalypse 91. I thought it was too much of a coincidence that you just happened to name your trak that, and I hope you don't mind my curiosity. I will however express once more my absolute enthusiasm for your tracks. 40 acres, relentless, delayed agression, shake lasta and m.o.e are the tracks i have. If these are some of your first few tracks then I cant wait for more Mubali in the future. Would love to hear some of the ones listed on your site. As i said before good luck with future releases. Cheers.
  12. Hoping to get this soon. Glad to hear you liked it Insejn. Nice words mate. Broken Toy traks have indeed rocked on various comps. The S.A sound is a stormin' style for sure New Shift soon. Hopefully Artifakt as well! Nice one Alchemy.
  13. Just wanted to say hello and cheers to Mubali for making such filthy tunes! Good luck with future releases Does 40 acres and a mule have any connection to Public Enemy - who stole the soul? ?? My tip : Dont spill beer on the mixer.
  14. Agree with most mentioned especially The Delta and Xenomorph. Azax Syndrom and Toxic's virtual cover of the mighty Slayer - Reign in Blood (Rain) Plus Azax did South of Heaven (South of Hell). Being a Ministry fan i was pleasantly surprised to hear Toxic use Psalm 69 at the end of the trak Violent. But the fave at the moment has to be Squaremeat - Wakawaa.
  15. Greetings Nightmare Trancer. The trak u be after is..... Syllabass vs U-Recken - Two Bastards (EST second session Doof recs)
  16. Not much mention of this so I better rectify that.... Heres the debut release fro Sanaton records. And fuk me gently with a chainsaw if it aint an utter belter. I suk at trak by trak descriptions, and couldnt accuratley describe sounds if my life depended on it. I usually go on the feel of reviews, so if if can do that i guess you'll understand. Think sweedish forest, think Derango, think shroomy madness. Heres the traklist: hALLUCINOGENIC hORSES - Psykatikk Sulky(w&p by Ola Eriksson, Emil Wennborn, Jens Eriksson & Johan Faldt) Syzgy -Zodiac (w&p by Johan Hellqvist, Jens Eriksson & Ola Eriksson) Atishoo - Evolution? v2 (w&p by Markus Ryman & Johan Hellqvist) Derango - Welkin (w&p by u know who) Sykoroknyx - Ergot (w&p by Andreas Werner) Traskel - Somniak (w&p by Markus Ryman) Procs - Aghast (w&p by Mikael Stegman) Ka-Sol - Easy as a fact (w&p by Gravedigga) Kaiko - Local Plants (w&p by Per Johansson) I bothered to include names because if you noticed, or give a shit, their are many collaborations going on! Quite simply this is an excellent debut from the swedish psychos @ Sanaton. Completley at home in a nice comfy nocturnal forest. Go dance your ass off. The cover and inlay are absolutely spot on. No evil pretence here, just tasty, twisted tunes galore. A breath of fresh forest air if you will. Contact the lads @ www.SanatonRecords.com Alittleundregroundneverhurtanyone.............
  17. There are many recent albums i have and love, that don't get mentioned at all around these parts. However, upon reading some peoples faves for last year and seeing Suria - Logical Evolution, it has me bamboozled as to why no one has mentioned the follow up. Not even a piss poor drunken rant! Its a 2 cd album for fuks sake!! I'm not going into much of a description about the sounds, I'm more interested in seeing what others thought of it. This deviates from logical evolution and gets seriusly bangin'! I bloody loved his previous work and and any complainers about his trak on zen 2 can munch my frozen urine blocks. This is released on Deja vu mind you. Just wanted to hear if anyone liked or hated it. I fukin' love it. Bang on Suria. Play this loud...
  18. Personally i really like this comp. But i like this style. Everything that Healuim wrote, I feel the exact opposite. Dark, relentless, more please! each to their own. Maybe a check of the tracklist would have been a good idea, I mean Derango, Mubali, Psyfactor, Savage Scream, Dronebixie. What the fuck did u expect?? As Gnome said thats funny. No. Thats not funny, thats fuckin' funny. Those who have a clue about this style will love this. And please no pissy 'dark psy' comparisons. Quite frankly this whole 'lets lump it all in one basket cause I've only bought 6 cd's' shit is getting boring. Dark psy, fukin' evil psy is as useless a term as full on. Its all music. Not all Goa is the ducks nuts either. Absolutely massive cheers out to Trishula and all crews involved in this comp. This seriously floats my boat. Mushy Mystery......
  19. Zenon records. I've got these... check... Permutations check... Intelligent Manipulation big fat deep chuggy crunchy progressive
  20. Hats off to Trishula, three out of three aint' bad! Fantastic comp, bloody creepy too. This is how i like my psytrance. The mystery of the mushy will continue...
  21. Run motherfucker run(Nabi recs) comp (well done Emmanuel and the Nabi crew!) Megalopsy - The abstract Machine(Trishula) Mushy Mystery(Trishula) comp (Trishula certainly know how to rock!!) Kemic al - Twisted Parameters(Butterfly recs) (what a krankin, massive release.) Intelligent Manipulation(Zenon recs) comp (big, deep, thumpin prog!) Booo(Doof recs) comp (cover matches perfectly, no attempted evil nonsense, just wicked tunes to rock your ass, well done again Doof crew!!) Boldly Audio(Sanaton) comp (Cheers Daniel and the Sanaton crew for a damn fine first release, more please!) Psychedelically Yours 3(Parvati) comp (low down dirty psy for the mind. Stunning releases from the First Step!) Ctrl alt delete(Stone age) comp (more forest mayhem, lovely) Midnight Storm(Nexus media) comp (with Mr Shift at the controls, Artifakt mastering and a tasty track list, she be a right corker!) Kindzadza and friends (i aint got it yet, but you just know. ) Plus some guy called Cosmosis just released a new album......
  22. Thank fuk some sanity has prevailed in this discussion. What about the massive amount of simply twisted aural mayhem that gets released or unr and is hardly noticed? I cant believe that the same "GMS clone, fuck Skazi and Astrix rhetoric is continiually regurgitated! Its as if we have a boxing ring and the red corner is the "ol' skool goa heads" and the blue corner is the "new wave full on crew" and the rest of us are in the audience yelling "hurry up and belt the christ out of one another so we can piss off and listen to some decent tunes" Hey Insejn! Nice one. Do you have both releases? Are you comparing them through listening? My Midnight storm hasn't arrived yet, I really enjoy timecode stuff, that Artifakt - Nosferatu trak is simply amazing. Hail the Artifakt. Personally i couldn't give a flying fuck what full on is, but I will recommend one recent release that is simply psy mayhem. Psy yours 3 - Parvati recs. Its just great, brutal psy. Fix the fluff.....
  23. Snug as a Bug - Imitate People ...... if you enjoyed that, you'll definatley enjoy Droidlock - High phonic for a replicant. Dig that tribal fury Imitate People (title trak) definite fave.
  24. Consider your happiness shared Gnome! Derango is........ a cut above.
