  1. www.aavepyora.net is all you need to feel optimistic.
  2. All I can say is... if you can't bother with the tracklist I can't bother downloading.
  3. For once I see a really interesting tracklist. Too bad I can't download it. :/ The 5 last tracks need no introduction - all I can say is that the Patroller dude seems to have close to perfect goa taste nodules.
  4. Saw Koxbox 2 days ago, sounded much better than I had in mind. Might've been booze, the forest and beautiful girls that tricked me thou...
  5. I haven't had change to go through too many albums unfortunately, but... Outolintu - Odd Man Out e. Vibrasphere's new on is quite a corker too, eh?

No problemos, Fede. I think there's still some way to go before you reach the skill where noticing track change becomes impossible. Good music always makes up for it thou. I'm sorry but I think I'll skip the Blue Moon mix as I don't really enjoy D5/Ra/etc sound at all. It wouldn't be fair to give a rating in the first place. But I'll do one for you as soon as I see you posting a mix with a tracklist that tickles my ears. ;o)
  7. Aavepyörä & Simon Posford Booka Shade & Outolintu Monolake & Sarah Connor Ricardo Villalobos & Autechre Carl A. Finlow & Basic Channel ...for example. I tried to pick artists that are really different so what they might sound together would be surprising.

Quite nice. Few of the tracks are really good, especially Amanite FX, Raia and Motor Mouse, which I hadn't heard before so it really came as a pleasant surprise. The early Shiva Chandra sound was maginificent. The mixing is technically alright, it's not easy to make goa tracks blend into each other. Thou some transitions frankly hurt my ear as the contrast between tracks is so drastic. I'm talking about amanite fx (melodious morning tune) -> ect (dark fx trickery) and the same would go for subcouds -> xenomorph. I found xenomorph and especially labyrinth track not fitting the mood of the mix. Labyrinth track was actually pretty boring. I enjoyed the transition of raia -> encens as the tracks share similar soundscapes and glue together nicely. Also the ambientish transition from encens -> motor mouse was good. It's nice to see a dj having skill to make different solutions when changing from track to track. The best transition was definitely motor mouse - miranda! the ending of motor mouse is very hypnotic as the melody repeats itself many times and miranda really fitted as the next track. You also played the tracks longer simultaneously and the change of track was almost insensible. I would say the mixing was ok, track selection good, flow quite average. So I would give this mix a grade of 6/10. thanks for sharing.
  9. 20 yrs ago house was nothing like today. It was funny, sexy, daring, used lots of samples and had the bestest basslines ever. here's a link to discogs where you can check the track out. It blends harmoniously great female voice and moog synth. And the bassline, mm'yea.
  10. Let's go 20 years back and dig out a classic house track... krush - house arrest (the beat is the law)
  11. comps: Air Born - Really great tracklist on this one. Especially all the Sean Williams' tracks are very well crafted. Koxbox's remix of Slinky is very accessible and melodic, good rework I would say. Then BPC hits with their perhaps most goa-nish track to date, quite simple but well made. Do I even have to mention Slinky's remix of James Bond theme must be one of the best rmxes...ever? Only Darshan and SUNE are below par. albums: Green Nuns - Rock Bitch Mafia - Oh the 303 trickery! You're bound to go mental listening to this. Every track is great and that can't be said about many albums. The samples are all wacko and the explosion after "prepare to hurtle through the cosmos!" is one of the most captivating moments I've heard in goa trance.
  12. It's easier and faster to give me money. I'm lazy, but not that lazy I wouldn't walk to the nearest mall to buy some of dat bearish good... So send me money already I'm starving (to get drunk).
  13. the postage to send a beer case? opening the beer after it has been "carefully treated" in the post office? :clapping: And hey, I have every reason to brag about beer bear
  14. buy some cds so I can afford more booze, plz.
  15. Pedro's case was merely an example, any fair offer will do (Pedro being an ultimate example in prices). Separate pinned thread doesn't sound too smart idea to me. It's just more effort to go through it and probably many wouldn't even check it out that often. There's just no point in complaining if somebody shows a better deal. It's only about giving an option for the buyer where to choose from.
  16. In my perspective, if possible you should always inform people of better deals. That's being fair. I'm all happy if you do the same in my thread, althou I never give any prices so it's always up to negotiation. Giving people info for better options can't be considered as a personal attack towards the thread starter. Of course he or she might get upset for losing a deal, but then again if he really made a good and fair offer to begin with, who would come complaining or pointing out better deals? Have you ever seen anybody complaining about Pedro's topics where he sells cds for 2 euros a pop?
  17. yeah at least check out the timewriter, he has released couple brilliant albums... not to be missed
  18. If I had to choose top-3 technossomy trax those would follow fo'shu
  19. I'm not being unfair, quite the opposite. I'm informing people who might be interested in this cd. If they feel like buying you a new cd from saiko instead of paying few euros, indeed they can do that.
  20. here's some sweet flawa candy suga tekno/house jams of the late (or the past as you can notice): jacek sienkiewicz - dream machine wired - to the beat of the drum akufen - skidoos christian morgenstern - hawaii blue ricardo villalobos - que belle epoque 2006 paris grey - don't make me jack ame - rej stefan goldmann - sleepy hollow d.diggler - acid blain audion - t*tty f*ck goa and psy... lately I've noticed how good these sound: oood - cthullu kailash - higher aavepyörä - vapausvoima astral projection - cosmic ascension hux flux - time slices etnica - vimana miranda - labyrinth toi doi - nuage d'encens funkopath - skweel hallucinogen - any track of 95-97 will do, the man did no wrong.
  21. hah, that was quick. thinking it has all the presets of the etnica era too, quite priceless indeed.
  22. you should mention it's absolutely easy to get this cd for next to nothing, as I did. I made a short query and once again: quirk for one cent

    X-Dream - Radio

Jon, I usually like your reviews but giving electromagnetic just b+ is blasphemy. that track has everything you could hope for in a psy track. it's relentless, crushing, bombing track that distorts every concept you could have had about psy before listening to it. It builds builds and builds and in the end the vibe is so lunatic you have hard time keeping yourself sitting in the chair.
  24. or you have mp3s/bad stereo system.
  25. I think the album is pretty average apart from VTOL which is, as said by many, a brilliant tune!
