  1. those are good labels indeed! DJ Koze and Ferenc albums on Kompakt are super. Minus is nice too. I like the two Plastikman albums, two Theorem albums and the richie hawtin mix I have from them. From Cocoon I only have Jacek Sienkiewicz's Displaced, but be warned it's nothing short of amazing. psy-oriented: tribal vision (altho I only have Roman Rai album) Aavepyörä Records, nothing but quality Faerie Dragon would take the last spot, altho there's no order really.
  2. Went to the local record store for a visit... Found one nice surprise: I haven't heard such sexy music in a loong time. Check this out if you need music to play fo da ladies. ^_o
  3. I don't need to, my taste is perfect already.
  4. I got good news for you, just clean your ears and the syndrome is gone! There's no cure for STG syndrome tho, unless the Hallucinogen 3 will be bad...
  5. Yeah I'm in! Let's celebrate his greatness on sunday, see you there.
  6. Hello I'm Oopie and I also suffer from STG syndrome *hi Oopie!*
  7. Listening to Booka Shade's Movements album... the whole album is so good I can't decide just one track. Wish I'd hear something like this in a party. http://www.discogs.com/release/684196
  8. =)
  9. Yes, as long as I'm honest with myself. And although my post was quite harsh, I did give two examples of new school goa acts I like, so you can't go saying I dismiss anything that's new. I'm in no way against evolution. There are ways to do goa people probably haven't even thinked yet. I don't mind all the crap released, since the more it's made, the more there are chances to hear something excellent too! It doesn't usually take more than 3-4 listens so I can make up my mind about a goa track. It's not really a hard thing to do to spot immortal melodies or something divine when you hear it. And about Etnica... I agree not all their tracks were awesome. But even the worst ones were ok, not crappy. And the best ones... I can listen to them daily and get the shivers! <3
  10. return of the melodies? random synth noises are not melodies how hard you argue. most of the new school goa is pure crap imo. suntrip hasn't released anything so far I would consider more than 3/5 of rating. sorry for being so harsh, I don't want to spoil the spirit of newcomers or be grumpy. it's just... if you've heard something as good as etnica for example... you never will get satisfied for anything less, and you shouldn't either! I believe as long as you're true to yourself it's going well. the two artists that have something special up their sleeves, both from funland... aavepyörä -> www.aavepyora.net intriga -> www.mikseri.net/intriga check em out, if you're old school lover and think they suck I publicly reveal I have bad taste.
  11. Last time I sent you email about the hallu albums, no answer... thanks! it was great to deal with you, any time again.

    New MOS!

jäbä ei vaan tiedä hyvää ku kuulee. ps. I haven't heard "drive" damn! everybody are giving it such good grades I must get it on my hands, the only MOS album I'm missing...
  13. About 100 cds, which of about half is pie-related. First cd I bought was Ubar Tmar's Fusion... although I paid quite a lot money from it, I still don't regret as it regularly spins in the player and sounds utterly fantastic. Fav'e eh? Like asking which of your balls you prefer. I'm instantly thinking of Koxbox's Dragon Tales which I think is perfect from a to z. However I sold it for a crazy good price. So my answer after all rethorics would be... Aavepyörä - Electro Fluoro Punx will change after I get the Hallucinogen albums. The rarest thing in my collection would be the Etnica debut album, or perhaps a 15-cd box called "The History Of The House Sound Of Chicago". Very little compilations, they so rarely are great overall. I support my own alcohol drinking first, if I have money I might go to suomi gig.
  14. "In my book he's not God. I'm not lying." Liar. "You perhaps are lying that the topic is pinned!" I think no one will believe your big fat stinking liar words after you gave a false testament about Simon the Mighty.
  15. No, I'm absolutely confident it's seriously bad taste this time around.
  16. you're either trolling or you just happen to have seriously bad taste. I don't think time should be given any value when giving an opinion about music. These sort of details (time, artist, label) are unimportant for me at least. My only focus is on the music itself, that way my opinion about some track is as honest as possible. Yeah in the 90s there wasn't stuff that sounded like this. There still isn't, not even remotely. Hallucinogen raised the bar too high for others. Of course there are artists you could value as high as Hallucinogen, but as said they don't sound or try to sound like him.
  17. Yeah. It's clearly stated in the topic description that this topic is pinned. Mods, you don't want to show yourself as liars do you? Pin this topic, NOW.

    New MOS!

I also like it. Very nice sort of goa-ish early progressive, a bit in the same vein as Shiva Chandra's deput. Yeah back on topic, where is MOS? I want new album already!
  19. I can't download a thing? I just hear the music on the link you gave...
  20. but of course that post wasn't meant for you but that evil pagan rino.
  21. I'm also eager to get these cds. Especially those Tea Chairs choons as the rmx of Mondo Suzuki Omnigod was one of the first trax to get me where I am. Take those, add the latest from Logic Bomb and Transwave and we get my list.
  22. This guy got it all but decided to do the good ol' Judas Iscariot on Godford. Shame
  23. Simon is sucha bastard!
  24. just buy the test album for 10 euros and use the rest for a good picnic outside with some lovely woman company.
  25. thanks Mark! your "ramblings" are highly appreciated bit of trivia. "The annoying thing (for me) is that the Howling version previous to the actual release was imho an even better track with an even greater peak (the melodies and effects just lifting stratosperically out of the main track and swirling around even more) but he released his last version. I wish I still had the previous version - it was a gem." Man you can't say stuff like this. Imagining there is even a possibility to make howling at the moon a better track just drives me crazy. You should def ask if Billy still has the prev. version gathering dust on some hard drive.
