nah, doesn't go that way by my book. you can think ofc whatever you want as the "true acid" sound. the other thing is that people's views differ and it's perfectly okay to give acid goa recommendations too in a topic like this.

well of course you can use tb-303 to make basslines too. but when it's used to make that "high-pitched" sound, then of course it does (especially in the cosmosis case). they're a synonym. for me, acid techno is no more "acid" than is acid goa.

Yeah some early Cosmosis tracks are very acidic. Gift of the Gods or Howling at the Moon for example.
