  1. I might get this wrong but... Think of beautiful -> beauty then luxurious -> "luxor" could be? anyways it's the music that mattarghs
  2. The best album of 2008 this far... my recommendations!
  3. I would also enjoy if there was released more maximal music... seems to come by rarely these days, or perhaps I'm not keeping up very good? Full On seems to rely on two things: the rolling bassline which is ok by me. The 2nd is those really long, strecthed breaks where you wait 10-30 secs to get the bassline back...fuckin tiresome More layers, less breaks, thanks.
  4. john tejada - cleaning sounds is filthy business frank martiniq - boxer 50 jubilee hug - heroes and some more... pedro's the man.
  5. aight I'll take my notes I have siili hair, red shorts, bear beer in my hand... prolly helps a lot!
  6. hey also you ought to check out the compilation "tales from the forest". there's a few hux flux/logic bomb tunes on that one! "runtime error" by logic bomb is my 2nd fav'e track right after "shadow of..."
  7. I don't remember what you look like man! but if you're able to spot me let's have a chat!
  8. I also like Hux Flux and Logic Bomb a lot... zeck out: Troll Scientists - Useless Science artifakt - artifakts 2 (prolly "the magus" too but I personally haven't heard it yet ) Those two are safe bets.
  9. francois kevorkian - masterpiece - "tokyo" smooth relaxed mix...
  10. added some cds. help me have a good konemetsä festival...
  11. Great scene in Funland! We have a few bigger party organizers who really put in a lot of effort. I like suomisaundi and well, you can guess what they mostly play here. Even the full-on DJs seem to have better than average taste and you don't have to witness awful full of breaks sets so often. Forest parties are very well thought thru. If they're legal, the organizers contact the authorities to make sure everything's fine. Illegal parties are somewhere so deep in the forest police really doesn't even bother... Example of tonite's party: The organizer makes the bar owner to pay the PA and promises lots of people buy drinks to cover the costs. All the artists come to play for fun and ask zero cash. Therefore: the damage is 0 euros to get in. And what you'll hear is goa, good full-on, progressive... like in the rave days when it was just about hearing great music and having good time all the time.
  12. If it didn't already catch your attention... Children of the Bong - Sirius Sounds Never heard anyone say bad word about it.
  13. rhythm is shythm mythm - it is what it is excellent techno track, thanks mista may.
  14. This thread refuses to die - mods make it easier for everybody and just PIN it.
  15. Of course not all cases are the same. For example, Tutankhamon 9000 album's track titles are meant to be witty and understood by general masses. Some artists are clearly just what some of you figured out here - trying to be funny and failing. But the best - like TF - is just what you wrote above yss... häröily for the sake of it, black humour
  16. Shiva Chandra's deput, Spicy Moments, although having a few uptempo numbers, is generally very relaxed album with beautiful goa-melodies. It's one of my all time fav'es and I'm not afraid to recommend it!
  17. I guess you just need to have a funnish mindset to ged'ose names. It's not about being funny, id'about "häröily". Häröily - loosely - would mean about laughing at the people who consider the artists actually trying to be funny and failing. When it wasn't the case to begin with...
  18. Someone seems to have nicked my password @ discogs and given this cd a rating of 1/5. Having not heard it ever myself it's not an option I did it... I changed the password hope the foolishness stops there.
  19. finnish artists are often self-ironic/non-serious if you still didn gedit.
  20. I always feel the last track should be the most furious of em all.
  21. Damn I'd give my left arm to hear those tracks at a party! Although you should've left Pleiadians by Pleiadians as the last number...
  22. What's with the bad line-ups? Even the Konemetsä festival booked GMS and Astrix as their main performers... yikes! Luckily the Suomi posse will come to the rescue
  23. Shiva Chandra - Spicy Moments Bypass Unit - Dropz Of... Both Hallucinogen Etnica - Alien Protein I wish there were more of the mellow progressive kinda goa like Shiva Chandra
  24. Hey Flaringo considering what you enjoyed, seems like you enjoy good melodies, yet you prefer the modern day dynamic rolling basslines... so I'm kinda the wrong guy to tell as I'm old school to the bone. Nevertheless... My friend Intriga has made some great music you ought to enjoy...great melodies but with up-to-date production. Intriga - a ghost story http://d5.mikseri.net/m/9d8/100008006415/I...ost%20story.mp3 Intriga - Stupify http://d4.mikseri.net/m/9f0/80005295597/In...es%20goa%29.mp3
