  1. You've by any chance heard Trans-Lucid's self titled? http://www.discogs.com/release/232416 I just recently heard it and it's awesome! Koxbox-esque miniscule synth sounds sewed together, just the kind of psychedelia that won't bore you no matter how many times you cane the cd. To give you an idea it's a bit reminiscent to early more melodic Process' tracks. The drum programming on the album is a bit so and so but the knob tweaking and ideas more than make up for it. This jumped in my top-10 goa albums right away after I heard it. I recommend you check it out too. At the time of writing, one copy is available for 20 euros in discogs...
  2. "I have been listening to Dimension 5 - Transdimensional, Transwave - Backfire, Cosmosis - Cosmology, and Pleiadians - IFO - all these albums use the same pallet of sounds and same melodic style.." nope. "This lack of creativity is the case nowadays as well with the Suntrip compils - Afgin, Artifact303, Astrancer, Khetzel - there are subtle differences but none of these artists have a distinct sound such that I could hear one of their tracks and recognize it as them - I would be like "well this track could be either Artifact303 or Afgin, or maybe Astrancer" nope. I'm good at arguing as you can see. End of discussion.
  3. Lot of classical music I've heard sounded too chaotic, meaning it just doesn't sound harmonous and I can't remember the melodylines and structures after hearing a piece. I also tend to think the instruments often used just don't sound as good as electronic equipment used in goa. :drama: (this smiley seems fitting)
  4. Misjah & Tim - Access classic for a reason, I say.
  5. my digital enemy - wasted pretty pop but sometimes you gotta give your sugar tooth a treat
  6. whow! superb news! I'm gonna buy more than just one copy... ;-) thanks draeke for putting so much effort on this. when's it gonna come out?
  7. if you liked va - no tone unstirred.... maybe troll scientists - useless science always gets crowd going here in funland.
  8. Dimension 5's music to my ears sounds too simple. The melodies are okay but lose the magic when repeated too many times during the track. But it's taste as we know.
  9. Yah I'll grab that one when I get the chance. Dial is solid.
  10. Why not share rare OOP music with people who might enjoy it? I don't see the slightest difference if it's a "random stranger" or a close friend. Asking money, well each to their own, but I wouldn't do that.
  11. It's 3xCD of house and techno in round metal box.
  12. time to bump this.
  13. being - tides stevie be-zet - archaic modulation global communication - pentamerous metamorphosis sun electric - 30.7.94 Live
  14. Being - Tide One To Three (21:53) Where to start where to stop? I could start by saying I'd wish this track never to stop, lol. It's ambient of the highest caliber I've heard. The attention to detail is huge and to keep such coherence thruout 20 minutes is really a work of art. Taken from "Tides" album, I suggest you buy it if you see it.
  15. the new bigwigs, tutankhamon 9000, outolintu, va - no tone unstirred
  16. sun electric - live 94 mesmerising ambient
  17. I could dance to this at some party. But for home listening the tracks lack the depth and innovation. In the end, pretty basic full-on.
  18. It's Dino Psaras & Simon Posford - Voodoo Witchdoctor Unreleased...
  19. If that's not collectorism I don't know what is! Good I've kept all the OBIs I received
  20. recently got: Stevie Be-Zet - Archaic Modulation Kaito - Special Life 2562 - Aerial LSG - Into Deep Loud - Some Kind of Creativity :posford:
  21. very good selection, I'd chill to that! If you're into Plaid remember to check out "Ralome" (on Rest Proof Clockwork), "Coat" (on P-Brane Ep) and the remix of Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five's Scorpio (on Parts in the Post). They're my Plaid fav'es. I'm list'n 2562 - Channel Two This is where music is heading next I reckon - the fusion of dubstep and techno. This guy is brilliant. There's awesome reverb on synths making them slide, for that deeeep feel. If you like dubstep, techno or reggae (?) I think you ought to check this one out at youtube.
  22. Yes yes. I like goa too Joske would you believe that? It's just I've also listened to goa for quite some time now. My standards have raised really high. I almost exclusively listen to old Etnica/Pleiadians because they just have the talent for songwriting like no else. Your releases - I appreciate them for the spirit. I even love a few tracks, Red Gravity's Momentary 29 for example. Just that usually I find the melodies on your releases to be quite inoffensive, nothing that would make me gasp. Actually nothing I remember too well after the track is finished. All the huge classics of goa have clear melodic structure you can remember. I'm very excited of your comment of releasing tracks by some major old schoolers. Keep up the good work!
