  1. Well that's always an issue up for debate (well, actually, no it isn't...). The compilation "Trust In Trance 3" (which on later pressings became AP's "Trust In Trance" album, even with the same Phonokol Cat# but no Trust In Trance Records Cat# and all tracks credited to AP intead of AP/SFX/Aban Don) was AFAIK released before "The Astral Files". Also, it would make sense at least to me to release an album with remixes after the originals have been released but you never know But I'd say that Trust In Trance is usually seen as AP's first album.
  2. Still Dreaming (Anything Can Happen) Visions of Nazca (Ambient Mix) from Raja Ram's Pipe Dreams The Astral Files is not their first album.
  3. Music keeps popping up in my dreams on a semi-constant basis. Most recently, last night in my dream I was fiddling around with a guitar and an amp, and perhaps some kind of band was involved but the details are a bit hazy (as usually with dreams). And I've also made lots of kickass tracks in my dreams, only to forget them the instant I wake up
  4. Well maybe not directly psy-related. She's done some collaborative work with Bluetech.
  5. Marina Sostaric (Sectio Aurea, Argot Digamma)
  6. No hardware synths? (not that it really matters nowadays anyway, just asking out of pure interest) Oh, and looks like you're probably playing at the only Finnish festival I won't be able to go to it seems...
  7. Pi Kiviharju (Lilith) Mel & Sam (Astralasia) Yulia Levchenko (NeiRula, Sphingida) Jaqcueline Kersley (Ishq, Ishvara, Elve) Natasha Chamberlain (worked with Seb Taylor on a few of his projects) Alla Vagner (Maiia) Rena Jones Zoe Jackson (Z To A) Sastra Rothfield (Raja Ram's daughter, worked on a few projects with the GMS guys in the '90s)
  8. Not implying that there wouldn't be any other great tracks on it
  9. There's no one that sounds like him. Quite an achievement in these days of cookie cutter psy of various flavours.
  10. FWIW, they've also been in steady decline, after In Search Of A Meaningful Moment. I didn't like the live album at all :/
  11. To be honest, I never even expected Simon and Raj to release a second Shpongle album back then, and I still fail to see what's so remarkable about Tales. Nothing Lasts was much better in fusing the acoustic with the electronic and keeping a coherent atmosphere throughout the entire album. After that it's been more or less a steady decline with the latest album falling flat on its face. It has even less of an idea what it wants to be than Tales. So to sum it up, here's my personal Shpongle top 10: 1. Are You Shpongled? 2. Are You Shpongled? 3. Are You Shpongled? 4. Are You Shpongled? 5. Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost 6. Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost 7. Ineffable Mysteries From Shpongleland 8. Tales of the Inexpressible 9. The God Particle 10. Museum of Consciousness
  12. No problem, reported and link also shared
  13. Damn that sucks And sorry if this seems like a stupid question but what actually am I supposed to write in the report you linked on your tumblr page, here? Just that I searched for a page called Neogoa and I can't seem to find it? Anything else? :DDDDDDDD
  14. FLAC (and all other lossless compression) is inherently gapless. See here
  15. Oh yes, forgot to mention that the setup is upgraded. The AK1 hiccups with my new computer so there's an ESI Juli@ XTe taking care of that now. And the Behringers had to go. Welcome Adam A7X. These things sound FANTASTIC
  16. 7GB, err WTF, really? You don't buy games on Steam or watch much streaming HD video with that.
  17. Well, I admit, it's a ridiculously fun track to dance to given the right occasion
  18. I honestly can't remember. Probably not much, but enough to have known that it exists.
