  1. Ace Ventura is far from the worst example of this kind of minimal drop-infested culture. Go check the average Brazil psytrance-festival video on youtube for a truely horrific experience :p promo-videos posted by artists only feature the drop-points because that's the (only) part where people go wild. Example: Edit: Missing the times where drops were called climaxes.
  2. Thanks to Discogs, this question got a lot easier to answer https://www.discogs.com/style/goa+trance According to the graphic, we're talking about more than 4.500 releases with Goa Trance released in the nineties (which could also mean CD's with only one Goa track, I suppose). Vinyls included. Case dismissed :p
  3. There's a video circulating on FB that allegedly shows him playing on the party a few minutes before he got shot... he was playing his remix on Astral Projection - Let There Be Light
  4. Alienapia plays in parties...will perform in the upcoming Connection festival afaik!
  5. +1 for this topic I enjoy tracks with long teabreaks that build up towards a big momentum!

  8. very small scene I believe, mostly in small bars with crowds of 50-100 people max no? That seems to have been the ongoing situation in the greek scene for the last decade, but the fact it's still ongoing proves there's at least some real lovers of the genre around there which is nice.
  9. Isn't this the documentary featuring the infamous "kyklous" dude? :p
  10. New goa/nitzhogoa from our siberian friend Arkadii! Buy it now @ https://beatspacesita.bandcamp.com/album/varvar
  11. Good tracks indeed, powerful melodic isra-goa. A relief to hear a new israeli producer making this style instead of all that boring progoa in the last few years. : p

  13. Only recently bumped onto this belgian clubtrance classic from 1996. Can't believe it passed under my radar for so many years... Anyway, yeah..."normal" trance rocks! :))

  17. To make things even more messy, they actually did make a track called Midian remix, which is also definetely a remix of Midian!
  18. Well I beg to differ ...this is exactly the sort of (goa) trance that sticks with me and mind you, i'm a big melody lover. The thing that mr. Castle absolutely nailed for me is the very particular groove and rhythmic aspect he integrates in his tracks, which is often overlooked in a lot of modern 4 on the floor goatrance. Also, his melodies, ideas and fx'es carry a clear "out-of-the-box" stamp and really tingle my senses! Recommended by all means!
  19. The Dasvidanya track caught me by surprise! What a cool rave-groove in this tune!
  20. My personal favorites would be his contributions under the Rhythmystec moniker, but honestly there's so many other projects this dude was involved in, it's hard to list them all... https://www.discogs.com/artist/39184-Rhythmystec
