  1. FYI we all are talking about Mixing here not mastering. Mastering is post-processing, mixing is controling the volume levels within the sequencer. Radi when I first produced a track I almost shit myself I thought it was so good. But the truth is your first couple of tracks are never good, only promising. And even if you make something awesome, someone will always have something bad to say about it - you have to accept this and learn from it or ignore it and continue doing what you want. Your track has promising synths, I'm impressed of the sounds you are using - but that is only one part. Really the music is what we listen to not how close the synths sound to hallucinogen's gear from 1996. Hallucinogen now doesn't even sound like "hallucinogen" if you know what I mean. The sounds don't matter, its how they are used. My advice is that you have something going on for you but if you want to be successful and you want to bring something new, never try to follow an artist. You can be inspired but don't follow them otherwise you aren't bringing anything new. Like with this track, I hear some hallucinogen sounds and old synths but I don't much care, I've listened ot plenty of hallucinogen and its a great accomplish, but if you're trying to make his style you will never succeed for the simple fact that he did it first, no matter how closely you follow it.
  2. Left you a review I'm showing this to friends. Hilarious!
  3. Track 6 - Life is a Strange Journey... I heard it a long time ago in this vid at psysurfeur - MFG Live 11.2004 (Belgium) Been trying to find it ever since, no wonder I had no success, it wasn't released yet, haha. It plays around 4:00 in the vid, along with some other tracks from their new album. Somehow...maybe due to the quality the versions in their live acts sounds more old school...or maybe its just due to the messed up sound quality.
  4. Tracklist scrolls at the end of the movie, there are like 50 tracks
  5. Lars, we definately need a tracklist Awesome! There is some serious talent here. Take that isratrance
  6. Hey now there is our winner Its closest to the original intent of the title too. The play on words with the VA part still works. Various Artists Twisting Dreams.
  7. Twisted Dreams makes the most sense but is also the most cliche. Twist Dreams is not fluid english, the word that describes Dream is an Adjective (Twisted is an adjective) but if Twist is seen as a verb it could work...a little... Other words that mean Twist that could work betterare: curtesy of http://thesaurus.reference.com/ Contorting Dreams (hehe track two is called Contorsion, it exactly means "twist") Tangled Dreams Spinning Dreams Twirling Dreams Snarling Dreams Genuflected Dreams Unfortunately all those sound like track names. Twist Dreams is fine, this isn't a big deal Actually if you blow out the title - V/A - Twist Dreams.... it would be "Various Artists Twist Dreams" and then it makes perfect sense! And I actually like the title even more now
  8. To celebrate, heres an extract of something Aerosis worked on today Enjoy guys! Aerosis - Trip to the Infected World (extract) (work in progress) We've been expiramenting with a wide variety of styles and sounds...getting closer to achieving the effect we want to give with our music bringing out a sound we believe should exist... Mushroom Goa, Afterglow Goa? We'll figure it out
  9. #2 spot, and longest track on the compilation?? I'm honored, the intro to contorsion should set everyone into that dreamy state Can't wait to hear what everyone else has instore. Thanks Anoebis!!
  10. 1:40 Hallucinogen "LSD" melody good you is copying at. for great happiness, everyone you now listen! =^.^= Happy! (^____^)
  11. Hey what the hell I'm listening to these and they are all amazing...what the hell happened to this music, where did it go?? I mean it, this music is so good...there isn't one track that I lost attention on...(as opposed to psytrance releases where 1 or 2 songs will be good out of 10, and thats if I'm lucky) Tracklist! Tracklist!
  12. The a really good, alot of stuff I haven't heard! Much appreciation for putting these together These'll be my favorite mixes to go through the next couple of weeks or so! Tracklist please? It would be great to hear you complete this set up to 2006
  13. Some of you have likely heard him before...really amazing music. Recently he has been using alot more goa influences, but taking it to 170BPM Check it out, Supriya is beautiful. http://www.myspace.com/alekszahala1 Thoughts on this kind of style? Discuss
  14. I have a track I've done under the Aerosis project (Contorsion) that will be on Suntrip's next compilation which should be ready towards the end of the year. A brand new sound of goa, it should be nothing short of amazing I've had great feedback from those who've heard it so far. We (myself + Tempestuous, the best person I've ever made music with) are not "signed" or anything, the talks were for that track only, ...perhaps...until the Aerosis promo album is ready As for the uplifting and funky..which do you have in mind? Mindcrawlers is largely expiramental work, each track has been different from the last - we have just been searching for unique sounds. I'm not sure if there will be more Mindcrawlers anytime soon, it will depend on whether Psyrius is interested in producing again and whether I get tired of the goa I've been trying 2 years to come up with. I'm glad people actually listen to my music to be honest. Such an unpopular genre of music we've chosen to love but this thread is about Cybernetica! so STFU!
  15. I've been catching up on some recent tracks. Scourge Supremacy...wow...this is rediculously good - and Lars you've caught up on the quality now, before you had some awkward bits with frequencies and certain fx, but youv'e got this balanced really well...better than well actually. Good enough for reference pretty much Oh aside from technical mumbo gumbo... the music is not only unique but astounding as well...Lars keep this style up, your psytrance blended with your dark/industrial vibes works really well! (On me ) 5:00 is beautiful, its been a long time since psytrance can make me smile
  16. Do you guys know about Quantic Chill records? Its also doing the netlabel stuff http://www.quantic-chill.com/site/
  17. For the past 3 months I've started a project with a friend (Jeremy - Tempestuous G) producing newschool goa, we're actually working on a promo album -> see here http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=874879&T=7171 As for Mindcrawlers (Synogen + Psyrius) - that will remain an expiramental psytrance project, not sure if anything Mindcrawler material is comming out soon but we still will diddle now and then - and ofcourse the Synogen project still remains my personal/artistic music. Aerosis is my detirmined attempt at breaking into the scene here Check the promotional preview.
  18. Because you are really really good... for those who don't know this amazing artist, go to www.cybernetika.de or search for his tracks on this forum - seriously one of the more tallented people who post here, very flavorful and stylized darkpsy. Promo #1 is AMAZING http://www.cybernetika.de/album.html I've got Astranimus and Dust Talk playing in my car Three cheers for Cybernetica, he's very underrated around here
  19. I'm rather offended by oCtodur's words (so not PLUR! lmao ) I think I need to show people some of our sounds, I feel like my whole life is being judged because of one sample, hehe I only want to give this forum a taste of what is comming from this direction, I don't ask for much man :-P. Hehe if I knew this scene can be so hostile here I'd rather go to post at isratrance and be insulted for not being dancefloor killarg enough rather than being insulted and accused of using Acid 5.0 loops and 5 cent claps , some folks here take things too seriously Music is music, enjoy it or don't...then move on and live a little No really, I want someone to listen to Psyramid and Anasazi and decide if it sounds the same or not...its hardly close, a different scale completely I even thought this was a joke, this got blown way out of proportion, and it feels like Lost Buddha got goons to help him out, what oCtodur said was very offensive and is hardly logical, shitty goa because we are American and 17 years old?? and we don't sound like a certain group from exactly 8 years ago? Fuck you man...excuse us for trying to do what we believe in, you must be a really shitty person to have that attidude. Thats the only negative reply I've gotten concerning Aerosis. Still need to talk to with Filipe to figure out what exactly he thought was going on. I'd link it but the track is more than 2 years old and not availible for DL where I got it from.
  20. Thanks folks, be aware that this is the second track we have done as aerosis. We have 7 or so being worked on right now and will post extracts or demos in due time. I don't think it will be dissapointing, listing the negative about what you hear is what will help us most. Once again please don't assume this is Suntrip's quality or even our own quality from a debut demo, this likely will get alot more attention due to this fiasco about Lost Buddha thinking Anasazi sounds like his Psyramid made 2 years ago as Amithdaba Buddha (can someone please listen to that and say if it sounds the same? I hear nothing the same except a pad element, the scale is completely different as well) I feel obliged to show more music, but really I think the best is to wait and to be ready to show you what we have and what we believe in. In all seriousness this thread's only purpose was to let people know we exist and to show a demo to any interested, we don't expect much attention Take care and boom, all.
  21. Hi everyone , this Bobby the other half of Aerosis. Jeremy gave me a call telling me something was up, I'm at work...this is rather a surprise. First of all, I think some clarification is needed? I mentioned that Aerosis is likely to make an apearance on the next suntrip compilation. The song that Anoebis liked is called Contorsion, it isn't up for download and has not been heard. Most of our material has not been heard due to being work in progress, a handful of people including Anoebis have heard demos and the response from everyone has been very warm, we believe in our music and are anxious to realize our dream. I don't know where any of this controversy is comming from concerning a promo demo and a preview of a work in progress peice of music. Filipe you've known our progress for weeks and have known very well what is going on with our project and Suntrip - as well as Anasazi, you have heard progress from that a week ago and you said you loved it and wanted me to send you an MP3. I do not understand where this problem came from, you have heard this before man. FYI Anasazi is a work in progress and really only 2 minutes of it exist, I don't understand why this controversy is happening about a preview of an unfinished incomplete track. I thought people would have been interested in hearing something current from Aerosis, thats all, that is not the track in question that will be released. Anasazi doesn't at all represent Suntrip Records, or even Aerosis. It is simply a preview and a sketch of some of our music. We aren't signed, we aren't released, all that I said is that Aerosis is likely to apear on the next suntrip compilation. Filipe I will ofcourse talk with you if you all of a sudden want to proclaim we are copying you just because you found out we will be on a VA compiltion with suntrip. You have heard this and much more music from us weeks ago, I do not understand why you have become so hostile now, you've been well aware of this, as well as our talks on styles of goa and uniformity in newschool production. And once again, this is a 1 minute preview of something that is far from completed, its silly to make such a fret about music that you nor anyone else has heard. @ oCtodur - it is hard for me to take you seriously ...you must ofcourse hear what my music sounds like before bashing it simply for comming from two Bulgarian and American teenagers producing goa in the US. It is a little unfair to judge an entire label because of one demo that won't be released and a 1 minute preview of a track that uses the same Tau2 bassline synthesizer as another artist The track being released is Contorsion. It sounds nothing like your music, my friend please talk to me instead of jumping to conclusions I want to remind you how you've heard all this and more...I don't understand that if you find out suntrip will release one of my tracks you are ready to proclaim we are copying you. You know as well as I do how our styles differ since both of us have heard alot of both since years ago. If anyone else would like to bash Suntrip or Aerosis, feel free to jump to conclusions, waste as much energy as you'd like, I would rather hear the music first before assuming things, all this is rather funny To those concerned, Aerosis will do what it pleases, we both have been producing for nearly 3 years and have our own beliefs about the direction and style of the music we produce. Like a peice of artwork you are entitled to your own opinion, but just like artwork you must first see it before you can judge it. To anyone offended by the existance of my goa project, I do apologize, I only make music for the enjoyment of myself and others because I believe in the expression sound and music has to offer. I would like people to actually hear my music first before making assumptions about an entire label for being interested in some demos we've shown them. I am at work and have been very short on time but Filipe, Joske, anyone else who has questions or problems please communicate with eachother before anouncing war on the forums we are all here for the music and nothing else.
  22. I was about to say that! word for word, I came and foudn this topic again to say that after hearing the song. Definately some cool elements. Some sort of IM style but with different theme and feeling. And the sound quality is impressive too!
  23. Nothing should be 1/64ths...that will give you a stutter. Bass is 16th notes and and can also by 8th or 4th notes depending on what kind of bassline you use it as.
  24. Is there no .zip or rar of the compilation so we can get all the tracks at once?
  25. I think nhjo just jams every volume knob and slider all the way up to get that killarg sound. I dunno but his work has been fairly consistant IMO He's got like 120 songs now, he's almost got as many as infected mushroom. He's the master of vanguard.... Hey one of his old songs, MTD...where he sings... I just listened to it again and I realized that he's just reading off someone elses lyrics and not knowing wtf he's saying. Can someone try and translate, I can hardly make anything out http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=404404 I think it goes like "An uption payyyyy.... Cremory [carry me] awayyyyy I'm just soo suave stepp destruction! Bass step of your pew so keep duckin' screw! we're the all new deck construction taste me you will seee....mysiohneeaaa (?) Dedicate too...I'm cooing you! cumming....fasterrrrr Oooh wayyy uh masterrrr [pause for intermission] Yes...yes... fly...flast! Sayyyyy uhhhhhhhh Last of the layyyy D'you see smarrrooo marrooo maroooo D'you see smarrrooo Wassee coo is master waneed when to up fred Now he's making parents...oh h- [end]
