Now that I own them, I still feel the same way. Yay!

So what did your God do before he produced psy?
Snapinho replied to devious's topic in General Psytrance
His Shpongle set in Turkey at Soulclipse was one of the best sem-live sets I have ever seen. Most other gigs I found so so ... like the one at the twisted party. Not nearly good enough. Not even close. But then again, Hallucinogen in Dub and Younger Brother were offer the roof than off the roof. Apsolutamente Cracy! -
Yeah, excellent picks indeed!

Brilliant record! Abasio's review kinda sums it up for me, I agree mostly. In fact, it's so good I think I'm gonna put it on next time I trip on something that makes me ly down for some time. A lot of out-of-this-world-ness, spacey, touching, ethnic but not too much, musical, emotional but not overly dramatic, it hits the right spot. Asura are (is?) consistently putting out great music. Love this! Q: what are the lyrics in The Prophecy? The female ones ... just before the flute kicks in?

Asura: Life² in july 2007
Snapinho replied to asura's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Voted for Asura. And congrats on your success dude. You really deserve it. I've been listening to the album quite a lot of times already (see down here \/ ) and I still can't figure out which tracks I like best. That usually means something. -

Artists who you think should collaborate ...
Snapinho replied to exotic's topic in General Psytrance

Artists who you think should collaborate ...
Snapinho replied to exotic's topic in General Psytrance
I dig Nemo's way of thinking. Did I already mention the perfect collaboration for me? Future Sound of London vs. The Orb or Eat Static vs. Orbital Maybe that would even be too much.. -
^So, yeah, long live faze! Did a trade with him just now, nothing but praze for faze these daze. Good trade, new cd, good communication, fast delivery, the whole sha-bang. If you get the chance, trade with this man.

Questions about legal issues with throwing goa party
Snapinho replied to Lu Bu's topic in General Psytrance
If it's gonna be a small and private party, why have a huge and agressive (?) bouncer checking people for drugs? That would ruin it from the start, wouldn't it? -
Finally a review! I've listened to this maybe twenty times in total since I got it and couldn't find the right words for a review yet. Only thing I can say right now (not listening to it) is that Pachama is incredibly groovy and the only track I don't like so much yet is the one with the full-on bassline; Sin-Quest. [edit] Invasion sounds like it could've come right off of Implant or Abduction, very oldschool feeling to it. Love it. Sucker Unit is just as oldschool, with high-pitched squeeks and alienesque industrial airplane sounds on top of a crunchy bassline. Funky shit. Trantaloid sounds like old psytrance to me. It's groovy and melodic and fun and I would dance my ass off to it. It's got me bouncing in my chair; a good sign usually. Actually, the same goes for Deadly Amphibian; twisted indeed, psychedelic, busy, in your face. Sin-Quest is the full-on basslined track, it's still danceable, but nothing too special for me. Tractor Beam, finally a track with broken beats. Nois! I am a sucker for Eat Static's breakbeats and I thoroughly enjoy this spacey drum'n'bassy track with its oldschool basses. Good stuff. Pachama has a very good buildup, it's funky and groovy and very Eat Static and I simply love it. This is gonna be played in my sets! Slightly headnodding, upbeat chilled out, with lovely out-of-this-world vocals. You know, the kind of vocals Eat Static have patented (& invented). Visitors is also classic Eat Static; crunchy, aliens, funky, the works. It even has a violin! Cracy! Brassneck is tingly and crunchy, has some breaks, isn't very upbeat, but more spaced out and alienesque, and those chopped up vocals are their trademark. Great track indeed! De-Classified features those aforementioned vocals that give me goosebumps. So outerworldy, so moving and trippy. Lovely chillout track, one that's also gonna get quite some play in sets to come. All in all: oldschool, trippy, bouncy eat static at their best. Good shit! :)

yes! This is as close to perfection as albums come for me. So moving, touching, emotional, psychedelic, everything at the same time. Brilliant!!!
-
Cool shit. You made me click a few more times on other things and I came across . One of my best party moments ever... genious shpongle set by simon, never seen or experienced anything like it. Just after the Eclipse, E V E R Y B O D Y tripping, crowded as hell chillout. Very beautiful and very offtopic, hehe.

Haha, good to see these replies, I was gonna ask for Texas Faggott too, but it's all yours dudes.

Cheers just one thing... could someone (you?) edit the title to Snap i n h o otherwise it would sound like snafeeno or something. and that's just plain weird!

Let's consider this post of seraph's On Topic again [meaning: remove the arguments with Journey Man] and let me reply by saying that I agree. I have no idea in what way it is ironic, but I do really like his artwork. It's arty, original and it strikes a note in me, dunno why. It's funny!

Steve Ward's Singing Tesla Coil
Snapinho replied to Puck's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
Fucking brilliant! Just saw a show by Mike Daisey at a festival here, where the Tesla Coil played a central role in his monologue. Very cool!
