  1. I can only echo what I said in another thread: I thought "Brain in a Fishtank" was utter shit, cheesy pseudo psychedlia with far too much of that flute. Immature and infantile.
  2. Haha yeah that's usually the way it goes, obviously the mosre Posford in a track the better! I loved AYS and TOTI but by the time it got to Ineffable Mysteries I only lked one track, "Invisible Man in a Flourescent Suit" due to its Hallucinogenesque arpeggiating melody. I'll listen to this album without prejudice but like I say that track didn't gel with me at all.

  4. X-Dream Spirallianz Midi Miliz Etnica Hallucinogen Man With No Name
  5. Yeah it was a particularly old and slow style, light on the ears and of course very beautiful; as with most music it just tends ot get faster and more aggressive or more intense as time goes on because of the need to make crowd pleasing tracks, hence the destruction of such early Goa as this track and others around the same time (the rest of the tracks on Project II Trance are also excellent '93 gems, including Gumbo - The Quickening, Hallucinogen's first trance track).
  6. Doktor Mesmer, because it is so psychedelic it's absurd.
  7. Hyperspaced is so fucked up, such alien acid sounds, and only Etnica and Doof's kick drums surpass Telepathy's through a very large system.
  8. So many tracks, so many underrated gems; between Chemical Trance, Intense Visitation, Z Plane Sunrise, Moon Influence and Party Droid I think my all time favourite has to be Party Droid... The intensity is just unreal, it's the peak of Goa Trance, of Trance, of music!
  9. Yeah I totally agree with this one, quite an obscure little gem that deserved better mastering.
  10. Couldn't agree more with you Mubali on your views of pseudo spirituality and elitism in the genre, they appealed to me many years ago and now i found they detract from the production and enjoyment of great quality trance music.
  11. RIP. A great contributor to this community who will be sadly missed.
  12. Think i've heard a fair few from the film Dune, which I quite like because it must be one of the greatest science fiction novels ever written. I'd like to know where Colorbox got the sample on Grey Spook. Frankly I do find explicit drug samples very jarring and childish, it really turns me off a tune, and creates a stereotype of Goa trance listeners that isn't always applicable.
  13. Excellent! Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks KosmikTentacles i'll check those out.
  14. Someone else posted this on the forum and I just adore it; smooth and understated, cool but not dull, any reccomendations?
  15. Yeah that Aeon track is an obscure little gem! I've got it on Goa Head 5, would love to hear more emotional trance like it.
  16. Oh! Well there we go I liked the Asterope remix simply because it's a bit more exposure for that wonderful melody that all must hear.
  17. That track at 59:00 uses the same sample as Etnica's "Vimana", really wasn't expecting that, surely they know who they're referencing? Very much enjoying the remix of Asterope at 30:45! Some excellent tracks, and some above average full on.
  18. Cheers man! Yeah I can't get enough of the hypnotic fatness, chunky mechanical grooves.
