  2. Really into this specific melodic sound, just hints of uplifting notes. Any very similar recomendations woukd be much appreciated.
  3. http://soundcloud.com/ospindoctor/an-oldschool-psychedelic-tech Children of Paradise, Spirallianz, X-Dream, Wizzy Noise, Hux Flux.
  4. Manuser if I had rated that track it would have been a 9/10 because Love Stimulation is a hallmark in euphoric trance! A timeless anthem!
  5. Try Celtic Cross - Hicksville, quite an underrated Posford lead psybient record. The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences Solar Quest - Orgship (astounding ambient by the hard acid ledgend) Probably anything by Eat Static (an offshoot of Ozric Tentacles), my favourite tracks are : The Brain, Lost In Time, Gulf Breeze (Zetan Mix), and they can all be found on the Lost In Time EP (which I thankfully have on vinyl) The two Mystery of The Yeti albums are highly renound recordings of the best and deepest in psychedelic ambient, nice Posford tracks on there.
  6. Haha my thoughts exactly, kind of ruins the point of the topic. From me: Artifact303 - Back To Space
  7. @ Padmapani : Morphem are excellent! How Can U B Sure is my favourite tune off the album, so underrated.
  8. Panik - Lab-O-Matic - Incsoc This is a bangin' party track, some good fullon for a change! Obviously it's very dancefloor orientated, but it still has some beautiful little bits going on, favourite moment for me was around 3:50, quite a Terrafractyl-ish melody, then slams in some aggressive texture. Yeah I like it, it's not that much of a headtrip and I don't listen to fullon very much anymore so it's not to my exact subjective taste but it's definetly an 8/10 tune. Aaand, back to driving oldschool Goa trance: https://www.youtube....h?v=clVs3A9PRzg
  9. I actually agree with Radi about the fact that mastering isn't the most important aspect of production by any means; I think it says something about the quality of Goa being produced today when there are a lot of complaints about mastering (especially on Spiritual Rising, it was borderline unlistenable), but I wouldnt change the dirty, muddy sounds of any old school Goa track i've heard.
  10. Just putting it out there that Portamento is an absolutely amazing tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOM2Q8xucL4 I don't know if i've heard a faster Goa track, rapid!
  11. I think Newschool Goa still has a long way to go in terms of quality mastering and clarity of sounds in order to make the musical compositions shine.
  12. Brian Eno - Music For Airports Harold Budd and Brian Eno - Ambient 2: The Plateaux of Mirror Future Sound of London - Lifeforms Autechre - Amber Aes Dana - Leylines
  13. Non Electronic: Miles Davis - Bitches Brew Electronic: Autechre - Amber As for Goa I just can't choose, I love all of those oldschool Goa covers, Twisted, Synergy, Trust in Trance, I.F.O, Monzoon, Helium, Blue Energy, Feeling Weird... Just can't choose.
  14. Power Source - Goaway 9.5/10 In my all time top 10 of Goa Classics, so euphoric, incredible! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qaddSgGT9A
  15. Yeah man really early Transwave, first EP they released in 1994, lovely oldschool sounds for sure.
  16. Future Sound of London - Landmass 8/10 Nice track indeed, very listenable, but I always preferred FSOL's experimental and ambient stuff, the tracks "Domain" & "Among Myselves" would be the 10/10's for me Broken Toy - Break Down Baby 4.5/10 Nice beat, but that's about it, for 10 minutes.. My choice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOSFFtuKA1g
  17. Oh I don't know, feels like Psynews has picked up a bit recently, don't you think?
  18. Witchcraft - Magic Frequencies : 8/10 Fantastic track, great melodic style and a very "classically Goa " feel, always a pleasure to listen to but not a 9 or a 10 as i've never felt Witchcraft's tracks quite reach the truly ledgendary status of say Etnica etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bT9t6N_7Tu8
  19. Astral Projection - People Can Fly MFG - Why? Transwave - Cycles of Life Etnica - Party Droid Total Eclipse - Blade Runner Hallucinogen - LSD Koxbox - Doctor Mesmer Pleiadians - Electra Shakta - Lepton Head Pt. III X-Dream - The 5th Dimension (Live in Paris) *In my opinion an example of a literally perfect trance track. Prana - Scarab Man With No Name - Teleport Psychaos - Keyboard Widow Green Nuns of the Revolution - Ring of Fire Infected Mushroom - N/A Electric Universe - Neutron Dance Chi A.D. - Astral Warrior The Infinity Project - Hyperspaced Cosmosis - Howling at the Moon Oforia - Into Another Universe Great topic, interesting to see tracks by artists that personally I wouldn't think of, particularly those who posted "History" for Etnica, really interesting choice but i'd always presumed everyone would choose tracks off of Alien Protein haha. A few artists i'd have included: Juno Reactor (High Energy Protons) Doof (Double Dragons / Let's Turn On) Dimension 5 (Deep Space 5D)
  20. 1992 Dance 2 Trance - Moon Spirits 1993 X-Dream - Trip To Trancesylvania 1994 V/A - Yellow 1995 Hallucinogen - Twisted 1996 Etnica - Alien Protein 1997 Pleiadians - Identified Flying Object 1998 Cosmosis - Synergy 1999 Hux Flux - Cryptic Crunch 2000 Spirallianz - Blast Food 2001 Midi Miliz - Antistat 2002 Oforia - Let It Beat 2003 California Sunshine - Sinking Sand 2004 Vibe Tribe - Melodrama 2005 Derango - Tumult 2006 Bufo - Bug Eyes 2007 Ace Ventura - Rebirth 2008 Zen Mechanics - Holy Cities 2009 Delirious Noon - Launch For Lanctus 2010 Psykovsky - Tanetsveta 2011 Artifact 303 - Back To Space 2012 Space Elves - Terrestrial Planet Finder
  21. I love the ultra repetitive style of his early stuff, like Neutron Dance and One Love, other faves include: Luna Overdrive Portamento Electronic Pulsation

  23. The first Goa tracks I listened to were by Hallucinogen, Blue Planet Corporation, Doof and a few others. I still listen to all of these artists extremely regularly, never growing tired of the complexity within the tracks. The first fullon I heard was the track Rearranged by Vibe Tribe, which I still play occasionally and enjoy, and I also listened to some tunes by Astrix and 1200mics, none of which do I still listen to.
