  1. waw that makes me curious! Looking forward to it
  2. Been a long time since I last listened to this, never loses it's glory though.
  3. The samples sound awesome, really looking forward to this one...
  4. Sublime set... Marianna falls is so beautiful...
  5. Yes, studying here for a year as exchange student!
  6. since the winter here in Matsumoto isn't coming to a close anytime soon, I just ordered... and and ultimae 2010, here I come!
  7. +1, I thought that the album was really good when I first listened to it. Clear favourites being the lunar civilizations remix and Pentagon, but over time, I've grown to love Classic Process and the Full Mental Jackpot remix as well. And it's still growing on me... Maybe, in comparison to say IFO, this album isn't that obvious at first, but it definitely is topclass scifi goa with an incrdible atmosphere throughout the album. Highly recommended.
  8. Why don't you give it a shot then? I'm curious!
  9. Like Penzoline pointed out before, this truly is a monumental step in the evolution of psytrance. This guy combines so many elements from different genre's/sub-genre's that it's really hard to put into a box, and I love that. This is true Psytrance: evocative, imaginative, cinematic, insanely layered and the list goes on... It's not only the atmosphere this guy creates that is so incredible, he also manages to deliver high quality music! His build-ups and his breaks are so well thought of and masterfully put into place. I absolutely love the arrangements, they contribute a great deal to the insane atmosphere. Like penzo said, this is up there with the dark goa classics in terms of atmosphere. And then it's free... Just incredible. So if you like Psytrance, hell even if you don't, listen to this!! I can't really name favourite tracks because the album is so coherent in it's atmosphere and quality, even the slower tracks just drip with epicness. That aside, I particularly enjoy "Impossible Mirage", "Tyrannis" and "Calling Mercurio". This guy actually has me looking forward to his next output already!
  10. The new album by Cybernetika, Scythe of Orion, definitly comes close to the best album from 2010 for me. ALthough I usually prefer more goa-esque stuff, this one is just too delicious, killer-atmosphere! Will check the new Goasia album soon, something tells me I'm gonna like that a lot too. As for the comps, I have to say Temple of Chaos and Spiritual Rising really did it for me.
  11. Merry christmas and a happy new year for everyone here!
  12. I instinctively voted for MFG, because I just love Project Genesis, but when I began to think about it, it's not that clear anymore, so I would go with both in the end. Point being that they both made some unforgettable classics (and turned to shit afterwards, but hey, who didn't?). And the discussion about the start of Nitzho is just stupid. The scene is so small, everyone has got to be influenced by everyone in some way. That's not a bad thing either. The only thing that got penzoline started is the enormous overstatement that MFG was solely responsible for said sub-genre to emerge. That statement was then rectified, and hence there is no discussion imho.
  13. Wow. Just wow. This is a masterpiece of evocative, science fictionesque psytrance, no doubt. Congratulations Lars, you really outdid yourself.
  14. Antares, artifact 303 and e-mantra in 1 year... I've got a feeling 2011 will be awesome especially looking forward to Antares' album!!
  15. Just going through the album for the first couple of times now and I have to say that I am really surprised. This is really good! Well, not all tracks are of the same calibre ofcourse, as is bound to happen with most compilations anyhow. But I really really like this compilation! It's varied, it's very good quality and there are some very interesting tracks in there. I really like Arronax's and Somnesia's track, so much energy with such a great flow! Also, the Antares and Minsphere tracks are great. Maybe I'll write a longer review when I have listened a few more times. Great work Richpa on compiling this!
  16. Jeez, talk about a tough choice. In the end it would have to be Jaia for me, but only by a very small margin, followed closely by Transwave, BPC and Total Eclipse.
  17. This is really hard, naming only one. But I'm going to confirm the HUGE cliche... It's IFO. It's just IFO. The only albums that maybe come close are Rock bitch Maffia from Gnotr and Alien Protein from Etnica, but I have NEVER ever heard an album that is so utterly alien in it's approach yet so complete, intense and psychedelic as IFO. Time and time again I have put myself to the test and asked myself if this is really it but I just keep on coming back to it, and every time again it blows me away. Each time I put on the record it's like the sweetest homecoming you can imagine. This is true goa trance and also psy trance. This is classical music from millennia into the future. This is, and it's rather hard for me to say that, because I am a really down-to-earth kinda guy, something that transcends music in general. Or maybe, just maybe, this is the true essence of music. In any case, it is my favorite album, and the best I have ever heard.
  18. I can understand that since you went for the psykovsky release, which is a substantially different style. I don't own this album myself but I was rather impressed with dharmakaya. Maybe you need to give it another chance? I also disagree with describing their style as generic neo-goa from what I have heard of them. It's much darker, and actually exactly how penzoline described the atmosphere. Maybe going for a psykovsky album and then buying this didn't really do it justice? Expectations and such.
  19. Could anyone please review the new Amithaba Buddha, Myself in the Mirror? Thanks!
  20. Not to forget, his sideproject crazy astronaut is super fast but really really really well-produced and not that dark at all. I love Renegade a lot, and although I don't listen much to dark or other fast psytrance, this absolutely shows it's possible to pull off, even with melodies and all that! F*ckin' Epic. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2kpVYqSnmk
