  1. I'm only going through my first listens, but I'm liking it so much already. This is quality material. The tracks I like best are zed reactor's (this is sometimes a tad cheesy, but come on, it's sooooo epic ), Astrancer's, Hypnotic signal's, E-mantra's, hell almost all of them have a very nice feel to them. Positive vibes with lilting melodies, strong basslines, you name it, it's there. This is a fierce contender to Suntrip's Temple of Chaos for the best compilation this year thus far In my humble opinion, this is a really big step up from Elixir of Life, which had it's good moments, but for me it was a little disappointing from what I had heard from the samples. Highly Recommended!!
  2. I study Japanology and my field is popular culture, so here goes You have to realize that the manga available in Europe are like a really really tiny selection of the manga available in Japan, but there are still dozens of good series to look out for. Shonen (for young boys, but honestly, some of these just tickle my "OMFG THIS IS SO COOL WHAT YOU JUST DID THERE"-vein): - Naruto: Now, I know this is really hyped, and at first I liked it when I was like 16, then I began to hate it, but for some reason, the series have turned out to be one of the greatest shonen manga ever created, there's depth, plenty of emotion, very cool fights, the story, characters and everything around that is just very well thought-out. - Bleach: Really sucks nowadays in terms of story, but the first arc is pretty damn awesome. Also, the character design is stunning. But then again, read only the first arc. - Neon Genesis Evangelion: Classic, 'nuff said - All Gundam series are worth checking out. It's Mecha, so you have to like big robots, but they're okay I think! - Claymore: Pretty cool too (not sure of this is seinen or shonen ). Seinen (for older boys ): - One of my alltime favourites: "Baccano!" Just read it! Or watch the anime! This is absolutely FANTASTIC stuff. - Elfen Lied : Very deep, dark and emotional with a lot of gore. - Not sure if there's a manga of it but the Anime is really cool, and at times rather psychedelic in it's own way: Bakemonogatari You're already reading Deathnote and FMA, those are awesome as well ^^ ( And definitely check GTO and Monster, like Go-goa trancer said)
  3. Holy damn, the samples sound frickin' awesome Going to buy this for sure!!!! And that cover just rocks

  7. After some fifteen listens, I must say.... Fantastic compilation! The first track, by khetzal, like others have pointed out before me, seems a bit dull to me, it isn't going anywhere and while the violins are nice, the track just doesn't do it for me. The second by KOB is a bit better but this isn't really my cup of tea either. Then, the third track, is just awesome. It's so driving and inspired, yet not too bombastic but effective none-the-less. It gets to me every time I listen to it, great stufff. (Really impressed with antares I must say.) The fourth track is equally enjoyable. This is just a fantastic old school stomper with a very nice lead melody which just oozes with acid. Then, Merow's track... holy shit man, that's some heavy stuff right there epic epic epic. This track just sky rockets you into inner space, no excuses accepted. That climax is just so epic, driving and powerful, it's amazing! SMASHING! Filteria's track is great too. That sample, I have to disagree with some here, fits just right in. It makes the track have that silly-crazy feeling, kinda mad-hatter style, if you know what I mean. The end is remarkable as well. On the other hand, this tune really sounds like it's a filteria remix of a KOB track. It's weird, but that's the feeling I get. Doesn't make it any worse though haha, awesome. Then, one of my favourite goa tracks ever... This just sounds like it fell into a big can dripping with acid when it was little. Great great track with one of the most hooking melodies I have ever heard. In German, they call this an "Ohrwurm", 'cuz it just enters your head and stays there. And last but not least, nebula meltdown... WHAT a surprise! This track is just so perfect as the finisher of this album. It takes the twistedness of the other tracks, gives it a whirl and comes up with something neither as bombastic as merrow's track nor the acidness of Crossing Mind's, but something soooooo subtle yet ever-driving. And in the end it creates a fantastic twisted atmosphere with some ambient-like effects like the piano, I'm a fan, no doubt! To conclude all my drooling, this is one of my favourite suntrip compilations and I really think they nailed it. To present to us their vision of goa night trance and coming up with this, it's great. Keep 'em coming! 8,5/10
  8. What penzoline said, there really are some nice tracks on there, thanks a lot for sharing!

  10. Don't worry Draeke, I think there will be enough people who will buy the record as I think it's gonna be awesome!
  11. Great news! I'm REALLY looking forward to that crossing mind album ^^
  12. 67. It's integrity is unquestionable. 68. It's "joie de vivre" in it's most pure form.
  13. that goes without saying I hope
  14. Shake Fear is goooooooooood very nice, keep them coming!
  15. I believe that a lot of new school releases are of superb quality, thanks to a few well-known and respected labels. Yet, I am still waiting for something legendary, stuff with the quality of old pleiadians, hallucinogen, mfg, to name a few. I do believe though that it's a coming, I really do. It's all a matter of time.

Damn Draeke, truly awesome mix with some heavy hitting tracks, some awesome and funny samples and an absolutely grand ending! I like! Edit: really curious about the tracklist ^^
  18. For me too, dimension 5 embodies the pinnacle of deep space goa. Astral Projection is pretty spacey too though, Dancing Galaxy!
